So /k/ I am undecided to buy this gun.
Its called Maxim 9, I am worried how much fire power does it lose due its silent characteristics. Like is the bullet going subsonic velocity.
Any one got experience with it?

that looks like a dominator from psychopass
Ballisticsbytheinch.com
Find out how long the barrel is before the first port and look that up

Basically an integrally suppressed M&P. I'm pumped because they're supposed to churn out a LEO version.
MA fag looking to get into shooting
thankfully I found out my area is one of the "nicer" ones getting ccw permits and the like isn't all that hard., So what are my options for guns? Any residents here want to name drop some brands, LGSs and things to keep an eye out for?
pic related, Ive settled on a plain .38 as my first, Ill just be plinking with it and ive found them for good prices. Good idea/bad idea?
>>29259114
Well, What area? Northern mass? The cape? Western mass? What?
You're on mostly smith and wesson and ruger for your revolvers, or go a bit cheaper for a charter arms one.
>>29259114
well, depending on what part of our shit state makes a difference.
near me my preferred LGS is Northeast Trading Post.
most guns will honestly probably be cheaper to buy online and pay the shipping and ffl transfer fees, but the larger manufacturers tend to be similar priced here as elsewhere..
.38spl is a nice round, I have a snub nose in it, but they grip a bit strange due to the small frame. go to some places near you and finger fuck the guns, see if you can find a range that'll rent...

Guess it does depend on the part of our shit state. I got my pin the same day as my license and bought a 1911 the next day up in pelham
>I fucking love these gun stores right along the border in NH
Hey /k/
I'm home visiting my family and my dad brought these guys out. I forgot we had them. My grandfather brought two swords and a bayonet home with him after he visited Japan and Russia with the army after the bombs were dropped.
I think the thicker sword is Russian and the thinner sword is Japanese. The bayonet might be Japanese as well. It's pretty rounded with on the tip being sort of pointy. Is that common for bayonets? or could this be a practice bayonet if that exists?
I'll post close-up pictures of engravings on the swords
Some Asian character on the base of the blade that I think is Japanese. Any weebs on here know what it says?
>>29259055
other side of this sword
Might be hard to make out, but the design on this sword is pretty intricate. We think this one is Russian.
What went wrong, /k/?
>>29259027
Nothing. You are probably drinking a beer from a can made out of recycled parts of her.
The crew to weapon and capability ratio was ridiculous.
Based Burke better in every way.
Less crew doing more.

>be build to be lonesome nuclear missile launch base

I bought a Taurus .45 acp for 350. Was formerly noguns. Was I ripped off?
you paid pretty much what that guns worth you werent ripped off and can probably get roughly the same amount reselling it but you did buy shit

Taurus
Ripped off
>$350 lesson on doing homework before buying.
>>29258789
On the assumption that this thread isn't subtle bait, no you weren't ripped of. That being said, it wouldn't be my first choice of firearm. You could have saved up a little but more and gotten something a bit more worth it.
The gun should be fine, though.
>bought a glock 17
>I keep shooting left
>small groups at 21 yards but all left
Why, what is wrong with glocks. With my CZ this doesn't happen.
have you tried adjusting the sights?
>>29257566
Youre pulling the trigger, not squeezing it.
The pad of ypur finger needs to be on the trigger, not the joint
>>29257579
I suddenly came into 6 figures of disposable income. I've been flirting with the idea of extreme long range shooting for a few years now and now I have the financial means to do it.
What is the absolute best rifle I can get for this task? I want to be able to engage man sized targets at 2 km. Money is prettymuch no factor here, and I'm fine with boutique calibers like .408 chaytac, .416 barrett, 6.5 creedmoor, .338 lapua mag and so on...
>>29257551
.338 Lapua is pretty popular for long range.
I'd suggest looking into .30-378 Weatherby or any of the Weatherby magnums, really.
>>29257551
Blaser R8 in .338 lapua with a suppressor
>>29257551
look into 6.5-300 Weatherby. Get set to reload and enjoy the show.
Reloading General?!
What is the best single stage press you can buy? Im leaning towards a RCBS Summit or even a Dillon 550 even though its a turret.
Also, any recommendations on a powered case trimmer?
If you are made of money, a giraud would be nice. "The world's finest trimmer" is probably the best value.
See if you can find aforester coax press...
>>29257275
They have the forester coax press on cabelas website and they did catch my eye. I am never buying another Lee press thats for sure.
>this happened
>>29257290
Whoops... Yeah the small ones are really only good for depriming or other low stress applications. I just use mine with the lee quick trim die for trimming 223. My lee breech lock is a lot stronger and provides a lot more mechanical advantage.
Csn someone take a pic with a gun like this but with current date? 03/14/26 nikos ..thanks in advance
>>29257079
No. I don't want some faggot pretending like he owns one of my pistols.
Fuck off this board.
>>29257079
Nice try faggot, save up those tax returns you retard
>>29257079
You again?
Sheepdogs are the worst thing that has happened to the gun community in the last few years.
Ever since the Charleston Church shooting, every right wing Jesus Freak I know wants to live some fantasy about being a "Sheepdog" and saving the flock from some mass shooter.
I run into them at the gun range I help out at, and they are unquestionably the worst shooters, using the worst gear, and are living out some kind of God's Army delusion.
Because of the demographics of my area, I'm fucking surrounded by them. They are a blight.
Anyone...

They're just as bad as faggots who make threads like this. Take your topic and fuck off faggot.
I've never even heard of this, and I'm from fucking Texas. Do you live in the deep backwoods of the Bible Belt or something?
>>29257050
>worst thing that happened to the gun community
Excluding when you got involved maybe
I just recieved my inheritance money and since I already have a paid off house and car with no debts, I want to buy something stupid. That being said, what would /k/ recommend for babby's first anti-material rifle?
>>29257006
Armalite's offerings are recommended if you're into long distance precision shooting.
If you want a semi-auto, Barrett is like the only game in town afaik.
ptrd/ptrs are destructive devices because its bore exceeds .50" so it's expensive as fuck, you should try something in 50 bmg like the barrett m99
>>29257027
I plan on mostly using it for pest control purposes since I already have a long distance rifle.
This 80 percant glock
I pre ordered months ago and was getting impatient but finally its shipping
>>29256932
Neat
>>29256932
How hard would it be to complete I wonder?
>>29256932

Good day /k/ommandos. I've been lurking for a while now but still fairly new here, so I'll try my best not to shitpost.
I'm going to buy the Gorka 4 Uniform soon because it looks awesome + I could wear it in civil. I would like you guy's opinion/advice about this choice.
I also have a couple of questions like:
>Does is keeps you (semi)-warm in an environment at 0°c (32°F) (-241,15°K) ?

dpends on what you wear under it

go to /fa/ for that shit, it's just a windproof suit
>>Is it manageable in a middle European summer?
It starts getting shitty when it start to get t-shirt weather.

What's the best way to clean this SVT40 with all this light rust?
>>29256325
Good question, bumping for interest.

vinegar maybe?
After 2 hours with a brush and CLP it still looks like shit.

I'm still in this thread, try vinegar already you piece of shit.
