Looking at this for a camp carry. Thoughts K?
Recommended by a friend, positives opinions at the range, the after market is endless, especially for you in the US. I am going to buy one in some months (I need paperwork for semi autos)
It's great. I have mine set up with a cheap red dot and a side folder stock. The lockup is tight and it holds zero with no problems. It's a normal 10-22 in all regards but with the bonus of fitting in a backpack.
Mine came with the standard berreta 96 brigadier inox as a factory accessory
So what does /k/ think of borderlands?
Thanks for silencing the tripfag cunt-bags, JapMoot!
Now they'll have to go outside and meet people instead of posting their B.S. on /k/ like they expect people to give a shit about who they are.
The bossman finally fixed this bullshit.
Basically, each poster is assigned a random, thread specific name.
Also, tripcodes no longer work, because there is no reason for anyone to need to identify you across threads.
This will help people keep track of each other in threads, but will prevent fame-fagging by tripcode NIGGERFAGGOTS who think this /k/ is facebook or their own personal blog.
The invention is quite literally called a silencer by the inventor.
Will these work in my shotgun?
>trashy as fuck
This ruins everything from backpacks to jackets to plate carries. Makers and brands should stop making their stuff with mall ninjas in mind.
>hurr durr don't want to give away my position with sttcckk sounds that are most assuredly not louder than a fucking gun
Please kill yourself, or let the Germans do it for you when they hear your garand ping you giant fucking retard faggot
>muh free droppers
not as nice and sturdy as phosphor bronze washers but makers still are changing to them. fuck this faggotry knife market.
I only have full size pistols never got into compact handgun and I wanna buy a holster for a glock 17 and full size 1911 so I can ccw then
>what's the best position to carry it and not have it print badly
>I tried apendix carry it worked standing up but uncomfortable sitting down
>would the 4 o clock position help me
>I never where jackets during summer
What should I do what's a good relatively affordable holster for the glock 17
When I can get away with wearing a coat or a longer/thicker flannel I CC a Browning Hi PowerOWB at around 3:30-4:00 in a nice leather holster.
When it's hotter out I don't even bother carrying the BHP and go with something smaller because I can't CC the BHP with just a tshirt or a thinner long sleeve shirt.
The BHP is easy to CC because of how thin it is, and I'd imagine a 1911 would be just as easy if not easier because it's even thinner. Just get a quality holster and quality belt and weight won't be an issue.
What do you guys think about S&W branching out beyond firearms to the "rugged outdoors" market.
I personally fear that the more crap they produce just takes away from their focus on quality firearms. Say what you will about the M&P, but they are pretty nice, especially for their price, and their revolvers kick ass.
But I cringe when I see stuff like a S&W branded "tacticool knife," and the thought of them making outdoor gear just sounds to me like Coleman tier crap priced higher because of the brand name.
I'm going to agree. Whenever a company that has historically done one thing very well, it typically doesn't end well when they try to branch out. Especially when the topic is broad, like just saying "outdoor gear."
I picture a lot of Chinese made crap with smith and wesson stamped on it like they're already doing with those shit knives you find in hardware stores.
What's this about no more anon?
Wut bout muh opsec?
>The US Army announced today that it is advancing the Modular Handgun System program ahead of its schedule. Due to pressure from Chief of Staff Milley, and a lack of entrants in the competition, the Army is dropping all solicitations for the existing 9x19mm NATO cartridge and focusing on the .40 S&W round.
>We are focusingng on the 10x22mm .40 S&W round and have dropped consideration for the legacy 9x19mm NATO round, because our analysis indicates that the .40 caliber has the highest probability...

/ARG/ BLOWN THE FUCK OUT TRIPFAGS LITERALLY ON SUICIDE WATCH HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA
So I know you can cast your own slugs. Can you also cast your own cartridges? And does anyone do it at all?
No, Virginia, Terrorism is Bullshit
Civil disobedience has become a crime. Encryption is your right to free speech,
and that’s becoming compromised. If you don’t have the right to verbally defend yourself, you don’t deserve the right to physically defend yourself either. What’s really left, a fair trial? American citizen and known terrorist Anwar Al
Awlaki was assassinated by order of the United States President. He and at least four other Americans that have been assassinated so far who couldn’t get a trial, what makes you think you deserve one?...

Recently, I bought babby's first shotgun. I ended up getting a Browning BPS 12 gauge smooth bore, but I haven't had the chance to shoot it. The one thing about it that confuses me is pic related: I have no idea what this does.
It's not the primary safety, but it seems to affect the metal fork thing that lifts loaded shells and ejects spent shells by keeping it in a lifted position. Is this another safety that essentially makes it single fire, or does it do something else?
