/k/ I'm giving a speech on gun rights at my liberal college and any neat info graphics or info would be appreciated
>>29535225
Guns don't kill people, people kill people.
there probably a hirez version somewhere
>>29535251
Guns don't kill people, I kill people.
They got no 2nd Amendment.
You can't tell the difference between a good guy with a gun and a bad guy with a gun so I guess when they use blank guns for self defense they are hoping to scare the bad gun into thinking their life is in jeopardy.
You can also burn the shit out of someone if you shoot a blank gun at them at near point blank space.
Discuss blank gun self defense.
>>29535130
These apples were shot at point blank range with blanks.

>>29535130
Point blank self defense, eh? Sounds like a bad idea. Might as well buy a couple of pipes and a nail, and assemble your very own shotgun. Or do pic related.
Hello /k/ i am new here. need your opinions and help. Not sorry for bad english
/diy/ doesnt like me or my ideas but i think someone who knows how guns work could appriciate this.
Chinese had chu ko nu, but it was weak and innacurate. Nobody in the medieval times was smart as i am now to think of this push/pumpaction/repeating/skyrimknockoff/chukonuknockoff krossbow.
its all mechanical and no gunpowder is to be used, no electronic machine, no petroleum powered, just your hands.
I shot guns before but coming form not usa i cant take a gun and break it appart to see...

Has Anyone Really Been Far Even as Decided to Use Even Go Want to do Look More Like?
>>29535151
if you dont have anything intresting to say or ask, fuck off.
I on the other hand will be back to this imageboard and ask the same question until most of you start thinking about it and finally help me get ideas and make the crossbow.
I dont care if it takes 3 years.
>>29535196
I can tell you this much, you didn't even include at what point your lever arm is going to pivot- which still doesn't matter because your drawing shows you've A. never loaded a crossbow and B. never designed anything with a lever
>cheap, 9mm ghetto blaster that became increasingly infamous
Was the TEC-9 the original Hi-Point?
>>29535042
No, Hi Points actually work from time to time.
You'd have better luck throwing that thing as a boomerang.
Nah. Before hi-points, there were all manner of crappy little .25s and revolvers. "Saturday Night Specials."
ITT: Guns you know aren't that good but you want one anyway
you're mom
>>29534981
It's not that bad.

Damn that water looks good.
Cant wait for rogue one, hopefully they add in a few teasers for the next one in the TFA trilogy, or tie it in (beyond the obvious)
>rebels out in the open
>misses
>direct confrontation with an ATAT in the first place
Its gonna be copypaste '3 dudes kill everyone' hollywood action isnt it...
>>29534910
Did you expect anything else?
Ask an Australian vet anything. Im drunk, bored, stuck on a fucking island...entertain me and ill tell you what happens in the US presidential race.
>>29534749
should i get an ultrasonic cleaner for cleaning my brass?
No, dont be stupid.
How did you like using the F88? Ever cross-train with another nation's rifle? If yes, were there any you liked better?
Hey /k/, at my ol' Grandpas 80th birthday I found out he was in the marines. I don't know how I didn't know until now. Anyways he was in the service during the Korea war. We where going to see if he has anything from back then, what would I likely find /k/?
>>29534723
Photos and papers
>>29534740
Good, what I expected anyways.
Maybe a dress uniform, some patches and medals if he was awarded any. Should post what you find, could be nothing, or you could find some pretty neat shit. For instance I was looking around my grandparents home many years ago and found my pops navy issue officers rain coat. Tan, trench coat style jacket. Also found his wings too. Pretty cool find.
Has anyone here used one of these or something similar?
>>29534689
I mean, our tac team is trained on the HHIT Flex, which is like this but without the gun bit..
If you count that then I guess yeah kinda.
>>29534689
For a second there I thought that was a hi point. I laughed so hard. Also no, I don't even know of any local police forces that have even considered buying them.
>>29534689
I thought that was a curved barrel at first
someone tell me about greatswords. what makes them so great? what does a well designed one look like? also post some cool ones.
>Greatswords are weapons
Well if you're in heavy ass plate and mail, you want a sword with reach to make up for your slow speed. Pikes were great weapons for armored troops, and they could still have an arming sword.
In general, one handed arming swords were best because you could have a free hand to have a shield and they were easier to move around quickly and go for weak points in the enemies armor.
My opinion is maces, hammers, etc were the best melee weapon to use against heavily armored troops aside from raining down bolts and arrows and using terrain to your advantage. Soldiers...

but what if i wanted to cut many peasants in one swing?
I approve of this thread
Neat or gay?
It's a neat novelty. I wouldn't own it, though.
I wouldn't waste my money on something like that.
>>29534524
how much?
Post sexy Glocks.
Glocks are the most reliable gun and they're sexy.
>>29534413
Glock p mags are only $15!
>>29534413
I still think the glock is pretty stupid for not having a real safety mechanism
>>29534646
The Glock in this picture is green. It is a VERY good gun.

What the fuck is with the "if he owns a gun he is going to beat and kill you if you date" meme that is being pushed by cosmo and being liberal all of a sudden?
>>29534282
Can you provide a example of this meme?
>you're going to get beaten and killed by this guy because he has a gun
If you get beaten and shot, and the last person you were seen with was this guy, it's pretty obvious who did it.
So either the guy is retarded or a psychopath with no sense of self-preservation. Either way you probably wouldn't want to date him if you have an IQ above room temperature.
Any reason to stay away from Atlantic? They've got the PTR I'm looking at but I didn't know if they were like Century; something to steer clear of.
Buds has the same rifle for a bit cheaper, but it doesn't have the paddle release.
It's the PTR91 KFM4R if you guys know of a better deal. I know the furniture is horrendous. I've already got a replacement stock and handguard waiting for it.
bump, anyone have experience with Atlantic?
>>29534210
They're fine
Atlantic is a good company, but generally more expensive. That said, it seems they QC the stuff they sell and their ptr's are unique in that they have the paddle and rail.
