"Operation Market Garden" General, who was unjustly scapegoated by Montgomery.
Eternal anglos always picked on Poles. They even do it now, forgetting about all the mudslimes and sharia zones.
He was an amazing general. During one of the assaults in market garden he asked Brits for 5 tanks to aid the assault, he only got one. So he found some woman bicycle and told the tankers to follow him.

There's much less picking on Poles now to be honest, the 'picking' has shifted to Romanians, Gypsy looking people, Middle Easterners, Poles are pretty much ok (a great compliment in the UK) now.
I must admit I had to correct an idiot I'm acquainted with who thought the Poles owed us for WWII, had to point out that we never set foot in Poland, they fought at D-day with us, during the Battle of Britain, at Monte Casino etc etc
I mean the highest scoring Hurricane Squardron during the Battle of Britain was Polish (No. 303 Polish Fighter Squadron).

he should have been better at the aristocracy game and had buddies to protect him.
The royal family only plays freckles with the ardests cunts m8

Speaking as an American, the Poles did a lot in WWII and are still under-recognized for their sacrifice.

Complete degenerate and cuck.

Maybe Monty suspected they were long lost brothers and hated him for it.

Care to explain?

He was just jelly that Sosabowski was way better

And their subsequent 50 years stuck under the Soviet thumb. If I was Polish, I'd be pissed at a lot of things, too.
america LOVES polish generals

>everyone talks a bit shit about the French resistance in USA history classes
>it barely even existed
>Poles fought and died in large number in and out of Poland, breaking codes, passing intel, sabotaging
>Poland who?
>>30442449
Is this the guy that said "God Bless General Montgomery" in that sardonic tone before he made the jump , because Montgomery had been waffling all morning about where the Poles would be dropped?
>>30443257
And let's not even talk about Max Manus or the other Norwegian resistance fighters.
The complex position of Finland (probably one of the more politically interesting story of the late 30's and early 40's) isn't even mentioned.

So much this.

>a bit shit

Fucking truth. The Pulaski monument in Baltimore is fuckin badass

That's... really awesome. Damn.
Poles have an important role in the US history, so where did that polack hate come from?
>>30446958
>so where did that polack hate come from?
Probably a legacy of the backlash to late 19th/20th century mass immigration from Europe. WASPs didn't trust Roman Catholics, Slavs, or poor people - the Poles were all three.

>Probably a legacy of the backlash to late 19th/20th century mass immigration from Europe. WASPs didn't trust Roman Catholics, Slavs, or poor people - the Poles were all three.
There was also the lasting legacy and conflict between the eastern Europeans/Poles and US Jews over the 19th century pogroms. People tend to forget that the holocaust didn't start the Jewish mass immigration to the US, western Europe and Palestine. The 19th century pogroms kicked that off. Jews in large numbers were living more or less in harmony and cooperation with their Muslim neighbors in Palestine from the late 1800's on.
The whole muh joos, muh slavs, muh nazis, muh muslims memes tend to gloss over and reduce a lot of very complicated history into very small and contextually worthless chunks for retards.

The Germans were very thorough when it came to cataloguing their own "work".
Kinda hard to deny something you so efficiently recorded.

Warsaw uprising was pretty fucking heroic too. My great grandfather made explosives and helped mine railways for the Polish resistance.
