What do you think of it? Been wanting to get one because I love cowboy movies and shit like that.

Single action, meaning slow ROF, unless you "cowboy" with them.
Reloading time is, to quote certain fictional gunslinger, totally "exhilarating!", since you can't just flip out the cylinder like with modern 'volvers. So you better not get into long firefights with one.

Sure. you could hunt fairly lightweight with it to conserve calories.
It would only be good for Inna woods oper8ing, though; not in an urban shtf scenario.
Personally, I have a single six in my pack because it can shoot 22 magnum, 22 lr, long, and short. I would only use this for hunting small game though. A slingshot would arguably do the job.

I have a Redhawk and it's possibly my favorite gun. That being said, almost every other gun I have would serve better as a HD or SHTF gun.
I have one, it's fucking awesome. I use it for a bear/hog defense gun when I'm working on the ranch or hiking/camping.
