"This is the ATF, open up! We're here to shoot your dog!"
"This is the DOG, open up! We're here to get fur on everything!"
why does this happen sometimes when I reload?
just worn out brass? bad dies?
how normal is this anyway? happened to 4/100 rounds today.
Bullets crooked during seating cause the bulge. Also looks like you are crimping too much.
Flare the case more. You should be able to drop about 1/16 inch of bullet into the case. Ensure the bullet is as straight as possible before pressing.
Make sure you have a taper crimp die, not roll crimp. Only crimp enough to to remove the flare. You shouldn't be crimping so much that you dent the playing/jacketing.
Also read this:
Seat and crimp:
1. Put a case that has been sized and flared into the shell holder. Lower the handle on your press, which will raise the case to the top of the stroke. Then, screw the seating/crimp die into the press until you feel the crimping portion of the die contact the case mouth. Once this happens, back the die out one full turn. Tighten lock ring.
2. Make sure your bullet seating stem is backed almost all the way out. Put a bullet in the case and run it up into the die. At the top of the stroke, run your seating stem down untill you feel...

I got invited to go skeet shooting by some friends at work. Other than just shooting some at a range I've never done anything similar to it. Is there anything I should know so I don't look like a complete ass.
Keep the action of the gun open and the gun unloaded until you get on the firing line. Don't aim at the pigeons, don't try and stop the shotgun on a pigeon, follow through your shots. Make sure you got the right choke in and are using 7.5-9 shot.
If Ion canons were available from the beginning, would we have been able to destroy ISIS by now?
If we've been able to drone the shit out of them non stop for months now and it still hasn't worked, probably not.
Well, maybe if you tell them allah is pissed and his shiny laser of doom it'd work. They are pretty stupid.
Hey niggerz, I got this Rem 700 in 270wsm
I want to put a new stock on it
what stock should I get /K/
I'm thinking a B&C Alaskan or a McM tactical hunting/A-3 stock
Anyone know if the muzzle device on a mas 49/56 is considered a muzzle brake or a flash hider by the PRK? Pic unrelated.
There is nothing unmasculine about using poison.
I wonder if anybody's ever gotten a hollowpoint, packed some ricin in there, and then hot glued the tip?
Just in case the round itself doesn't kill em.
Sup /k/, weedfag here. Got this nifty fella here to smoke with my buddies and I'm curious about the revolver terminology. Would a single bowl be considered a "round" and all 6 bowls a "chamber?" Or is just one called a chamber. Sorry if that makes no sense but I'm just looking for some input. Mods feel free to delete this if it isn't weapons-related enough.
My girlfriend;s agreement with me was: whatever I spend on an engagement ring for her, she will spend on a gun for me, I had a family diamond and spent $3200 on a .72K setting, 18K white gold.
What should I ask for for $3200??
>SCAR16S with shit
I DONT KNOW
Kind of want something big though
Who would win in a war no alliences one on one

What's /k/'s thoughts on the AG42 Ljungman? I've been considering to buy one for a while, both for hunting and just range plinking. 6.5x55 Swedish is meant to be a really nice caliber and I want to try it out, but I don't want to buy another mauser. Anyone have one?
Also posting a bunch of pics of the Ljungman, because it's sexy as fuck.
Would you shot to a dog like this one?
Whats up /k/ommandos. I just got out of the navy after 4 years of being a SWO and have no fucking clue what I wanna do next. Any suggestions? Also what did you do when you got out
Mostly yeah, the SWO stab is real. Most of my collegues were always sceaming against each other to look good in the boards while simultaneously trying to make everyone else look bad. Also there was a fair amount of cheating but that goes with the territory. Being O side is pretty good since you don't have to do the dirty work yourself but it's stressful as hell, especially when you have one or two absolute shitbags in your division that you're accountable for.
Few weeks ago I posted about how my girlfriend locked my guns in the safe I had lost the combo to, well after the locksmith told me it would cost me about 2 weeks, proof of purchase, and 145 dollars, I said fuck that and used a crowbar. Tada!
Oh and it only took me about ~10 minutes, and that was because I didn't realize you had to bend the wall where it locks out, so it would have only taken me about 3 minutes knowing that, to anyone that owns a sentry safe like mine.
I didn't have all my guns locked in it, just a few I moved out of the way
Recent acquisition thread? Just scored 150 rounds of yellow tip 54r for 70 bucks, what did you guys get recently?
>pic unrelated, ill take pics of the ammo when I get them
