A red dot or some kind of optic on the top to make rapid target acquisition easier, I've head acquiring sight pictures can be really difficult in tight situations. Probably duct tape mags together to facilitate quicker reloads.
Secondary: Some form of automatic pistol that had a Double action/single action trigger pull. Probably a SS P226 in .40 S&W. I've heard double action triggers are a pain in the cunt but DA/SA is the best combination of the two. Also Sig Sauer has a good reputation behind it. Probably wouldn't go with a can on this, I'd want it as an "ohshit" weapon and a can would be harder to have holstered or move around. Laser on it and night sights of course.
Fuck explosives that would just get you more people interested in your location.
