I already have some of the civil defense stuff that also penetrates IIIA, but doesn't penetrate very far.
Thoughts guys?
Carrying/ shooting in a Beretta 92A1 (and yes I have test fired it, it works great, it's just louder and recoils softer)
Is this stuff legal? I have no idea what defines an armor piercing round or what the ATHF decides to ban.

The Civil defense is, it's just 50 grains of nickel coated copper, and they already know about, it's only "AP" because at 50 grains its pushing 2000fps. I fear that the national defense is LEO only because it actually advertises being "AP"

if your worried about trying to defeat armor with a pistol i think its time to step up to a rifle. seriously if your in a situation shooting at guys that have armor on with a handgun your pretty much fucked anyways and need to try to escape or get to a rifle.
