That was an oversight on my part. The only American flag we had was set up at camp no one thought to cut it down and bring it until we were already up at the ridge for the photo.
That mistake has been rectified. Last Midwest NuggetFest group photo has old glory in it. We also created a flag pole out of a tall pine and observed the raising and lowering of The Colors each sunrise and sunset at Midwest NuggetFest a couple weeks ago.
