>January 2013 - "Assault weapons" ban proposal.
>Americans buy up every "Assault Weapon" hey can get their hands on.
>February 2015 - XM855 ban proposal.
>Americans buy up all the ammo they can get their hands on.
>July 2015 - Obama announces military draw down to 450,000 troops.
>Increased number of highly trained Americans on the home front.
And the result?
>Tons of highly trained, prior service Americans with lots of guns, ammo, and training scattered amongst the American populace.
Think about this...
Joe thinks for the day, team leader thinks for the week, squad leader thinks for the month, and platoon sergeant thinks for the year. All the way up to the Pentagon thinking for the next 50 years.
What's a good way to arm our citizens against all enemies with out instituting a national crisis alert? What's the easiest way to get a kid to do something you want them to do?
Tell them they can't do it...
Our government knows something we don't. The evidence is there. This is my possible analysis. What are your thoughts?
Why do conspiracy theorists always have some of the most insane ways of coming to a conclusion. Yet they somehow make sense. Even if there's a good chance its horseshit.
But goddamn this theory is so crazy it might be true.
I mean, when you look at the end result, were we just playing into their hands?
Even interpol is saying now that an armed civillian society is the best way to fight terrorism
Because they have already decided on what it is they are going to believe. As such, evidence falls into their self fulfilling prophecy in a logical manner.
you can follow conspiracy theories as far as you like, literally forever, but that's the thing, they just go on forever and never actually end or come to a conclusion
There's also the patriotism boost from when the GWOT began. Back in the 90s kids were badmouthing the US, a few years later those same kids were waving flags and signing up.
Remember the shitty FEMA response in New Orleans? How many people sincerely started prepping after that?
Why is hand sanitizer a thing and why are those little wall-mounted dispensers everywhere now?
Hopefully this future enemy will be human, but maybe not. Either way, the US is so heavily armed and fanatical compared to 20 years ago any invasion is going to suck.
If I smell what the Rock is cooking, you're saying gun scares are a net good.
I generally agree even though it fucks up the firearms economy. It gets people to take their rights seriously, exercise them, and get involved in politics. It can make people paranoid if our rights are in a constant state of "siege", though. They need to be spaced out every 5-10 years, not every 1-2 like they have been, though.
I'm not buying it, but I'll post because this meme fits OP'S narrative.
Reminder this is similar to how we were readied for ww2, only instead of with guns it was with manufacturing.
So, all along...
Why do we hate him?
Because we have to hate him. Because he's the hero the U.S. deserves, but not the one it needs right now, so we'll hunt him. Because he can take it, because he's not a hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector, a Black Knigga.
>2013-CURRENT YEAR HELLO
>Obama becomes best gun salesman of all time, everyone from not-so-soccermoms to CODkids gets some sort of gun
>2015 (CURRENT YEAR!!!)
>Obama imports 10,000 Syrian "refugees"
>plans on a total of 100,000 (which will end up a million, Germany originally took 800,000 now wants 8,000,000)
>terror is going to sweep a well armed nation, and the blame will be in the government's irresponsibility
You don't need to wonder what will happen. But think of it like this, Obama is anti-american. He IS a Marxist or whatever they're calling themselves nowaday, he IS a subject of the Frankfurt school. I think they're using those with the Thule school of thought to bring about a revolution, then hijack said revolution to institute their brand of totalitarianism. The shadow war of Thules vs Frankfurts didn't end with Jews winning ww2 (obviously since they took over Russia, Asia, and half of Europe, and now all of Europe and for the most part the US)
Pls tell me someone knows what I'm talking about, my brain is too exhausted to put it more eloquently.
Fuck you. I do not want to have to thank Obama for making the standard citizen of this nation into a decent fighter.
The idea isn't to subjugate the American people its to incite them to arm and train themselves on their own time and money in anticipation of a land invasion or other large scale military operation.
I told my crazed conspiracy survivalist doomsday prepping uncle this for years. There's a reason the gov't is doing what it does. They have something figured out. Of course they know shit we don't. Great analogy with the "Ave. Joe thinks for a day. Sergeant thinks for Month, Penta could be thinking for 50 years"
W-Why does this make so much sense? Fuck me /k/...
Wait, But this doesn't explain the 1986 ban on full auto firearms (inb4 not banned they closed the registration)? Why would they have done that? This would have defeated the whole purpose.
>God speed Hollis, God speed.
that's an irrational fear though. you're still living on cold war xenophobia, and don't even realize that their birthrate is in decline, which is why they're loosening the birth rate cap.
Full retard is bad in a tactical sense. So we've adapted by mastering accurate aimed fire. Appleseed project anyone? 500 yard shooting would slaughter a standard infantry platoon and if it didn't the cas support would be around quick enough to respond effectively.
>mfw the US government tricked people into arming themselves for a coming calamity
Why did so few people buy full autos pre 86?
seems like something you would just get after you had all your bases covered, seems like most people start out with a bolt action, get a semi auto rifle or semi auto hand gun, then maybe a shotgun.
Based on the number of transferable full autos out there that not many people ever got any full autos.
>Why did so few people buy full autos pre 86?
not as many wannabe operators and paranoid muh gunz faggots as today. only collectors were interested in fa guns. the average gun owners couldn't care less.
> legalize propaganda against americans
> legalize stripping away citizenship
> legalize drone strikes on american soil
> create 'joint fusion centers' of feds taking over police stations
> declare returning vets as potential terrorists
> push that gun owners, republicans, and Christians are actual terrorists
> import syrians
>create Global Police Force/ Strong Cities Network
> UN troops on U.S. soil to fight terrorists
Why did you tell the idiots? Now they will think it was their idea all along.
If that's true, I'm a hundred-percent okay with it.
If—and that's a big one—if it's true.
End stage: Trump leads an American Crusade to take over muslim-flooded nations.
The entire white world becomes a part of America.
Consider all of us who do not subscribe to that political school
Then consider the number, hardness, and determination of UN troops.
They'd get torn to ribbons for like a week till they withdrew.
the thing you tinfoils don't understand is that the US government is hilariously incompetent when it comes to keeping secrets.
> govt starts hashing up actual conspiracy
> a 12 year old in china hacks into the government network and finds it
> china shouts details of the sooper secrit plan from the rooftops
> govt looks like a bunch of idiots
The idea I got was that it was a subtle strategy to increase the preparedness of American citizens to an invasion.
As if anyone has a need or desire to invade the US. The damage to our economy would ravenously fuck the entire global economy and we don't have significant reserves of any important natural resources that wouldn't be easier to grab from somewhere else.
OP is just mistaking incompetence for malevolence.
when was the last time you did something the government asked you to do?
it's hard enough for them to get people to stop throwing flourescent light bulbs in the dumpster, purchasing firearms that cost hundreds of dollars has to be something people WANT to do
give 1 of these to every native willing to help drive out the mud slums, i like this plan :)
Here are the numbers.
Thank you Obama...
Your theory has a flaw and that's assuming when there is a gun fire sale, everyone is buying guns, not a few that are hoarding them. When there is a gun scare, it's the exact same people that buy, look at that one dude that died claiming he was a secret agent. Had thousands of guns all to himself. So statistically 10,000 guns were sold, does that mean 10,000 armed citizens? No. It meant 1 loony bought them all and now the police have them all. Universal background checks passed in Oregon/Washington and magazine limit laws passed in Colorado. Three states it is now harder to get guns.
Of all the dumbass conspiracy theories ive ever heard, this is by far the most plausible.
