Released: Hi quality pictures of various props for SW VII: The Force Awakens
>That fucking tapco'd glock with an AR frontsight
It's fucking retarded and I absolutely love it.
The "new" trandoshan blasters are fucking tits
I am not going to let this websites cancerous autism ruin this movie for me

>Its as if no voices suddenly cried out in terror, and were not suddenly silenced.
Nothing of value was lost / 10
also comes in black for elites
>>27931620
I love a lot of the designs from TFA, specifically General Hux's uniform and how it uses designs from the SS' overcoats.
>>27931620
Better that than trashing c-96's and stg-44s
>>27931681
In 100 years glock will be bankrupt and you great grand kids will shitpost on /k/ about how they trashed good guns.
>>27931760
Don't want to burst your bubble but the glocks look like resin molds or some shit.
>>27931665
How does it aim, there's no rear sight. Is this why storm troopers can't hit shit?
>>27931675
That shirt makes him look prego wtf.
>>27931798
Virtually all movie guns carried by actors are resin/rubber props. Metal replicas may be used for closeups.
There was an auction of all the matrix film guns and they were all shitty looking rubber props in person. All movie guns have been this way for over 20 years.
The only time a real gun is touched on a film set is when it is firing blanks in a single scene. Any camera angle showing the gun not firing means it is likely a resin prop gun. Even then they often still use a prop gun and just CGI the muzzle flash and brass.
>>27931675
Damn it, I cannot unsee Donald Duck.
What trigger is that?
>>27931675
Reuse nazi themes, I'm ok with this.
>>27931675
The only good image of this whole shitfest so far.
Hell of a shotgun
Any other identifiable firearms/parts in there?
This looks like it was mostly built around a G36
>>27931798
>>27931866
The point was shit posting about the fact will still exists
>>27932038
Deagle brand deagle
>>27932038
Looks like a Bergmann.
>>27932038
Looks like a fallout plasma rifle
>>27931866
Yeah no. Work in film. Resin props are only for deep background. Most armourers will issue decommissioned firearms to any featured extra or cast member.
So there.
Seriously? A CO2 cartridge, a dumb aluminum frame and a muzzle-whatever made out of resin?
>>27931847
Music Begins .... One sight feeds the fiiiiiire, one sight ends dessirre, one sight... The prefacing is an excerpt from Journeys newest album " /k/"
WTH is THIS?!
>>27932038
Sterling-ish with double chinese ACOGs, C-More and a CTR-ish buttstock
I thought this was Star Wars not fucking dystopian space apocalypse.
>>27932105
>>27932109
Second one looks like a rifle-length version of the first.
I assume the prop here is cut by a lightsaber in some scene during the movie, which is why the "muzzle" looks all fucked up.
>>27932157
These optics are ridiculous.
fallout has done all these I shit you not.
>>27932105
A cigarette lighter.
>>27932163
That was a given all the way back it was just starwars not episode 4.
>>27932093
>Seriously?
At least it looks made up from scratch, it's not just a random air pistol they've glued one or two rubber blocks on to make it look space age
>>27932105
>>27932109
>ruining a sterling.jpg
>>27931866
>Even then they often still use a prop gun and just CGI the muzzle flash and brass.
Which looks like shit.
>>27932179
>Check fallout 4 weapon thread on /v/
>Supressed gauss gun
>Flamethrower dealing +15 cryo damage
>Automatic Double barrel shotgun
>>27932012
Huh, built around a Bergmann-Bayard. Would not have expected that.
>>27933486
durrr Bergmann 1896, I am returd.
>>27931620
No wonder they can't hit shit they only got a front sight post.
>>27933486
I would have been shocked if a bastard cousin or two of the C96 didn't make it in somewhere.
All these props look like the empire/rebels cannot into ergonomics. Their grips all look like shit.
>>27933543
Well it was a long time ago anon.
>>27932038
>>27932081
Lawsuit between the house of mouse and Bethesda when fellow stalkers?
>>27932067
it's like the gun is a small child hiding behind a curtain with its butt poking out.
>>27931665
>>27931620
>introducing the new Glock Gen 4,000
>we still haven't changed shit so you have to but an upgrade kit separately from a shady company
>Perfection™©®
>>27932648
Don't forget these babies.
>Automatic laser musket
>endless magazine double barrel shotgun
>shishkebab that deals cryo damage
>basebal bat that does rad damage
And that's just the shit I've picked up in the unmodified game.
>MFW I fired the automatic musket
>>27933603
>not mini-chainsaw weapon that does more damage with every hit
>when it hits about five times a second
it's like having a goddamn lightsaber. I've cut through legendary sentrybots with it.
>>27933626
jesus christ it does exponential damage?!....
....what's the catch?
>>27933647
You have to play fallout 4
Is it bad that as soon as the starwars movie was announced I bought a sterling carbine?
>>27931944
This is dumb, the empire is dead. They should have made it about a space isis. Like another sect of jedi-ism similar to islam was trying to take over space with space terrorists.
>>27933666
>They should have made it about a space isis. Like another sect of jedi-ism similar to islam was trying to take over space with space terrorists.
