Malaysian Air MH17 confirmed to be shot down with Russian made missle.

This is what happens when you arm the rebel backwoods Russian separatists.

>In the report, the Dutch Safety Board says the weapon used was a 9N314M-model warhead carried on the 9M38M1 missile, as installed on the Buk surface-to-air missile system.
>It adds that the type of fragments found in the wreckage and bodies of crew members in the cockpit were bow-tie or cube shaped - only found in the 9N314M warhead.

Yup, they discovered a whole new plane (Su-25 that is able to go supersonic at 45000ft), a new AA missile (R-60 which is all aspect and have a BVR capabilities) and a whole new laws of physics (explosion in the front of a plane will first destroy its rudder).

So, bussiness as usuall for the good 'ol russian propaganda.

Yes, but the Ukr military still uses warheads from the commie era, while the BUK warhead that rekt MH17 was a newer variant.

IMO the most likely scenario is that "rebel" BUK was informed by Russian radars about Ukrainian An-26 in their sector, so once they caught big fat plane on their radar, they didn't waste time to confirm target, as they were positive it's transport they were told about

Was not. The BUK manufacturer pointed out that newer warheads in use by Russian military use double T shrapnel configuration, which leaves butterfly-like holes. Ukraine still uses the older warheads, which leave "machinegun-like" holes.
>>
>>27565486

Are you talking about the pattern or the actual hole shape?

If its the pattern that would change with the orientation of the missle and the plane.
>>
>>27563412
>the Netherlands flag
what the fuck did they do to our flag...
>>
>>27565492
What are you talking about? Everyone was raging about cannon holes.

> The experiments were carried out on July 31 and October 7 with the help of 9N314M BUK missile warheads, which are currently deployed by the Russian military. The results of the tests “decisively indicate” that an explosion from such a missile leaves a distinctive “butterfly-shaped” puncture holes due to the shape of the shrapnel, Almaz-Antey, the manufacturer of Buk air defense missile complexes, said.

> “The Boeing 777, which carried out the flight, did not have a single hole like this and as a consequence, this absolutely excludes the possibility of a missile with double T-shaped shrapnel being used to strike this aircraft,” Almaz-Antey stressed in a statement on Wednesday, following the final report of the Dutch Safety Board that looked into the causes of the crash.

Ok, you are talking about the holes itself.

Yes, if you watch the video they did find bowtie (or butterfly, same idea) shaped shrapnel inside of the plane and bodies of the pilots/crew.

There are some, but I doubt there would be. You are talking about fragments travelling at 2x the speed of sound or faster when they hit the plane. The holes in the planes they would create would be much large than their actual shape.

This is why the russian experiment is fucking stupid and done for idiots that have no idea how physics works. Popping a warhead on the ground while static is stupid. The warhead hit the 777 while going mach 2 at 33k feet. The damage would be radically different. They didn't even pressurize the plane. Are Russians really this stupid?

The BUK manufacturer is 100% owned by the Russian government. Would you believe a corporation who "did a test" to prove they weren't responsible for some horrific tragedy, and simply take their word for it? I sure as shit wouldn't. That's not how this shit works.

Hate to sound tinfoil but the mnost telling part of this is teh USAF not showing satellite data or imagery of this "rebel" BUK system. Ukraine and the Russian border was watched extremely closely. You'd think all the tanks our satellites saw crossing into Ukraine would also spot the BUK that launched and it's missing missle. Add into that USAF satellites that are made to detect rocket launches and artillery fire and it's clear there are proofs that the US doesn't want to disclose.

>>27567397
Bullshit. First of all, OPSEC has always decreed that the full capability and scope of surveillance is never revealed. They didn't release their intel on KAL007 either.

Secondly, it would not affect Russian response one degree; they would just scream louder about the nefarious EU/NATO/US conspiracy/clay grab/whatever bullshit their slinging this week.

Thirdly, simple forensic evidence from the crash is more than enough to point the way for anyone with half a brain and access to a news site that is not RT.
>>
>>27562914
So there's no conclusive evidence who did it. Both sides had Buks, both were in the area firing them, and the shrapnel correlates with a missile used by both sides.

