You know, if you think of it, Brutes are really just the covenants carpenters.

They carry nailguns, hammers, and saw things.
Hell, their first vehicle comes straight from farm equipmnt.

>>
>>22770904

If you noticed the purple blobs on the ground (in the Flood containment center set up by the Forerunners on Halo), those are its' "ammunition". I wouldn't doubt that it loads from the bottom of it, below the grip, and then fed through the top through the grip and through some cheese grater like thing to give it it's shape. It's probably viscous enough to handle to get into the Needler, then it probably converts it into useful purple pointy things before being shot.

spartans are biological and mechanical augmented, without the armor they have been known to shatter bone in one punch, their own bones have been infused with high strength ceramic and are able to use all of their muscle capability instead of 1/3 like normal humans can, the armor is made of a high strength titanium alloy that further increases the spartans strength to be able to lift 3 times their weight minimum, with them weighing half a ton total

They do, they just go out of their way to make it as stupid as possible, some guns have reversed recoil so it gets more accurate the longer you hold down the trigger, some guns rather than reloading them you throw them and they explode like a grenade then another one with a full mag materializes into your hands

thats because the elites have a very similar armor, the spartans were created before the covenant invaded and were used just for higher risk military operations, but when the covenant came they were re-purposed and refitted with new armor that was improved by reverse engineering elite armor which is where the energy shield came from

Unless you play Anarchy Gaige, then your guns hold less ammo, but reload faster. It's based on percentage, so just in case your gun only holds 1 round like some Jakobs shotguns do, and you now have a gun with an ammo capacity of 0.

Also, you will be able to miss people right infront of you while killing people you can't even see with the ricochet.

Team fortress 2 minigun has some of the worst accuracy imaginable.

The guns in farcry 2 have no durability at all. Every enemy's gun works fine for them, but is a pile of rust the moment you touch it. Guns jam consistently then eventually blow up. Gold AKM will remedy this of course.

The "ar16" was a good attempt at the blood diamond colt CAR-15 but pretty far off still

Prefer Vladof, the ones that are just space AKs without too much fancy stuff. Doesn't matter if the individual shot doesn't do a lot of damage when you have 280-400 stacks, what matters is the shit tons of bullets going everywhere. Just mouse1+W in their general direction.

Also space AK.

Jakobs revolvers, Bandit launchers, Vladof assault rifles, Bandit/Torgue/Jakobs/Hyperion shotguns, Dahl sniper rifles and Hyperion or Maliwan smgs. But anything works with anarchy mechros.

Dont want to get into a nerd fight but the spartans were intended to be the best soldiers ever raised and molded to be loyal to the cause whatever it may be. They were trained to live and breathe war. The only thing they got from the elites that was added to the armor was improved shields. They had they're own shields WAY before hand. Which were perfectly fine against kinetic weaponry that humans use.

Cortana choose chief as her protector and she felt that she could reach maximum potential by being his partner. 6 was just the best guy for the dangerous job of getting her to the pillar.
>>

Considering "That Gun" is a reference to Harrison Ford's gun in Blade Runner I too love it.
>>
>>22774409
We already had this convo. Emile died like a bitch and was the token minority. He had the lowest confirmed kills AND the lowest confirmed ingame kills. The pseudo-spartans do better and the marines in cut scenes did better. His showboat attitude and emotional instability lead to him getting backstabbed.

It's canon other Spartans have survived reentry without the use of a reentry pack though.

It also happened on Reach. A Pelican with a group of Spartans got shot down during reentry and they all jumper for it. IRC one or two died and the rest were fucked up but still able to fight.

i thought it is that every super soldier which chief is one, im pretty sure odst is not, fucking 400lb all muscle 7'+ all had AIs made for them aka cortana, to have a mind and thought/guidance/morals to go with the supersoldier killer they fabricated. 6 was just the means of getting cortana to the soldier she was matched with, master chief, and just through reality chief would kick 6's ass, but from human bravery, 6 does the same shit as chief with no mjolinr armor or supersolder genes

who else /cried when cortana died/

>6 does the same shit as chief with no mjolinr armor or supersolder genes
6 is wearing the same mjolinr armor the Spartan IIs get, and the narrow gene requirements were only for maximum compatibility with the augments.

By the time the Spartan III program got started, the augmentations were safer and could be used on a wider spectrum.

The Casual SWORDSPLOSION is the best variant, gets a bonus to projectiles fired so you get three swords that explode into smaller swords that explode, instead of just one.

Man it's space. You can build whatever you damn well like.
>>
>>22775292
You are very misinformed with the Spartan III program.
http://www.halopedia.org/Project_CHRYSANTHEMUM

Spartan IIIs were recruited from children orphaned by Covenant attacks, which there were a lot of. They still had to meet some genetic requirements, but the augments had been made much safer and refined after studying what went wrong the first time around so the genetic requirements weren't nearly as extreme. Not to the extent they could inject anyone off the street with them, but still much better than what the Spartan IIs were put though.

They were given improved versions of all the same augments Spartan IIs got, in that regard they are superior. But they are considered expendable because they aren't outfitted with the powered armor, which was by far the most expensive part of the Spartan II program.

Not once you get space elevators up and running, transporting materials into orbit becomes trivial. Or in the case of the covenant have gravity lifts to haul everything up

You would need massive ones consuming more energy than a planet could possibly sustain producing, all to make a shitty, vulnerable ship full of unnecessarily large pressurized areas.
>>

wait, is someone makeing these, cause do want.
>>
>>22776275
The UNSC has cheap as fuck fusion reactors, and the covenant has millennia old alien technology powered by who knows what. Energy isn't really a concern for either of them.

UNSC ships also aren't very big at all, and Covenant ships are mostly solid metal. The actual "interior" is much smaller than the overall size would suggest.

Where are the radiators?
No visible forward retro rockets. No evidence of a "turn and burn" in practice.
Artificial gravity? Why? Seems like it'd be much more efficient to have the decks oriented along the axis of thrust.

And don't even get me started on the Orbital Defense Platforms...

The wing things on the sides are radiators of some kind apparently. While they aren't identfiable in the game models, the books mention retro rockets and maneuvering thrususters all over. Artifical Gravity is a bit of an inconsistentcy. In the early books the UNSC had no artificial gravity, used rotating sections on bigger ships, and later stole artificial gravity plates from the covenant. Now they seem to have always had it.

What is wrong with the orbital defense platforms?
