Can fellow /k/ommandos give me recommendations for winter jacket and trousers?
Sizes must suit people thin and large, short and tall. No euro sizes (48, 50, 52, 54 etc. taller=fatter and shorter=thinner) and no one letter sizes (M, L, XL etc.)
I was thinking about pic related.
There are dozens of outdoor clothing companies making better items then mil-surp and with the added benefit of not looking like an autist.

Why would someone look autistic wearing that? You don't even have a clue where those will be worn and how. My god people are stupid.

My large/regular parka has height: 67-71" and chest: 41-45" on the tag. Bit big for me, but I'm Mr.Skellington at 5'10 just under 160.
Armpit zippers are dope as fuck.

Finland. Looking for practical clothing for innawoods, survival training and shooting range winter conditions. I've been using BDU and DPM clothing for summer and spring/autumn use. So far they have been pretty good. Hard to find sizes though. I am Large-Regular and my fiancee is Small-Short. I am using ALICE for gear.
I'm ex-finnish military but I don't want to wear our old uniforms and wearing the new uniform is prohibited for current reservists. That is the reason I've been using uniforms and gear mostly from USA and some from UK.
Also I did make a thread to /out/ too.

Do you have the BDU or ACU parka?

Forgot pic, I've got the shell and cold weather in woodland. My cold weather is a small long and is a little tight with a couple layers.

You know you can be perfectly camoflaugededed in the winter woods with a nice Carhartt right? Not everything needs to be mil-spec, or whatever, besides, my Carhartt type winter jackets have always been more durable then my winter parkas.

Auto rotated it of course, that's the shell in large/regular. In that pic. Not taking a pic in the cold weather right now but here's the tag with measurements
>>27535204
Where did you get them and what is the manufacturer?

You know nobody really gives a fuck?

Thrift stores, being active duty puts you near lots of shitty pawn shops and thrift stores full of the crap. Not very helpful for you finbro. Not much around my current base either or I'd say I'll mail you some. If you leave an email to get ahold of you I'll keep an eye out for stuff in your sizes.
This stuff was mostly worthless when i had my issue TA-50, and after i got out. I discovered why when i worked with an old boy who had once worked at the company were they made this crap. he was one of the people who was suppose to tape the seams. well to make a long story short his nickname was "Quaalude"
(popular 1980's animal tranquilizer).

Thanks bro.

If you want to tell me about active duty service I would sure like to hear more. I tried to enlist myself but no branch would sponsor me a green card. They stopped doing so in 2006 if I remember correct and I tried to enlist in late 2008 the first time.

I am actually considering getting a N-3B parka for hunting this winter. Those coats are outrageously warm. Is the ECWCS coat and trousers warmer?
I also have an m-65 from rothco and I'm considering making a wool liner for it. Does anyone know if there is a polartec liner that buttons in?

Carhart jackets can't really be topped without blowing loads of cash