That is literally the Sith anon. Islamic State In Space
>>27933652
as far as I can tell the weapon drops are random... but what did it drop off of and what's the main descriptor on the name?
>>27933666
A gigantic empire like that doesn't suddenly disappear just because its figurehead dies.
>>27933700
Legendary ghoul and furious.
>>27933696
No they made it anti-nationalist propaganda.
>>27933701
Then what was all that celebrating for? Shut up I'm going to ruin the ending to the whole series for you all: in the end they send younglings to earth and its meant to imply humankind on earth was started by jedis and we have jedi powers among us.
>>27933725
duly noted.
I think I got my 10mm off a legendary raider but I'm not 100% sure, it shoots exploding bullets which prompted to pull all my mods off my go to 10mm and turn the new one into a kickass silenced marksman type 10mm grenade launcher.
modifier is explosive, effects are 15 points of area effect explosive damage.
>>27932598
If you think they actually use real sterlings then you have as much brain power as your picture.
>>27933789
I got a minigun with that same effect.
Right before my saves corrupted making me revert from a 30hr save to a 14hr save.
>tfw still played 50 hours on that save
>>27933813
>having one save
>>27933932
>right before my saves corrupted
>saves
Eight save files were corrupted, anon.
>>27933548
Underrated post
This movie is going to be so shit...
>>27934248
Can't be any worse that what Lucas did himself.
>>27933813
Got a combat shotgun with the explody qualifier.
Slapped an auto receiver and a long barrel on it.
Every single pellet does an additional 15pt AoE. I have 1-shot alpha deathclaws and supermutant warlords with it.
Then I discovered the Big Boy, and stuck a MIRV mod on it.
>consume 1 mini nuke
>shoot 12 of them and carpet-bomb an entire city block
First time I've used the console in this game: Gave myself a couple thousand mini nukes, now I use that launcher exclusively.
>legendary deathclaw? NUKE IT
>single, piddly little radroach? NUKE IT TOO
I've killed myself sooo many times, but totally worth it.
>>27931620
ArmslistAbomination/10
It looks like a fucking tacticooled hipoint
>scifi movie guns are still mostly abominations of real guns
Come on. It's 2015 and rapid prototyping is cheap as hell. There's no excuse for not coming up with some original designs.
>those not-rails
All the cheesegrater-esque discomfort you love, none of the ability to actually attach accessories
>>27934701
I think they're supposed to look like cooling fins.
Do cooling fins work in space? Honest question here.
>>27934753
Mostly. There's a lot less matter to transfer the heat to, but in the balance space is really fucking cold. Well, except for surfaces getting solar radiation.
>>27933730
That celebration shit was added post prequels, in the remastered versions. The Empire doesn't roll over when the leader is killed, Coruscant still has a massive government commanding untold legions of stormtroopers.
>>27935056
Yeah, but instead of a unified government you now have a fragmented bunch of Governors and Grand Moffs squabbling for power.
>>27932105
Is that a ACOG and a C-MORE sight melted together on top?
>>27935208
Weird scopes are pretty normal for Star Wars. Considering that JJ actually loves Star Wars it's not surprising he's having new stuff follow the kitbash aesthetics of the original trilogy.
>>27931620
that looks like a kinkov style muzzle booster with holes drilled in it.
>>27934213
Is there any logical reason why you would fucking say that post is underrated? Has anybody expressed any kind of dissatisfaction or criticism at all against it? Are you delusional? Are you reading replies that are nonexistant? Maybe you come from communities with voting systems, but there is literally no way that you could know what other people think of that post you just replied to here. Maybe it's psychological. Maybe it's your own post you're replying to, like a 12 year old fucktard liking his own facebook posts thinking his swelling autism is going unnoticed. Maybe your self esteem depends on you tricking yourself into thinking someone out there thinks your post is worth something. Or maybe you are just a retard, the worst kind of retard, the one who thinks he's smart, the one who thinks he's the only one to have gotten the joke, to have understood the post. Well, guess what, faggot, that post is by no definition underrated so why don't you do the world a favour and go check out what the bottom of your toilet smells like?
>>27932093
We imperial guard now
>>27935646
Its been a long time since I've seen someone get buttblasted over absolutely nothing
>>27931675
I love how the bad guys are going to be 10 times more popular than the good guys. Again.
>>27931847
Point, line up the front post with person squeeze recoiless blaster and hope it hits.
>>27935646
>>27932086
Was true until 1-2 years go, then they began to use airsoft prop and CGI for the fire animation
>>27936528
In TV shows you're probably right, altough I would be surprised if they would go with the cheap option for such a high-profile movie.
Why not post the best looking ones?
>>27936823
Fucking bone bayonet!
>>27936825
>>27936825
looks like a barrel shroud for a ppsh
>>27932105
looks like one of those bushmaster knockoff ACOGs mounted..backwards?
This thread is going to make me have an autistic breakdown.
I see a lot of shoulder things that go up.
Don't the props guys know how dangerous those are?
>>27931866
They'll use metal props for as many scenes as they can. They use the rubber ones when they're afraid the metal ones will get dinged or ding an actor (like someone jumping from the top of a building while holding a rifle).
