I'm not sure this is entirely weapons related but I see more threads on helicopters here than anywhere else.
I was reading this article ( http://arstechnica.com/tech-policy/2015/06/drone-flying-over-forest-fire-diverts-planes-costs-us-forest-service-10k/ ) and was wondering exactly why the firefighters couldn't fly in if theres a drone in the air? Are they afraid it would get caught in their rotors or something? Please help!
Because they don't want someones fucking gopro sucked into an engine

Don't birds get sucked in all the time though? Shouldn't hurt it right?

Did you graduate high school?

Agreed, this guys cock has some real potential. Shit's a WMD
Within the next month, I'll be in the market for a new gun, and I'm thinking pretty hard about getting an AK-pattern rifle. The two that I'm most interested in are the CA RAS47, which I can pick up at my local Cabela's for around $650, and the CA RH10, which I can find online for about $800.
I really like the aesthetic of the RH10 with the integrated front sight and gas port, but I also like the classic-AK look of the RAS.
What do you guys know about either, and should I maybe consider AKs from elsewhere?
Thanks.
>>29176666
Depends on a lot of things. Is this just a fun gun, or will it be your go-to autoloading rifle?
>>29176666
If I was in the market for a beater AK, the newest wasrs from century are supposedly a big step up from the older guns. I'd steer clear of the RAS series guns, personally. If you want something more than a beater, try to find an arsenal SGL used in good shape somewhere.
>>29176666
>but I also like the classic-AK look of the RAS.
What should i learn or do or learn to do to not be a complete and total fuck up
>>29176556
I work at my LGS. Don't be an asshole and don't be a retard. Don't bullshit customers. Admit when you don't know something. Learn to love cleaning glass. Thats pretty much it.
>>29176556
>I want to work retail until I hate the thing I love.
^you.
>>29176588
Not OP, I feel like I would be pretty decent at working at a GS but I know jack shit about AR's and parts and kits so that would really hold me back in that regard.
Who /highonhoppesnumber9/ here
Also it is pronounced hoppeys or hops?
"hope-es"
I said it wrong for a long time and a german friend told me how to say it correctly
My dad told me it's pronounced "hoops".
"Hups"
Why can't it just be the B-3? Why do they have to make things confusing on purpose?

>Implying military vehicle designations ever made sense.
Because the Pentagon thinks if its the "21st century bomber" the program has higher chance of actually succeeding, and not getting killed like every other US military program in the last 20 years (B2, Zumwalt, F22, Seawolf etc.)
>>29176132
Because they gave up on a logical system decades ago.
Just got a new Glock 34 mos for $640 how did i do

I only have one, but it falls out of my 19 every time I shoot. I mean, like, literally every shot.

This makes my autism flare up. You should sell either the g34 and get the similar full size m&p or sell the shield and get the g43.

>falling for a meme
Does anyone else have trouble believing the meme of criminals using body armour or having access to automatic weapons in the US... It's something my cop buddies talk about all the time but can't produce any evidence of other than the North Hollywood event.
It seems to be a regular talking point that its super easy to make or get FA weapons here in the US if you are willing to break the law, but I kind of doubt it.
>>29174815
It's a meme
>>29174815
>Does anyone else have trouble believing the meme of criminals using body armour or having access to automatic weapons in the US
They have access to body armor, at least.
http://www.bulletproofme.com/
I can order as much bodyarmor as I want with no checks for felonies, or background checks or any of that noise.
I can't speak on Automatics, though.
>>29174815
lets put it this way the people smart enough to get/make fa and buy bodyarmor are smart enough to not be forced into a criminal lifestyle. they can be criminals cause they and everyone else breaks some law everyday but they dont have to resort to gas station holdups where they plan to die in a shoot out with cops.
Japan has a shit army & navy :^)
Prove me wrong.
Curb stomped by glorious US navy.
For there most part no one's going to argue.
I'd say the Japanese military was much more... Devoted(?) I guess

I can't.

Sounds real effective man. Those muscles will definitely stop bullets.

>>29174688
Lifting your own bodyweight maybe. I'm a pretty muscular person relative to the scrawny ass kids I go to school with, but I absolutely feel healthier and more capable after a long cutting cycle. Soldiers should be able to go for a long time as well as be strong.

Other than that it's pretty good.
Shameless self-bump

Actually worse than I expected. The part where everyone is super impressed with the main character because he remembered to do SSE during a raid turned me off all the way.
Ok /k/, I dont usually post here so any help is appreciated. Was just wondering if i could get some questions answered from anyone with knowledge about the 18x contract or the Green Beret/Special Forces in general. Some quick background on me, I am 24 and am actually a Navy veteran already. Got out with a perfect honorable discharge 1 year ago with no disability of any kind or anything like that. Tried college and hated it, way to boring. So i wanted to go back into the military and definitely want to do something far more hardcore than what i was doing in the navy so i figured...
