I can tell you from personal experience that finding any headgear in a size above 56 is going to be a pain.
As for the boots... The para boots are rare, and those that have them usually know what they have, so don't expect cheap.

There are a few slight variations of the Czechoslovakian ones. Mine is the first model, the M60s. They are dated 1961.

The Yugoslavians had a copy of them, but they are almost completely dried up, only a few Serbs list them once in awhile, and the sizes and conditions are completely random to whatever they could get.

Varus has some mil-tec repro French canvas ones that looked pretty cool, but the khaki ones are sold out, now it's just the black ones.

This seems like the best place to ask this.

Non-import marked 1916 Tula Nagant, wood grips, not refinished. $299. Can probably get $275. Good investment piece, fair market value, or overpaying?

Lockup is tighter than a small European milsurp uniform on a 350 pound autist.
>>
>>27798225

A Peter the Great huh?
Most were converted into M91/30s, if it's an original M91 with the original stock, rear sight, etc. then $275 would be great. Non import marked is a big plus too.

Color wise no, it's a copy of the ARVN "Pinks" brushstroke from Vietnam, on top of that there is a huge variation in coloration of the Filipino version.

The closet thing you could get is the Belgian "congo" brushstroke from the Congo period, although only the trousers are cheap, the smocks are getting uncommon and expensive.
>>
>>27798709

Oh damn, that sucks. A Remington would be a nice one to have.

As for the revolver, I'm not too keen on those, sorry.
Most I could say is look to see if the cylinder matches, the parts are original, also single actions tend to go for a little more.
A friend of mine bought one for $200 but I don't know what year or make his is.

They look sharp, don't require much material, easy to maintain.

Also there's about 50 names for it;
Side cap, overseas cap, bivouac cap, pilotka, Titovka (In Russia and Yugoslavia respectively) flight cap, wedge cap, envelope cap, garrison cap, piss-cutter, cunt cap, bider, vagina cover...

Obviously those few latter names aren't official.

my girlfriend scored a full suit of ACU [pants, parka, shirt for around 5 bucks at goodwill, fits her well, she also scored me what seems to be marpat [can't find the pattern on their website or anywhere else] 5.11 pants which she got for 10 bucks, they still had the tags on them.

I came here to ask if you think those were some good deals? The ACU gear fits her near perfect, and is in awesome condition, looks like no one even wore them.

To be honest, I'm not entirely sure of what pattern they are, I assumed they were marpat, but I'm new to milsurp so I could totally be wrong. On another note these have to be one of the most comfortable pair of pants I have ever worn, they are a size or two big, but they feel awesome, and they have some nice pockets.

Any info on pattern would be appreciated, again they are 5.11 Tactical.

close up of the 5.11 tactical pants, if anyone can point me in the direction of what the pattern is called that would be awesome. I'm guessing that maybe it's a one off run

It's the same pant as this: http://www.511tactical.com/multicam-tdu-pant.html except I can't find info on the pattern anywhere.

Thanks for your help guys, glad she scored the deal on the ACU and you guys confirmed it. I'll get her to model some of her other scores over the next few days, she has found so much shit dirt cheap.
>>
>>27803454
That isn't an undershirt. That is the combat shirt. It is meant to be worn under the body armor, it is also fire retardant. That is worth $20-$25, field jacket around $30 and the pants $10-15.

I own a surplus store, I know what the shit is worth.
>>
>>27803486
damn, then she did well. thanks again!

She also said they had more ACU in small/short sizes there. I might have her go back to buy the rest of it if it's worth that much.

>>27803503
Small Short is the hardest size to sell. It is worth the least of one of the cheapest items of surplus out there. If it fits her she might as well stock up.

I'm sorry that for some reason you believe 55 gallon drums are in any way shape or form hard to get.

Not mine, it's from inside a building at the base in Panama City. There were 3 shelves of different types of masks but I only had time to snap one pic. What's so neat about an m-52?

A good 1950's M9A with the filter and bag goes for about $30-40.

I guess if you bought one you could do a little markup, but does it come with filters and bags?

I guess if they are new in crate that would increase the value.

>>27806040
I think I'm going to buy a crate, try to talk her down a bit. She has 23 crates so I'm willing to bet she is trying to get rid of them fast.

I went milsurp shopping today and the shop I went to had a shirt and pants set of the blue tiger stripe USAF pattern for $35. Is this a good price? I cant find any examples on ebay to compare.
