How viable is this?
Would it be a good [spoiler] zombie apocalipse gun?
Monday Night Milsurp Thread
Post em, faggots
Is this a good deal? Better option than the Frankford Arsenal Tumbler?
i want to start loading pistol cartridges for USPSA use. what do i need? a set of resizing and reloading dies, deprimer, reprimer, powder dispenser/scale, and a press... how necessary is a tumbler?
new england fag here, can any texans confirm whether double shot, scoped, automatic, hunting assault, adapters are sold at your grocery stores?
Not clicking that link...
But my local Walmart has McDonalds in it
On and also about 8x8 section for guns
Usually shotguns and lever actions
Sucks man, I messed out when they had ARs
>Asking cucked inferior Texans about their guns
>Not asking the true masters of the southwest
Thoughts on the P320? I enjoy striker-fired handguns and think this might be a great buy for OWB carry and range plinking.
I thought the Trigger was really nice, but in the end I just replaced the Glock 19 I sold with another Glock 19. Smaller, easier to carry, more holsters, magazines are cheaper.
Most of my other guns are Sigs but when it comes to Striker, I'll just stick with Glock. Just my opinion. Like I said, the trigger on the P320 is great and you may love the gun.
Go shoot it and see what you think.
Shooting General, for rookies and pros
I've been shooting tight groups at 5 yards with my USP but I consistently shoot down and to the left. The act of pulling the trigger is making me jerk the gun. I'm starting to think of the gun as an extension of my arm and it's getting better but it's slow improvement. Any advice? Will the match trigger help with a clean pull through or do I practice practice practice? Once I start getting my groups in the middle of the target I can definitely shoot from a bit farther away but I'm embarrassing myself right...

Stop anticipating your shots. Tell yourself nothing will happen after you pull the trigger . With a solid hold, you'll drive a tack right where you point it.
Don't develop a flinch.
This is a pretty common thing with the USP, especially the 45. I've had mine since 2010 and if I don't stay up on dry fire practice it bites me in the ass and I throw low left.
If you're a right handed shooter and pulling low left work on finger pad placement on the trigger. You want the center of the pad (the part where your fingerprint whirls or loops) on the front center of the trigger face. If you have small hands this can be difficult with a full size USP.
Clevelandbros, are you prepared for the RNC next weekend?
I work in a Class III Gun Shop in N Canton and I'm scheduled during the inevitable chimp-out. I'm gonna be fully suited up for the oncoming racewar.
Does anyone here have experience with the m39s that classic is selling? I want a finnish mosin but reading the comments it seems like a lot have cracked stocks and other shit
It has come to my attention that you can get a Remington Model 11 for around $300-400 on gunbroker. I need a shotgun for home defense, and my understanding is that the Model 11 is a really good semi-auto shotgun. My plan is to cut one down to 18in and use an aimtech scope mount to mount a reflex or red dot sight. Is this a good idea?
>tfw China still uses Tu-16s
>tfw their long range supersonic anti-ship missiles still make them fucking deadly against carrier groups
Shows how the arrow is largely more important than the archer these days.
Gif is from the recent South China Sea excercise, involving around 100 ships and planes together, training A2AD scenarios. A group of these H-6s with YJ-12s could threaten the USN considerably.
It's not even the latest "K"-variant of the H-6/Tu-16 Badger. Literally ancient planes carry these deadly stuff.
ground launched variant or static display, apparently.
Hey /k/, just picked up this .303B 1920 Lee-Enfield today. Did I do alright?
No. Looks like complete shit, and it's actually probably really dangerous to shoot. The 1920s were plagued with barrel obstructions. Don't try to shoot it, OP. I value your life too much, I don't want you to get injured. Here, just send it to me and I'll try to fix it.
How much did you pay? Do serial numbers match? Stocks looks refinished, but not a bad job. Inter-war years are neat IMO. Nice rifle.
Is there a good single action pistol other than the 1911? All the designs I've seen either have atrocious triggers or unnecessary "features" that make the gun less usable.
Yo, long time lurker here. I've never seen much talk about electronic earpro (MSA Sordin/Peltor Comtac). How do you guys feel about them? Ive got some sordin supreme pro-x myself and i love em (Active Duty 11C).
I have a pair of Howard Leights that I've used for about 2 years, they work great but are a little thin and small, not providing a good seal when I try to get a good cheek weld with some of my rifles.
Also, took one of those little FiiO amps you would get for free with them and attached it to the audio port for added sound amplification for playing music from my phone/radio comms.
I've heard good things about howard leights, I was considering getting some at first but wasn't sure how much they could handle. My Sordins have an aux input as well. Feelsgoodman.jpg
Shit's been going down lately. I know that.
But shit's always going down. Right?
I wanna be smart with my finances and make good purchases, but some /k/ommandos have me somewhat concerned.
I'm a bit of a newfag, is /k/ always this on edge?
ak prices been going up
ar-15 prices been dropping like a stone
if you're looking to get an AR, nothing's going to happen between now and January, bro. Take your time, sell some plasma, and get yourself a gun in 2 months.
the anxiety goes away with preparation.
/k/ can be a jump off point for the information needed to get in shape, get firearms, get confident with your firearms, and get an ammo fort.
while you're doing this stuff the anxiety dwindles, and by the time you've accomplished all that you'll be too busy to be that anxious, and the way you look at the world will have changed.
it's a long game
