I'm finishing up my AR and I want to know if Nikon makes good scopes. I'm looking at their 1.5-6 M-223 and I want to know if any of you have had experience with them.
Get a Primary Arms at the minimum, Vortex if you hate good reticles and have money to spend
Better reticle, better glass, better warranty
>>29775058
I have one and while it's pretty decent my biggest complaint is the eye relief. You have to look through the scope just right or else you won't get a good picture. Your eye relief basically has to be perfect where as some scopes are a little more forgiving and you can still acquire a good picture even if your eye isn't the exact right distance from the lense

Got a question for you /k/ommandos.
I'm trying to choose between getting an AK 107fr from Arsenal/DDI Underfolder VS a CZ2008 by Century. The obvious price difference is nice, and there seems to be some nice differences, such as the bolt hold open, and the striker fire.
Figured maybe VZ58 and then use the extra cash left for a handgun?
Let me know what you think.
I would stay away from Century. DDI is a mixed bag. I would probably go with Arsenal because of their hammer forged chrome lined barrels.
>>29775018
I'm not getting a century AK, for Kalash purposes it would have to be Arsenal or DDI. But for the VZ, seeing as it's imported by CZ-USA and CA from the same Czech factory, it'll be pretty much alike. I'm just wondering if anyone here has experience with both and if so they could let go of some wisdom not found on youtube.
Ok so there are rumors of China building a nuclear power plant in the Spratly Islands. This makes attacking the islands almost impossible. How would you do it?
>This makes attacking the islands almost impossible
nuclear power plants don't create force fields
>>29774754
>Attacking the islands almost impossible
How? Just bomb everything around it. We have guided munitions now.
Get HAARP to send a typhoon to smash it.
We Makarov Now. Who here Makarov?
>Makarov
Hear he's hanging around somewhere.

Price dont matter. Just spent $600 for lipo batteries for my rc hobby. Gun fags are really stingy for some reason.

Post Lebanon related pics, /k/
Father just died, want to relive some memories in our old shitheap of a country.
I remember when I was a kid, my brothers and I used to talk to the soilders around town and ask them for a spare bullet. We had a small collection, not much variance in what we had but it was the coolest shit as a 7 year old.
First time I ever used a gun was when one of my dad let me use his defense rifle. (completely forgot what it was, got stolen when our house was looted) Him and my grandfather watched me shoot peices of wood all day.

Sounds like an interesting time for you.
Quite a few Lebanese came to Australia as a result of the conflict.
>>29774684
Sure was. Everybody wanted out.
I've heard we caused a big surge in gamg violence down under, and I heard you guys gave us a funny nickname, it was either Lebos or Lebabos, I forget.
Either of those hold any truth?

Should I get one?
Yes, now fuck off.
Of course not, this isn't 2008 anymore.

I have the same question
>get here earlier this year
>get into guns
>not sure if I should fall for the meme or wait for the next one
I read an article last year that the apx would be released for civilian sales late 2015, now it's 2016 and looking like we won't be able to touch it until late 2017. I was very interested in this pistol, wtf beretta.
Of all the Glock ripoffs, this one is definitely the ugliest. It makes the XD look like a goddamn CZ.
dumping photos of apx
Need help, /k/. I'm looking into pepper spray, bear spray, or something similar. What's a good one to get? I know, it's no funs, but I live in a no funs state.
Kind of leaning toward this, but I really don't know much about them.

Or this is the other one I'm considering.

A gun.
Is white lithium grease good for guns? It's cheap, universally available, and resists high temperatures.
Only the stuff that resists oxidation and has good reversibility, otherwise it gunks up like a motherfucker. Personally, I would use aluminum based grease over lithium.
>>29773999
Use it all the time, works great. Don't put too much or you gunk the shit up, and throwing your gun into a pile of sand will cause it to get all up in the grease, so don't do that.
>>29773999
Use lithium grease with moly and EP additives.
The Swiss army does the same exact thing, standard issue automatenfett is lithium grease with moly and other additives to improve performance under high pressure and temperature.
Let's get a good improvised weapons thread going. I'll post what i have.
Why doesn't Remington free float the 700? It could be a good rifle if they did.
>>29773699
Don't need to do that to hunt a durr, kiddo.
>>29773699
The 700 is the cheapo alternative to good rifles like the Model 70 so there needs to be a solid price difference to sell. Remington sells more accurate variants and needs room to mark them up too.
free float is the least of the problems that would need to be fixed.
How does /k/ feel about the Geneva Conventions. What about the Hague Protocols?
>>29773572
Considering that we haven't fought anyone who followed them in sixty years, they are currently more of a burden than a protection.
The idea that dropping a 155mm shell on a man is just while shooting him with a spire point bullet is poor form strikes me as somewhat divorced from reality.
>>29773572
as long as the enemy follows them, fine by me. if not, oh well... get the spark plugs!
Does Agency Arms make the most professional use Glocks in the market? I've owned several Glocks including Sailent Arms yet Agency Arms Glocks blows them out of the water.

Is this a joke?
Those "upgrades" are mediocre at best and offer no benefit. The trigger job can be done for $8 and 10 minutes of your time. The sights can cost up to $150. That's all you really
Just go to the range and practice some. Those additional serrations won't make you a better shooter.

Fuck that. I can get a Chris Costa edition M&P .45 for the same price. And mine would be just like his personal custom one.

Really wish my employers weren't such faggets about employees CCing. I used to carry anyway, but I got promoted, and found it near impossible to conceal under a white chef jacket.
Went to a range for a first time ever today to shoot my AR15, but got to shoot an AK47. The guys were talking about the "newer" AK74, but which one is better? Which one do you like, and why?
>>29773247
That picture triggers me.
Only trial versions were chambered in x41
>but which one is better?
Technically the 74 as it is a more modern design but both are nearly identical minus one firing a .22 caliber bullet and the other a .30 caliber bullet
>Which one do you like, and why?
I prefer the 74 because 5.45x39 is a really neat and fun to shoot cartridge and because the 74 is more aesthetically pleasing to me. But, if I could only have one, it'd be a 47/AKM simply due to ammo being everywhere. I own both, love both, and although I buy 90% of my ammo online it is nice...

Is the kick actually that much less on the 74? I shot the 47 today and it had hella kick, where it was making it somewhat uncomfortable to shoot for an extended period.
