Good evening /k/omrads.
I've recently acquired a Winchester XPR in .270 and now I'm in the market for some ammo.
Here is my situation:
As I said above, rifle is a NIB Winchester XPR.
It came with a Crossfire II 3-9x40 scope.
I'm looking for two types of ammo.
I'd like ammo for plinking/sighting in the scope.
I also need ammo for durr and hog. I'm in the North Texas area if that helps regarding whitetail size.
My plan is to sight in the rifle at 200 yards and reach out no further than 400 yards on any shot.

It's nice. I havent fired it yet, but I loved how it fit. I was also looking at the Axis II XP, but the XPR won out hands down. I cant wait to get it to the range.

anything with a barnes (t)tsx or nosler's hunting bullets.
.270 really benefits from being handloaded due to the large selection of bullet available not made as factory ammunition.
