It's exposed so I can easily fuck with the gas block without removing the BCM KMR handguard.
The light is indeed huge, but I get damn good run-time and like 1,100 lumens (lights up 100 meters of field easily), LED bulb, the only part to watch out for is the end-cap, it's probably not durable enough for serious use.
The anti-rotation pins are because the regular pins I previously used got nicks and dings in them, the anti-rotation pins won't rotate because of nicks and dings, it will keep a consistent trigger-pull. People don't realize how important the trigger and hammer pins are for a good trigger pull. I would buy them again in a heart-beat.
Yeah the cable management is shit, easy to fix though.
