Tanks should carry a trailer full of fuel like pic related. Then they wouldn't get stranded so much, like they did in the Gulf War.
A quick release from the driver's seat would let them ditch it instantly if they got attacked or something.
Discussing the current election should be allowed on /k/ from now on because the outcome will directly affect everyone on this board.

Hillary isn't even going to win. Once Trump is done dealing with establishment Republicans and Ted Cruz, he's going to set his sights on Hillary.
She's about to get the schlonging of a lifetime.
I think 90% of the board would agree with you.
But faggot shit posting refugee redditors and freedom hating mods don't allow it. Threads just move to /pol/ where reasonable discussions cannot be had.
I doubt it. Shillary is going to beat Trump. She is going to lie, cheat, steal, bribe, coerce, and buy herself the White House. Wait until she asks Elizabeth Warren to be her running mate and then they pull all of the angry Bernie faggots...

Can anyone identify this handgun?
The idiots at Vice really believe that it's a Walther P99 found on an IS soldier.
Hey, no gunz here out in california, I found some old high cap mags my grandpa bought before the ban. Can anyone ID this mag for me?
Here's the side angle
How much does barrel length actually matter for civilian purposes?
Been looking at getting an AR-15 and really wondering if it would be worth it to go with a long barrel or just get a 14.5 with pinned muzzle break?
How much does it affect the gun performance? Would it make a difference to a normal civilian shooter just popping targets in the back yard?
Seems like a 14.5 would be easier to handle than a 16 or a 20.
Carbine go 11.5-14.5
Midlength go 16.1"
Rifle go 20"
This is if you want absolute reliability with a stoner gas system
When you start going 14.5 middies or 16 carbines you run into issues
your 14.5 ends up being 16 anyways cause the flashider adds like an inch and a half anyways
it makes no difference
hell even 20 is perfectly manageable indoors unless you are in a car or closet
a pinned flashhider will fuck with performance in the long term since crap will build up under it leading to a loss in accuracy(dont worry about it this is like thousands of rounds later)
since its fixed its a real pain in the ass to clean
Hey K, what kind of AR is this?
I know this is old as time itself, but does anyone on /k/ actually prefer .45 acp to 9mm? Here's some expert opinions by the way:
Prefer it? Yes, I prefer it. I love the way it shoots, I love the way it feels, I love how god damn big the rounds are compared to other pistol cartridges.
But my carry gun is a 9mm, because as much as I LIKE the fuddyfahv, in terms of ballistics, recoil, and capacity it is equivalent at best and inferior at worst.
Sup /k/? I have decided my first rifle is going to be M1 carbine. Keeping it iron site. Any recommendations on brand or other tips?
Who wins? Please be as indepth as you can
Anyone own a gun store? why wouldn't you lan transfer a gun
Shit, I was gonna post this thread.
Which of you assholes disappointed the Ian?
What is the best APC/IFV around today?
Why is no one talking about this ?
So my girlfriend and I are buying a house soon and I've decided that I'm going to use the garage as a shop. I intend to build a small forge and metal furnace in order to make stuff, but I have one thing I want to make a shitload of. 80% lowers.
Does anyone know how much aluminum shrinks after casting? Have a CAD drawing for an AR lower, AK receiver (While iirc it can't be aluminum it can be forged steel), FAL receiver or even a G3/PTR91 receiver?
Also, general weapon smithing thread I guess.
the igs files open fine in solidworks, I never bothered putting CAD on my home computer. And the blueprint files are just pdfs and are decent. I'm not downloading some random exe though.
I want a home forge and machine shop...I just don't really want my own home...
Why do you guys obsess over these weapons when you shoud fear the day you might actually have to use them. Guns aren't toys to fuck around with. They're meant to kill people. You're all just faggots with inferiority complexes that want a gun to feel "powerful".
Any /k/entuckians here enjoying the airshow?
Here's a livestream of the local news for anyone else wanting to watch some shit. Luckily I live around 2 to 3 miles from Bowman Field where all the civilian aircraft take off and land at so I get a few flying over my house.
