>As if the political cartoons on our side are much better
Political cartoons use hyperbole and appeals to emotion while oversimplifying issues, ignoring or making fun of the opposing side rather than confronting it and refuting it, and being poorly drawn and unfunny.

Political cartoons are for people who don't want to make decisions for themselves and their creators are scum for profiting from a venture which contributes absolutely nothing to society.

The suicide one is kind of true, I think it's something like one in five or one in three gun-related deaths are suicides. A lot of the time, if a person doesn't have a convenient way of committing suicide, then they won't. It sounds like bullshit but I promise it's true; the vast majority of the time even a minor inconvenience is enough to stop a person from killing themselves.

Meanwhile the ATF ruled recently that Trusts weren't persons, so they unintentionally opened up a loophole for newly manufactured machine guns.

What's more is they approved quite a few of the Form 1's people sent in, and a few people made MGs already.

>The NRA likes to talk about its work as the defense of American freedom. Recognize that, depending on the audience, both sides of the debate have the opportunity to claim moral authority. But, don’t yield that ground. Fight for it by emphasizing that a reckless disregard for the gun violence that plagues so many people’s lives is morally bankrupt and doesn’t have anything to do with protecting freedom.

>Examples of powerful language:
>It breaks my heart that every day in our country (state or city) children wake up worried and frightened about getting shot.”
>Just imagine the pain that a mother or father feels when their young child is gunned down.”

Depends on the situation. If it's a sporting jersey (or shirsey) or 'kit', you can reasonably go either way. I can understand me owning a James Shields Jersey for example, or one made with my own name. But if it was just a standard shirt? I['d probably lean with it saying "Doug"

non-legal-jargon fag here.
>>
>>23150693
It's essentially a separate entity that is used to deal with the ATF on NFA items.

It's its own separate sort of thing. It's not a person, a corporation, or anything. It's a trust.

The thing is, i think this is intentional, and works out best for everyone.

1) richfags and investment fags want the new machine guns. They want F/A scars. They want F/A new manufacture m16 lowers, ect. They need a way to loophole them in.

2) Poorfags want more older shit on the market, and they want a it a little more cheap.

so, my college is scheduled to have a lockdown today. they are requesting that everyone on campus "conceal" themselves. I think it's fairly obvious that it's a simulation of what to do in the event of a shooter on campus. the whole idea of being forced under my desk to think about the possibilities really bugs me. it feels like fear mongering. I've decided not to participate. I'm hoping that campus police doesn't take issue with it, but I'm prepared to stand my ground if they do. I just don't want to contribute to the culture of fear regarding what is such an incredibly rare situation.

any advice?

Recently some faggot who owns a bunch of F/As and didn't want their value to plummet reported this shit to the ATF because he has friends who worked there.

Since then, the ATF has been rejecting all Form 1's for MGs within a few days, and sending out letters to people who have gotten their Form 1 approved to send it back, essentially "because we said so."

Form 1's used to take months to get approved or denied, but they've upped their shit recently and the Form 1's aren't being sent to the standard people who evaluate them.

There's a pro-2nd amendment law firm that's been getting everyone who has sent in Form 1s to contact him, and especially those who have had their Form 1's approved, and super especially the ones who have used the tax stamp to make an MG already.
He's getting prepared to file a lawsuit against the ATF in regards to the full-auto ban being unconstitutional, and he's also going to be challenging the Constitutionality of the NFA in general.

Op's pic is just repeating the same thing over and over. Four of the six "facts" are the same suicide stats viewed from different perspectives.

Yes it is true that in America guns are the preferred suicide tool. 49% use guns compared to 38% that chose hanging. The remainder use pills or poison.

In Japan jumping in front of trains occurs 1500% more often than it does in America. They also use dangerous homebrew chemicals (H2S, chlorine gas, etc) far more often than Americans. Train suicides disrupt commuters and chemical gas methods endanger neighbors and rescue workers.

Rather than ban trains, Japan brought in legislation that would fine the families of victims for the disruption the suicides caused. These fines are costly enough to shame the potential suicide victim into choosing another method.

tl;dr

Guns are more popular tools for suicide just like guns are more popular than shovels when it comes to killing your wife. The real question should be "why are people killing themselves or killing their wives in the first place"?

> "Why do you have an AK in your car?"

> "Do you really need it, though? Really?"
> "Nope. No more than you 'need' to vote, receive an education, have freedom from unreasonable searches or any of the other rights guaranteed you by the Constitution."

> "Obviously, you've never heard of the Nazi Party."
