Which state has the loosest gun, hiking, and outdoor shooting laws?
>>29124978
Here is Georgia the firearm laws are pretty good. I've gone hiking a couple hundred miles into the AT Trail with a 45. on my hip and a 22. on my pack, And no forest services or Rangers have said anything.
Also its so rural here in the north east part of GA out here that everyone just shoots in the forests, or on their own land and until you hit a city like Gainsville etc. nobody says anything.
I want to go more into the AT trail with full bug-out kit sometime in the future but i'de need at...

>loosest gun, hiking, and outdoor shooting laws?
Hopefully this was misread but it sounds like you just want to go tear up a bunch of public land, litter and leave a giant mess to ruin it for other hikers and people trying to /out/.
I'm willing to make that assumption and fuck you.

Alaska.
Alright /k/. Help me choose,

The mak is $300
pic related
Tok, kevlar won't stop it.
>>29124649
i'd say makarov cuz i like compact pistols
Is j&g sales a good place to buy from? They have romanian toks for $220.
if you were sneaking into a facility or trying to kidnap/takedown someone, would a tranquilizer gun work fast enough on targets so that they don't realize your position and report you before knocking out?
>>29123831
No, better off with a hushpuppy
>>29123831
no, you're a faggot
what if you tased them and shot them with the tranquilizer? like if it was all one gun? that way they are incapacitated and then knocked out.
Looking for an 8 gun safe thats under $450. Currently have 4 long guns and 2 handguns but will definitely get a couple more long guns. Needs space for the handguns and ammo as well, preferably at the top. What say you /K/unts?
>>29123455
you are not going to get anything worth a shit under a few thousand dollars. hide whatever you buy very well
>>29123455
What crossed your mind to think that calling us "/K/unts" was the proper way to ask a question that you could have googled in five seconds? Get the fuck out, and don't come back.
>>29123455
I got a nice safe for 500 bucks
liberty safes
go to a gander mountain or cabellas, look at the safes, dont get the shitty thin ones, go to a different store, look at the safes, decide on keypad or combo, buy a safe from the store
So I would have put this in the AR containment thread but it's normally too austistic there to get a decent reply. I'm looking at getting a Colt LE6920. Talk to LGS guys and it's either "the golden standard" of ARs or its trash. Some guy even went into how their metallurgy is fucked on it somehow. So what's the real skinny on it?
>>29123157
It is the standard, plain and simple. Nothing more, nothing less, unless QC took a hit on the specific rifle you bought, yet again that can happen to anyone of any manufacture.
>>29123179
Then why the clambering for all the snowflake rifles made by some company with a weird rollmark? This will be my first ar15, but it seems to me everybody would sooner suggest noveske or bcm
>>29123157
>is it a bad rifle?
Nope. I mean you have just as much chance of getting a lemon as anyone else, but overall they're pretty good.
>should I buy one?
Nope. You should build your AR. You can build a much nicer one than the Colt for the Colts price.
Thread about non-standard concealment methods for firearms.
>hollow books
>cigarette packs
>nut huggers
>under the sink
>tackle boxes
>bras
Post any and all. Guns for odd concealment, odd places, odd tools. Whatever.
I thought pic related was cool. Not practical for carrying but cool.

not all of us are from the East Coast.
I hollowed out a copy of The Bourne Supremacy and rotate out my .38spl and Glock26 hidden in it
Why don't we see more instances of gatling guns being mounted on ground-based fighting vehicles? This Chinese light armored vehicle has a 30mm gatling gun. Why doesn't the USA make a Stryker variant with a GAU-13/A to counter it? Seems like it would be a perfect fit. But more generally, why aren't gatling guns more popular for IFV's and such? Just imagine the psychological impact that such a vehicle would have on the opposition.

Wheeled apc's are not combat vehicles
>>29122432
Then why is the US army up-gunning all the Strykers with 30mm and Javelins?
>>29122509
In what situation would you need the higher RPM?
Do you guys have the rest of these?
Hickock go to bed, we know you have a sponsor from federal.
There's ammo tier lists?
>>29122409
I have shot hundreds of perfecta 7.62x51 and never had an issue with accuracy or errors when compared to federal, or any other, standard m80 ball ammo.
Met a girl at college, and she seems pretty cool. Likes the outdoors and art. Pretty cool girl. She's asked me about what I'm into and we've been on a few dates. I told her I'm really into shooting as a hobby. She said "Oh, I've never shot a gun before.". When I said I could take her out sometime she said "I'd love to but I'm kind of afraid of guns. I DON'T HATE THEM OR ANYTHING!, I'm just worried I'd hurt myself or someone else by accident if I was ever handed one."
I told her that if she ever was...

