You know the drill, post pics of the rifle, pistol and waifu that you'd take into battle with you.
If you don't have a waifu then you can just post your rifle and pistol.

Don't they only talk in that series? Like nothing exciting happens?
>>29391441
Depends on what you find exciting, I suppose. There're some tense moments, but the main selling point of the series IMO is the chemistry between the main characters.
Poorfag here. What does /k/ recommend as far as low price, but still functional handguns? Also general handgun info thread.

What's good about buying trade in glocks is that they usually have the plastic sights replaced with tritiums or at the least metal ones.
I think you have the right mindset already but it's always better to buy a good used gun over a new shit gun for the same price.

did australia really do anything important during the vietnam war?
>>29390948
does australia ever do anything important?
No. Their SF was highly effective, but their infantry didn't really achieve anything that any of the other nationalities in Vietnam didn't do as well. Australian and NZ war vets like to trot out a lot of fuddlore about how the Vietcong feared them in particular because, unlike the Americans, they didn't wear strong cologne and have loud conversations while patrolling, but its all ultimately all masturbation to impress their kids. Its basically the ANZAC equivalent of "muh debil dawgz".
>>29390948
I've heard they held their weight when called on, unlike the fuckin british in WWI and ever engagement after that.
now days all ausfailia does is shit up 4chinz, poop out a few hotties for VS and SI swimsuit, and have a few decent looking actresses for joolywood.

if not, just buy a quality lpk by Colt, LMT, CMT, or CMMG and polish all contact surfaces lightly with a cloth wheel dremel and simichrome.

What are /k/'s thoughts on this? Apparently if you use subsonic ammo, you can shorten it to allow for CCing. Why haven't libtards and gun grabbers jumped all over this? Also, do you think it'd be worth it?

Sure it sounds cool, and I'm sure it has its benefits namely the fact you can defend yourself without blowing out your ears, however, can you imagine the media shitstorm, quotes like "Assassin guns down Jamal in the Streets in cold blood, Shooter used dangerous military pistol that makes no noise"

I know /k/ is primarily focused on guns, but its rules do stipulate that all manner of weapons are allowed here, so let's have a blade discussion thread. What bladed weapons do you like, /k/? What don't you like? Why?
Pic is is a khopesh, from ancient Egypt. Outside edge is sharp, for lethal combat, inside is dull, allowing for the 'hooked' part to trip or non-lethally incapacitate foes.
I've always admired the Kriss.
>that wavy blade mayne
I've always thought of making a compact one out of wrought iron, quenching it in holy water, and oiling it with chrism so it could be my skinwalker hunting blade.
Oh well.
>>29389485
>Outside edge is sharp, for lethal combat, inside is dull, allowing for the 'hooked' part to trip or non-lethally incapacitate foes.
That's not primarily why it is shaped like that. The curve multiplies the force of the swing, think of the protrusion like an axe head.
>>29389677
OP here.
Really? Huh. You learn something every day, I guess. Thank you for enlightening me, Anon. Though I guess the dull inside hook can be used secondarily as a non-lethal option to trip or incapacitate, right?
There's a guy in my area who flies his drone every couple of days through the neighborhood and specifically, through my land. I want to catch it somehow. How do I get it down?

Can't you just get on the same radio frequency as him and take control?
What's a good all around first shotgun, /k/?
I was thinking about a Remington 870 but I heard the new production models are trash. The Mossberg 500 seems similar, but I'm confused about what the difference is compared to the 590 or 590A1. And I've had some people tell me to not waste money on a pump action and go straight to a semi-automatic like a stoeger.
I'm looking to spend $400-700.

because it would limit the size of the warhead and add extra weight to the system.

What determined submachinegun deployment in WWII? Seems to me like in various armies it was done differently, like you had entire squads with SMGs (USSR, Germans) in some armies while in others only one or two of the dudes have SMGs (US)
>>29386821
>What determined submachinegun deployment in WWII?
Different doctrines.
You literally answered your question in your own post.
>>29386829
Yeah but how exactly? What doctrines in which whole squads in certain armies had SMGs for example.
>>29386837
You're asking why, so use the word why. Anyway, the SMG idea came from WWI. Someone can explain that.
WWII wise, here's an country that didn't use SMGS all that much, Japan. Now why didn't they issue them in large numbers? And I'll let someone else take over.
