What 9mm or .357/.38 carbine should I get?
Requirements are
>must be 9mm or .357/.38
>NJ legal
>receiver or tang mounted aperture sights

Oh almost forgot
>ability to shoot cheap shitty ammo like wolf preferred

Marlin Camp 9 if you can find it. You must find a 10 round S&W 59 series mag for it, tho. Aside from the removable mag, nowhere near any AWB features. Just gotta change out the recoil buffer and spring usually (factory ones were unbelievably shitty; fell apart when gun cleaning chems touched the buffer), and it'll eat whatever. Direct blowback.
Or >>27904564. Just bear in mind it's specifically mentioned by some full retard AWBs b/c it was used in Columbine.
How hard is it to get one of these?

Psa 9mm carbine. You can buy a nice upper in a few years
I absolutely love my Cx4. It is one of the most fun and most comfy guns I've ever fired.

Went to an estate sale this weekend because they had advertised a camp 9. Got there only to find that the greedy bastards had priced it at nearly $800. Fuck that horse shit

They're legal here.

9mm AR, 995, gen1 sub2k

I vote for the Cx4 i've never heard anything bad against it. Plus the magazines are plentiful and cheap because they are the same as the 92/m9
But I'm biased for it as i prefer polymer over wood on most guns. Even my AK is Bakelite.

Hi Point 995ts. Keep in mind that pistol ammo can be a bitch to get if you're <21 years old.

Whew lad, I'd go for that lever gun right there in your photo. That looks great to me for some reason.
Is that a Winchester 92 or a clone? Is the muzzle threaded? Looks like it might be.

Good luck finding one. I love mine but I got lucky as hell stumbling across one at a gun show. If I had waited five more minutes to make the decision to buy it, it would have been gone.
>>27911687
shit, there's plenty here in WNC but everyone seems to think they are just as uncommon here as elsewhere in the country and the prices reflect that. I regularly see people buying used Sub2ks here at $600+
How hard is it to get a Marlin or Ruger 9mm carbine and how much do they cost? I like their aesthetics

NJfag here, Gen 2's have a threaded barrel + pistol grip making them Assault Firearms under NJ law.

Nah, they're easy to get. They're just not easy to get without paying more than MSRP plus shipping and 3% credit card fee - unless you want the .40 version anyway, which is common as fuck.

I've been after a marlin camp 9 for about 3 years. I've been able to pursue 3 during that time. (I don't use gunbroker). The first two were at auctions and each went for about $700. The last was at a recent estate sale and was nearly $900. They tend to sell on gunbroker for about $600
