hello
Let's have a thread where we present newly acquired weapons of mass destruction.
Here is mine:
>$170 psa blem lower with magpul furniture
>$360 upper with 1:7 416r SS barrell and vortex spitfire (one package deal)
>$70 for premium m16 bcg
>$30 for extended latch handle
>$20 in shipping (bought lower and upper separately)
>$660 total (with an optic that costs $300 by itself)
How did i do /K/? This is bb first AR. Be gentle.
Post your stuff
>>27795765
Is this one of your first posts on /k/?
Just curious.
Anyways, the newest thing I got was a Bulgy mak. About a month ago.
>>27795803
No i posted before. Been lurking for a long time. Nice mak. Is it AIM?
>>27795765
No one has ever paid $300 for a Spitfire.
The non-matching furniture/mag and stainless barrel are making my autism twitch, but overall nice rifle, man. Congrats.
Here's my newest AR, complete with some weebshit to make people upset.
Not really new since I got it a couple months back, but it's my most recent anyway.
>>27795852
I just checked on amazon and they sell for 200. Did i get duped? Also I have a ton of mags. the green one was the first one in line (was pretty giddy to take the pic).
Hows the furniture not matching? Its all magpul black.
That looks really nice. Would never pay this much for a rail but that muzzle break does look nice.
Prepare for dump of the same.
>>27795963
Thats a hilarious lower!
Changed out the handguard yesterday, pic not related
Always ready
>>27795991
I like the grip! Hogue? Also what do you think about the mismatch of your furniture? Does that bother you? Just curious
>>27795963
Hopefully this one doesn't flip and turn into a potatoe
>>27796020
The grip is by Ergo, and I don't mind too much. From what I've seen its pretty normal with other people's home builds. That handgaurd came off though, and the new one will be posted right about meow
A prettier pic. The handgaurd is technically the new acquisition, really.
>>27796067
One day i will upgrade to free float and low profile gas block. cool build
Last half decent pic
>>27796092
It's free float, but I think I'll probably spend my next batch of money on a while new upper build desu
>>27795765
Also, nice. Mines right about the same, since I got an aimpoint comp m2 on it. The troy fixed sights I bought are way too loose in the handgaurd, but for the receiver fine, so I had to switch back to the shitty pro-mag flip ups.
I picked up this 1946 FN made Auto 5 a few weeks back.
>>27796239
How are the springs on this one treating you? I heard you have to replace them bc modern ammo
To go with my Delaware CCDW
>>27796204
Thats a bummer. I am still wondering what BUIS i should get. Recommendation. Remember poorfag and not a fan of gucci
>>27796033
Are you a pirate enthusiast/fetishist or something?
>>27796306
Stealthgear AIWB
>>27796260
I replaced the recoil spring but that's it. I planned on replacing more but in order to take the gun apart you need to remove the stock and the screws are completely seized up. Even after soaking them overnight they're still seized and even when using Magna-tips they start getting buggered up with only a little pressure.
I've shot it a little but I'm holding off really going at it until I manage to tear it all down. I'm considering sending it off to an Auto 5 expert to do his thing and look it over and everything rather than me stripping the screws and messing something up.
>>27796340
Love the shield. Will get it one day. Balsy posting your numbers online
>>27796310
Just get magpul buis for like $40-45. Cheapest sight I'd trust.
>>27796353
I can't make them out in that pic. Even if you can you won't be able to do anything with them.
new 10.5 pistol build inprogress still waiting for lower stuff to come in and am gonna have a gunsmith take the sight post off because i suck
>>27796452
Post a picture with you shouldering the brace
>>27796465
fuck off atf
Picked up a 12 gauge Beretta Teknys. Took it out yesterday for some clay practice, definitely happy with it
>>27796480
>>27796489
Looks nice. Why this over citori?
Swiss Schmidt-Rubin 1911 carbine, made in 1917. Pairs nicely with my Swiss Schmidt 1882 ordnance revolver, made in 1918. I'll take some better photos once the rest of the accessories get here. I managed to pick up a bayonet, sling, muzzle cover, six magazine chargers, ammunition pouch and a training charger with six 7.5mm Manipulierpatronen.
>>27796514
Was looking at an o/u, but the price was too high. The only used citori I could find locally was $1200. I noticed the Teknys at a cabelas for $800, went home and researched it, saw they went for $1200-$1600 and had great reviews. Went back the next day and left with it for $700.
>>27796583
Sick combo. Love the hammer on that revolver.
>>27796587
Thats a great deal. Leaning towards O/U due to the class factor. But beretta sure does know how to make a pretty stock
>>27796387
Anything cheaper than magpul BUIS that I will not resight every day? Thoughts? Experiences?
>>27796310
Do what >>27796387 said and get magpul mbus's. They're the cheapest decent flip ups out there. Btw, used comp m2's are the tits,>>27796315
as I have found out.
>>27796651
Hmm. Honestly, there might be? But you'll be hard pressed to find flip ups of decent quality for less than 40 bucks on Amazon. I'd just save up for decent ones.
>>27796620
The M1882 revolver has a nice feature - opening the loading gate disengages the trigger from the hammer. This locks the hammer in place but allows the trigger to rotate the cylinder when pulled. This greatly speeds up the loading and unloading process!
>>27796636
I wanted to keep my budget under $1k but learned quickly that besides rolling the dice on a stoeger, it wasn't a realistic amount
>>27796662
>>27796686
Thanks for the recommendations. Have been looking for mbus but wanted something different. Not that its bad, but i just wanted slightly off the beaten path
>>27796796
Anytime /k/omrade. In all honesty, get what will cowitness best with your front sight base and not pop loose anytime soon. If it does that without loss of accuracy or rapid degradation in cndition, brand is secondary
Picked up a USP compact today.
Feels good man
>>27796583
What was the price tag on the rifle alone?
>>27797636
Noice. Price?
>>27797654
Stupid low because dealer connections.
>>27797640
$325. I came across it at Cabela's of all places. I look through their 'Gun Library' when I stop in but decent prices are few and far between.
I'm out of photos of the K11, so here's a photo of the M1898 Krag. This was another 'recent' purchase. The US Army paired a Norwegian rifle design with a Swiss bayonet design for this one. The US Krag M1892 bayonet is nearly a direct copy of the Swiss M1889 bayonet.
>Murder Kube AR 80% lower w/ lpk from kommandostore for $130, babies first AR
>still figuring out what upper to get thats decent and cheap
