This is a one-day shoot out in a spot we scouted out previously in Panoche Hills.
Here are the particulars:
DATE: November 7th, 2015
TIME: 7:30 AM
ADDRESS: 46378 W Panoche Rd, Firebaugh, in the Subway parking lot.
I don't expect everyone to get up at the asscrack of dawn to get there at 7, but if you're in the area or want to help set up, it'd be great.
DIRECTIONS TO THE SPOT: Drive down W Panoche Rd, past the Subway where we're meeting. Continue down until the road ends. (It turns into private property, there are buildings around.) Turn left onto Panoche Rd proper. Continue driving for approx. two minutes until you see a circular parking lot on the right side overlooking the dry riverbed and a large, flat basin. Pic will be provided.
BULLSHIT: We will be needing tables, chairs, tarps, and food. Two people are confirmed for bringing grills, so charcoal, burgers, hot dogs, and accessories would be welcome. I have a burn permit.
Tannerite, lead, and clays are okay, and although my clay launcher -still- hasn't come in, we should have somebody else arriving with one, trap shooting is still on the menu.
If anybody's scared about getting pinched, for tannerite, I'll mix it for you.
Bring tunes, targets, and trash bags.
(Somebody's also bringing a box of cigars, someone pick up eyepatches for dank memes.)

It's an M&P Shield in .40s&w, so very similar but even smaller. It kicks pretty hard and isn't very accurate with its tiny barrel so it really isn't that fun to shoot, but I can bring it along. The only ammo I have enough of that I can bring and waste are 22lr and my own 9mm handloads (and I am bringing enough 12ga target loads for the amount of clays I have). I really don't want to buy anymore guns and have them registered. Well, I'll bring it then. I do have an assload of ammo for it and I hope everyone else brings more as well. 22lr isn't that hard to find now, and everyone in the south bay should grab cheap (but shit) remshit 22lr from the new bass pro.
And turns out my 303 soft point box is already half shot. I'll bring the remaining 10 rounds I guess, even if I end up not taking the jungle carbine.

We'll see I can only fit so many guns into my cases. And I understand no wanting to shoot up ammo reserve. Before being able to find more 22, I stopped shooting my 10/22 (should I bring?) and buckmark. I'm also reluctant to open any more nugget spam cans (I do have a few hundered loose left I think) or shoot all of my training ammo.

It was sunny and not too hot when I was there yesterday. If your wanting to camp out, the area we are shooting at is a huge open space, so you could set up a tent if thats what you were thinking of doing. If your gonna sleep in your car, you can probably just park your car at the rest stop 20 min away or where the gas stations and food places are at the highway entrance.

look at pic at top of thread with pick up truck, thats the spot. Its the only spot on the right side of the road that is sort of like a plateau. To get to it, drive down the road, you will pass the tumney hills BLM gate on the left with a vinyard or farm on the right side. Keep going down the road for a few minutes and you should see it. Its literally the only spot along the road big enough to fit multiple cars.

I was thinking around late December early january
So im gonna bring a couple of steel pistol targets if anyone wants to aim small and shoot small lmao.
Also gonna bring muh dolly to use as a zero target stand, since I and probably some others might need to zero their shit. Ill bring a sand bag and sleeping mat if anyone wants to shoot prone since im not sure about the table situation and I dont think I can shoot from the bed of my truck at this particular spot since its an elevated plateau type deal.
BTW guys i suck at ALL optics, and require assistance zeroing my aimpoint, because i am literally shit at zeroing any and all optics (iron sight is best sight). Hopefully one of you anons can help me out and give me some tips. And in return ill let you shoot my 307 ; )
