I think you might be mistaking www.nuggetfest.com for The Crimson Caravan LLC website. The NuggetFest website doesn't have anything for sale on it, just a redirect to the actual Crimson Caravan website on one of the back pages.
www.nuggetfest.com is for posting event dates and general information about NuggetFest, not advertising products or whatnot.
I've been hit with bans in the past myself, I'm not immune to moderation but I've learned from those mistakes. That's partly why you don't see my linking to the actual store website. I don't have any inside connections or anything exciting like that. I'm just one dude trying to help fund free meetups for Firearms hobbyists and Outdoor enthusiasts while providing relevant gear and paraphernalia requested by the same crowd.
I'm not trying to sway your opinion nor do I expect or care if you believe me. I've laid out the truth with complete transparency and what you do with that information is neither my business, my concern, or my responsibility. I am the host, brother. I'm CreepFinder, I just use two different trips to differentiate questions and conversations between the store and the meetups. And yes, NuggetFest has always been and always will be free as I've always absorbed the cost of hosting without ever passing it on to /k/.
I don't often bring it up without being asked, but I've probably spent well over $5000 over the last 3 years just for NuggetFest. Renting leases, campsites, ranges, on gas, gear, spray paint, caution tape, range flags, shovels, saws, pickaxes, etc and providing free meals, safety glasses, ear protection, clay pigeons and ammunition for attendees as well as the stuff I give away in the free raffles. Others have also donated ammo and money as well as helped out and donated great amounts of their time volunteering and helping out with different aspects like cooking, range safety and general cleanup, for which I am eternally grateful.
I'm not trying to guilt trip anyone or coerce you fine folks into giving me your shekels, or make you feel sorry for me. I made those decisions myself and I don't regret them for a moment. You asked me a question and this is the answer.
