I recently got my house broken into, I wanna know a little about guns, what guns can I have in my house, can I keep a gun in my car?
Thanks.

haha, i mean Canada. My bad
So, as someone who is 19, can I buy a handgun from a private seller? What about from family? I know I can't from an FFL. I think I can but idk if the transfer would make it impossible because it has to go through an FFL.
Pic related I wanna buy this from my dad.
If your state allows private transfers, yes. No need to go through a FFL.
If your state does not allow private transfers, then no. The FFL will not transfer you a handgun if you are younger than 21.
>>29242171
As of the new law for private transfers, probably not. End of last year we got stuck with a requirement for all sales having to go through an FFL. Including private. Though I know for a fact it's not enforced or checked on everywhere in the state.

Balls. So is there ANY legal way for someone under 21 to own a handgun?

I don't know why this shit exists, but it do.
this might be the wrong thread to ask but, what are some common everyday items that could be carried in a pocket and used as makeshift weapons? I guess that's like the opposite of mall ninja stuff.
say you are traveling to some country that bans fucking everything, what would you carry?
So I went to wally world and I went to buy 9mm... I grabbed 40 SW....
What is a good .40 hand funs. to buy.
>>29241275
>Bought .40 when seeking 9mm
Why exactly?
>>29241275
I don't think illiterate retards should own firearms, OP.

Hey /k/, so I have a legal question regarding concealed carry between states, if any law enforcement officers, preferably from the states involved, or anyone else knowledgeable on the matter can answer.
Okay, so here's my situation, I'm 19 and a Massachusetts resident. I'm about to receive my FID to purchase and own weapons, but can't concealed carry or own a handgun. However, my dad who I live with can as he has his LTC. Now, I live on the border between Mass and New Hampshire, and generally travel to NH pretty frequently. In NH, I can apply for a...

Hello /k/. I need your help... I'm about to make a large purchase on Palmetto State Armory (around 360 bucks, with an added 25 bucks for shipping) and I was wondering if any of you had any coupon codes for their website? I need to shave off a few dollars but I can't afford to wait, everything I want is on a huge sale right now. Thanks for your help and please be gentle
>>29240966
M8 if you need a coupon for a few hundred dollars you should not be spending money on shit you don't need right now. I'm not being rude just honest.
>>29241001
Thanks but I'm 18 years old and I still live with my parents. I have a weekend job and I'm working just to pay for this.

You're me.
Building an AR?
What do you think this gun would have looked like if it hadn't been a derivation of the Colt Mustang? For example, if a company of Sig's caliber had designed the gun from the ground up as the perfect single stack 9, would it be SAO with a thumb safety? Would it have an aluminum alloy frame with a plastic mainspring housing? What do you think the gun would have looked like instead?
>>29240839
The P238 was cooler. The P938 is SAO, so it's unsuitable for carry, especially when it costs as much or more than a dozen or more better options around the same size. And it's disproportionate and ugly.
>>29241214
This is a pretty bad post, and you should feel bad for writing it.
>SAO is unsuitable for carry
In other words, you don't know anything about guns? baka.
>implying it costs that much anymore
baka
>disproportionate and ugly
Yes, well. That was kind of the point of this thread.
>>29241235
Since when did s m h filter to baka.
Alright /k/, I have a simple question. I live in the great state of Ohio. I'm 18, recently just bought an AR, and now I'm addicted to buying firearms. I do not really want any other long guns at the moment. Is it legal for me to obtain a handgun whether it be through a "gift" or a private party. And right now I currently own a Sporter Mosin, Mossberg 500 20 Gauge (My first gun). A Rossi 12 Gauge Slug gun, and my New Ruger AR 556. And pic is only board related one I have. So fuck you AK is better.
>>29240757
Last time I was in Ohio, they had google.
Google isn't giving me a straight answer
>>29240757
You forgot the question part kid
Why would anyone carry hammer back ready to fire like this? Seems like a good way to blow your pecker/ ass off.
>>29240632
guns can only shoot with their spurs cocked back, you noguns faggot
I trust my pecker enough to know it won't an hero, plus my pantsburrito is too big to fit in the trigger guard.
>>29240639
No, tard. When the hammer is back the trigger fires it.
Here we have the Lee Enfield Rifle in .303.
This Rifle was used by the British Military for more than 60 years and is still used by some commonwealth nations to this day. One of the very finest rifles of its day.
This particular model has been outfitted with a lovingly applied blue pony finish.
Does anybody have more pics like this? Preferably with pony shit, I'm a glutton for punishment.
What a beaut.
Is anybody else worried that these fucking autists have guns? Manchildren
>>29240624
Here's a Bubba one I bought. I plan on replacing the wood with original stock.
Bubba'd guns >>>>> putting pony faggotry on a gun
So I want a glock 30s or an MP45 but let's face it the approved handgun list is dwindling.
What would be the easiest and least expensive way of attaining them.
Please note I have family in New Mexico if that helps, can they "gift" me one?
Also it would be my first firearm so any suggestions would be appreciated too.
>>29240444
I really like the MP45 but is the trigger really that bad?
>>29240444
the legal way is to find someone who already has one before SSE ended within the state that is selling one and transfer/buy it through a gun store. You can buy off roster handguns as long as they were good to go before the end of SSE.
Well if you don't give a shit about the law then you could just have your out of state family buy it and give it to you.
Normally in CA private party transfers have to go through an FFL and you cannot transfer a handgun that is not on the approved roster.
HOWEVER you can transfer a gun off of the roster if it is a private party transfer between two California residents.
So if you really want it and you want it 100% legally you need to find someone in the state who has one and buy it from them.
AK vs AR

AK because go to hell reliability

Fucking neitheR.
whats /k/s opinion on the NRA?
i think theyre a bunch of fudds but theyre effective fudds.
also they sent me a pretty cool range bag. if i send them at least 26 bucks theyll send me a tactical back pack
>>29240123
I appreciate greatly what they've done for gun-owners as a whole, but I don't like them. At all. Wayne LaPierre is insane (first link), many (not all, or even most) NRA supporters are equally crazy, and for fuck's sake, I keep getting letters like the second link, which are stupid, inflammatory, and annoying, if for no other reason than unsolicited spam. Basically, I think while they've done a lot of good for us, they also have a terribly common tendency to make gun-owners as a group look real,...

Look at their enemies -- up to and including the entire dinosaur media. That right there should make you sign up.
>>29240123
It's run by insane, unbelievably pretentious fudds who blow things way out of proportion.
That being said, they have a really good firearm insurance policy and they fight for our right to party.
Would a milsurp gun be a good idea for my first gun?
if so what would /k/ recommend

Ever shot before? if yes, drink Mauser 98k koolaid.
If no, 10/22.
a mossy nugget.
>>29240057
Yeah, actually. A beater AK is perfect, never have to clean or really muck with.
Having said that, if you want a weapon to 'get to know' go AR. Learn about it, building a 100% unique one should be the goal...getting to know its workings.
So when youre ready for real commitment, step up, pig.
Did the American Civil War have such high casualties because line warfare was being employed when for the first time many of the weapons available were rifled?
>>29240034
Also better artillery and shells
>>29240034
>some of the earliest battles of world war 1 were fought line warfare
That must have been a shell shock.
Yes. The weapons were ahead of the tactics. The rifle sent a big ass lead slug at a low muzzle velocity. When it hit, it would just obliterate the tissue. That's why there were so many amputations. But they believed that to take a position you had to advance and give the enemy the bayonet. So they all lined up and got blown away. Add to this that they didn't know about antiseptics and germ theory and it's a miracle that anyone wounded survived.
