How is it possible to be in the infantry and be overweight?
Don't these guys go on 10 mile marches with full gear?
Do combat medics try to recover severed limbs for reattachment during war or are field conditions usually too poor to get the part back intact without too much cell damage (dirt/lack of ice/etc)?
>blasted off limbs cannot be reattached.
Is it that the attachment will usually be much shorter than a clean cut due to the blast or does the explosion actually fuck over cells in the limb since it usually closer to the force?
How the hell do people zero their rifle so easily? I can't seem to zero my 30-06 Savage Axis at all.
>Nikon 3x9x40mm Bushmaster II with weaver mounts

Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
Here's what you do, OP
>get a proper bench rest, not pillows
>a vise/cradle like >>29197593 would be even better but is not required
>read the book that came with your optic
>figure out how many moa each click is
>follow the directions in your book
Put it on a rest or bags or whatever, just so its pointed at a target and you arent touching the rifle at all. Take the bolt out. Look down the barrel and the scope and adjust scope as necessary.
This is called bore sighting. Also make sure your mounts are tight and your scope is level
Is the gay bomb a WMD? If someone dropped one would it be considered attempted genocide?
well...holy shit. I got the appointment. Is there anyone else on here that made it to a service academy?
I went to VMI, it was cool at first, then everyone turned into faggots by 1st class year. Learned some good stuff about discipline, but it sucked 90% of the time I was there.
Do you prefer striker-fired or hammer-fired handguns? Why
>Calico, Grendel, Cobray, Intratec
>really shit guns
>don't sell well
>company goes under due to various reasons
>become sorta rare
>price goes up because of this
So, what is this generations streetsweeper?
Not shitty gun (actually quite nice), but I expect the FS2000 to appreciate rapidly in the coming years, since it's been out of production for about three years now.
Especially the original fixed optic model that was only available for a few years. They'll probably appreciate similarly to the AUG A1.
someone burned trucks from the German army down
but a real question how chucked is the german army has something ever ever hapenid to the us army
I can't recall hearing the last time somebody broke into a US military base and set shit on fire, no. I imagine they'd get lit up if they tried.
Hey /k/, noguns as fuck
I want to fix that. Based on the sticky, I've narrowed it down to:
IWI Jericho 941
and the SIG Sauer P226
Some opinions on these and their variants to help me decide would be appreciated.
cz-75 if you don't care about looks
941 if you only care about looks
m9 if you want to eventually make a samurai edge
p226 if you like the looks and have money
no joke everyone likes their favorite handgun only because of aesthetics
However the Jericho has the best trigger between the SIG, CZ, and Jericho.
I haven't even ever fingerfucked an M9/92FS, so no comments on that.
The Ergos and extra weight of a 941 make it an excellent range gun.
They're all quality pistols.
The CZ and Beretta are world-renowned for standing the test of time.
The Jericho was modeled after the CZ.
Sig is German, and you know the Germans always make good stuff.
Go to gunstores and fuck with all of them, if possible. (might be hard for the 941)
Try to find a gunstore that has a range that you can try them out at.
Name a manufacturer more overrated than Kimber.
Thoughts on compact, large caliber pistols?
Are you talking large for its size?
Like the COP? Gimmicky, at best. But a curiosity piece for sure.
pretty good, definitely better than no gun. they have the power to stop someone and scare factor. most muggers and robbers and gang bangers arent going to wait to see if you have more than 2 shots if it got to the point where you actually had to shoot someone. not to mention comfort and concealability mean you will most likely never leave it at home. probably weighs less than your wallet
What kind of belt do you guys use? I just got a galco SB2, and it seems pretty good.
Also, I hate the look of brass buckles, do you think I should either:
A. Nickel plate it
B. Buy a different buckle and replace it
If option A, I will use distilled vinegar, and add salt. Then, I will electrodissolve pure nickel into it to create a nickel acetate solution; and finally, electroplate nickel onto my brass buckle.
Aliengear, but I just got it and its way too small. Size 30 waist and I got a 34in belt and it's trying to pop me like a tube of toothpaste. Thing is solid though, and the leather is about a quarter inch thick I swear. Also like that it has a detachable buckle, since I'm not a huge fan of shiny chrome.
Where I'm at its completely legal to make garage guns. Me and a friend are going to start with a 25acp, got prints/destructions. Any other easy to make garage gins out there? We were thinking a sten next. Any recommendations as far as tools/equipment would be legit. Pic not really related.
You can buy a reduced diameter reciever tube so that it cant take a full auto bolt, and they make closed bolt semi auto conversion kits that cost about 250 bucks.
I got my parts kit and whatnot, just waiting on the 16 inch barrel to show up and I'm gonna get started on my build.
So how does this work? I thought a shotgun had to have an 18" barrel regardless of overall length...
I think it has a rifled barrel which makes it fall under pistol laws or some shit. But it doesn't meet any of the requirements of AOW and shit for pistols so it's just a "firearm". It's a weird loophole that companies have been starting to exploit.
Hi /k/ I'm doing a research project on gun companies for work.
Which company should I do? Any fairly large company will suffice.
