Nothing big really, both stories are legit but its not good manners to brag about it in public so you have to go to the army records for physical proof.

I have never heard of this ever, so after using teh google I see that a dozen US fighter bombers then took over swedens air space for the next 3 hours with impunity.

Submarine part are from when the Americans rented a Gotland-class submarine.

I don't know what the big deal is either, that book by one of the SR-71 pilots says that they were regularly locked onto and just outran the missiles. The Sled wasn't a stealth aircraft, it was just fast.

The SR-71 was a first gen stealth aircraft. The SAF never had any ambition to shoot the SR-71, rather the missile locks was just to show that they could lock on to it. Sort of the equivalent of pinging a foreign submarine.
There is even an incident where one engine blew up over the baltic and the SR-71 was escorted by Viggens to Nordholz in Germany.
These never fails to entertain me.

Britain spent every penny it had on fighting WW1, and it had not recovered economically before WW2 broke out. Not really true, but as the country had been ravaged by previous invasions (also by the swedes), the country was very divided and the only reason the war lasted so long was russian aid.
Funny thing is that Sweden did more damage to Poland during the deluge than the nazis did during WWII. Poland lost a third of its population and was pretty much completely looted and Warsaw was levelled with the ground.