Doesn't change the fact Ukraine and Russia are to blame for ruining themselves and killing 300 good people.

Well the altitude they were flying at was safe from MANPADS (which stop being useful around 15k ft), but there's no plane that can fly high enough to avoid a Buk.

Really I see this as just a huge shitty situation that's only being made worse by Russia's denial of the whole thing. Nobody seriously believes that whoever did this (Russia or the rebels) deliberately and maliciously downed the airliner. But they're doing everything in their power to spread denial and bullshit as if the whole world is out to get them, and it's only going to make things worse in the long term.

Spy satellite coverage isn't nearly as good as you'd expect. The time between overflights is pretty long and very, very predictable. Gotta love how no matter what, it always comes down to the victim narrative for Slavs. They're always the victim, ever the oppressed. The hilarious thing is that they're so busy assfucking themselves, they forgot to notice that no one has oppressed them that wasn't an actual Slav government official since WWII.

Slavs will always be most efficient at making victims of Slavs, thus upping the victimhood feels. It's victonception.

I read the whole report. They didn't mention that anywhere.

Based upon previous threads about this, the Ukrainians have a few of those missiles as well.

Finally the Dutch board would have said "The Russian Armed Forces are the only users of this missile, though this does not necessarily mean they are the culpable."

Whoah so that leaves only Russian army, Ukrainian Separatists and Ukrainian Army as those that might be responsible for it.

How does Russia being the only users of the missile not translate to its origination with them? What, are you suggesting that the Ukies performed some sort of masterstroke false flag material capture operation while their entire country has fallen to pieces?

No. Occam's Razor clearly points to a Russian supplied missile fired by an Eastern Ukrainian crew. Especially considering the social media boasting they did about it right after the shot.

The fact that the missile came from a rebel area isn't good enough for them.

The fact that the Russians had been shooting down aircraft for months and the Ukrainians hadn't shot down any isn't good enough for them.

Now a third party investigation saying it was a Russian missile isn't good enough for them.
>>

It rules out an air-to-air missile strike which was the primary Russian theory saying it was the Ukrainians.

On a side note, they found one passenger with an oxygen mask on. Must have been in the back. Not to make fun of them cause I'd do the same, but "damn front of the plane just blew up and we're in a fireball spiraling to earth, better put on the mask!" I think it was pretty clear from the beginning that it was seps that blew it out of the sky.

It was a fucking accident, this shit happens with airliners all the fucking time, the only thing I don't understand is why they backpedal so hard away from the issue. They couldn't have known it was an airliner from looking at a tiny blip on the screen, and they purportedly shot down transports and shit at that altitude, it makes sense that they fucked up, and they should take the heat for it and have it pushed under the rug instead of drawing it out and keeping it fresh in everyone's memory.
>>
>>27568206
At the point of being able to get a mask on, he would have seen that first the cockpit, then business class, then most of coach had separated from the tail section he was sitting in. Effectiveness implies forethought. Any forethought at all would reveal that there was no controlled flight possible on that aircraft, followed by a lack of need for the oxygen mask, as they would descend more than fast enough to obviate the need. The oxygen mask is for when you need to stay at and then slowly descend from 30k feet. If you're dropping like a stone, the air is just fine to keep you conscious long before you pass out (remember, they have climbed Everest without oxygen).

The point of the report was only to figure out what downed the plane. They specifically avoided anything that could be construed as assigning blame because something with the laws means that the crash investigators aren't allowed to determine who was actually at fault. Assigning the blame is up to whoever is in charge of the criminal investigation.
>>
>>27568263
>I'm saying that if this was so obvious the Dutch would point out that only Russia has this missile.
They did. They pointed out that only Russia ever operated the missile. Ukraine does have missiles for their BUK launchers, clearly. They just do not have 9N314M warheads. There are many different missiles for the BUK system.

We get it, you don't like Russians, but stop and think for a moment. I doubt that the seps did this because they wanted to kill civilians, they're not ISIS.
