Been a few days already hasn't it?
My plates came in, so I can finally start training with armor.
While this pleases me, I've discovered I've 2 different kits could use, and I'm going to dedicate this weekend to finding out which one I like more.
I could work with just the RACK. 8 magazines, water, and medical all on the chest, no belt, no sub load bullshit. The big argument for this kit is that it's simple, rifle only. As I've said before, my unit is basic infantry, and we don't get issued sub belts or dump pouches or fancy fucking tacos.
This also carries an amount of ammunition id like to carry out into the field. I know 6+1 is standard, but if shit goes south, 60 more rounds wouldn't hurt me. I'll experiment tomorrow, but I feel that I'm stupid fucking long in the front and that getting prone could become a fucking nightmare.

Or I could use a micro rig+belt. Fewer magazines, smaller medical pouch, and because I'm using tacos, I'd rely on a dump pouch.
It'd be lighter and its closer to what you most of guys and I guess most operators these days use. When I buy a pistol, all I'll need is a holster and it's go right into the set up with room for 3+1 magazines.
I'd like to buy a better belt, and the ao chest rig is not exactly integrating into the pc how I'd like, and I'd really like 6+1 instead of 5+1, but I'm not buying anymore shit until I'm certain this is the style of gear I'd like to use.

It's the same shade as the shadow cast by my hand, and the shadow is not parallel with the leg, meaning I'd have to off pissed my pants in that exact stance.

Looks like an iotv with intergrated cock protector and neck protector and two small plates instead of one big plate, which seems to be a worse system.

the defender plate system i has some pretty attractive benefits. the plates overlap and allow the wearer to more flexibility +looks neat.
But fuck me, I wore big bulky armor once and all I can say is "never again."
What are some good sources to buy medical/first aid equipment? I'm trying to build a med kit.