You have to ease the idea into her first ;^)
>>29122379
Start small OP.
Get her to enjoy the target shooting aspect first, then the curiosity of larger guns will come naturally over time.
Just don't hand her a .45 or some large caliber, If she's already nervous about It, then scaring her will surely ruin your chances of turning her to the dark side.
>>29122454
fuck off lol
Thinking of getting a Nagant Revolver. Took a stroll through Wikipedia but does anyone have any personal experience with it? Is it worth it?
>>29122369
Heavy trigger, prone to misfires, ammo is kinda pricey, and inaccurate as fuck. Perfect for removing fascists. Get one if you're looking for some historic value and they are fun to shoot. Being able to add a suppressor is a plus
I have shoot two separate one. Its a cool little gun. the action is little unique. its worth getting one for like the 50 dollars that were paid for the ones I shoot. Go to a place with a whole case and sort threw many to find one that seems the best,
as a gun its a pile of shit
as a mechanical novelty its worth whatever amount you are willing to pay
My local gun range got closed down today.
http://www.contracostatimes.com/breaking-news/ci_29582846/chabot-gun-range-votes-draws-almost-500
>your range is polluting with lead
>okay we'll raise rates to pay for the lead cleanup
>NOT GOOD ENOUGH FUCK YOU
I feel sick to my stomach
>>29121453
guess your club should have fixed its fucking issues before polluting the earth we stand on and the water we drink.

New England meet up? Specifically there was talk a while ago about a VT or NH meet up.
I'm in New Hampshire. I would go but I'm Nogunz

Come to Maine like around the Kingfield Phillips strong and Avon arena
My fellow lefties, what guns do you carry? Do you find it necessary to use a slide release? How do you like them?
I want my first handgun to be a Sig P250 subcompact:
>Ambi slide release
>Reversible magazine release
> $400 >
But I've seen a few anons on here say that their shit, but everything I've read and seen on youtube are to the contrary?
>>29120497
It's a slide catch. If you use it out of competition, you're a cuck.
>literally anything but a Glock
>even the gen4s are reversible if you're too autistic to use your index finger
I use my index finger to drop the magazine on most pistols I own. I also rack the slide instead of using the slide release.
Carry a SIG P232 so a safety isn't an issue either.
>>29120497
Based Ian carries a Glock.
What first aid kit do you carry? Had an ifak in the 'Stan but is that the best option for my shtf load. Are there better options? All this in a scenario where our group Doc makes it to the ORP.
>>29120421
Your going to die of sepsis even if they do get the bullet out of you. Infection risks are very very high if you do not have access to higher medical care. We have sterile OR rooms, and all this technology, we even have sterile gauze and sterile everything prepackaged for our emergency health services as well, and somehow we still spend billions of dollars on sepsis and other such infections yearly. If you have limited funds for SHTF focus it somewhere else. If you want a trauma kit for all sorts of scenarios not...

I like Med pouches where all the items are on a "card" held in by bungee/shock cord, and that card can freely go in and out of the pouch. I then attach some paracord to the card and the actual pouch so just ripping the "card" out doesn't cause me to lose my supplies if i have to move while treating. However, I am a paramedic and am the assigned "medic" for the loosely formed squad of guys I shoot with. As such i carry more than just an IFAK
nigga get some shit to treat cuts and sprained ligaments. if you get shot you are done.
Hey guys, I'm trading my SP101 4.2" for one of these guns I think. I'm leaning towards the Sig because there's a lot more parts for it probably, should something break. I traded a .45 for the SP101 so I'm looking to trade up for another .45.
The S&W is more interesting and cooler, but I don't know that it's worth $550 whereas the Sig is probably worth $550 even in worn condition. The sig is a W. German for what it's worth and comes with 3 Mags.
Which would you trade for, and do you think the Sig is worth $600 in its current condition?
Get the SIG.

is the pic the actual guns in question or just pics off the internet?
>>29120512
Nah, actual pics from the guys.
