Shitpost comparisons to the M1 aside, how does the T-14 fare up against is it predecessors? It is a significant improvement?
>>29775719
In theory, yes, it's a huge step up, especially in terms of crew protection. The largest article of contention is that it all depends on build quality, which, as far as we've seen, has room to be fucking awful. It's impossible to tell at this point.
>>29775719
Nobody knows because it's vaporware, much like the PAK-FA and every other Russian attempt at playing catch-up in the past decade.
>>29775739
Never heard of complaints about the construction quality for the new build(circa 2005) T-90As.
Besides the
GRIP ZONE GRIP ZONE
GRIP ZONE GRIP ZONE
why shouldn't I buy one of these as an all-around gun? They're around $400 and have normal grip size with extendo clips.
What's the problem with XDs?
>>29775569
Just get a glock
It's cheap and you can keep your dignity
>>29775569
why would you want a trigger safety and a grip safety it doesnt compute
>>29775569
i think XD's just look stupid, i hate how they are designed, way to many "tacticool" looking patterns on it trying to set it apart
its just a gun, i dont need any fancy shit, a piece of metal that shoots
that being said i think pic related looks way cooler
I don't know what's more surprising to me, that somebody fired a bear out of a supersonic airplane, or that a bear was fired out of a supersonic airplane and the Soviets weren't the ones responsible for it.
Post other military "experiments"
Ok I'm really not sure what you're shooting for here but I don't think this was it
>>29775314
That's some loony tunes shit right there.
Don't remember if it was "Military" persay... but I give you the Eargesplitten Loudenboomer. Its a .22 that has a metric buttfuckton of powder behind it. Somewhere around 100 grains if i remember correctly
See this. What goes through your mind about the person carrying it?

Not in the traditional sense.
Kevin Spacey and Atlas were the good guys in that game.
Prove me wrong.

yes
Why did the American Civil War last as long as it did?
I might understand if it was a low-intensity war, but you're looking at over 150,000 dead every year for four years.
With this many dead, why didn't the war finish sooner?
Unlike the revolutionary war, our enemies were fellow Americans, not some pussy redcoat sons of bitches
>>29774617
Because there were a lot of people in America then.
>>29774617
The northerners were not well led and the southerners were. The northerners had lots of production and men and the South didnt. South kept beating the north but the north could afford those defeats. After the south had worn through it's initial stock of manpower and materiel they could put up spirited but ineffective resistance and so were slowly pushed back all the way to Richmond by an aggressive if not imaginative general grant while having their base of support burned and looted by Sherman from their strategic flank.
Been a while since I've seen one.
What scope should I get? Long range shooting (1k+ yd), budget is ~$1200 plus or minus some. Going on a 308 and eventually a 6.5CM. Thinking of Burris XTR II 5-25 scr mil. Also have been looking at bushnell 4.5-30 and PST 6-24.
I'm not entirely convinced that I need a Christmas tree reticle.
burris xtr 2 is a good option, or the SWFA 5-25.
the swfa 5-25 is fantastic, and has a lifetime warranty ( as does the burris)
another option would be IOR

>>29774039
I would say you would be better off with the PST
My PST 2.5-10 is great. Buddy has an an older XTR. Can't into actual "long range" for the time being, don't have the time to make it to the limited number of 600+ ranges in my area.
I won't lie though, I am a #vortexfanboi and desu I think Burris is junk after using their XTR 1-5
Time for a 1911 thread. Anyone shot or handled these new operators? I've been thinking of getting one.

What would be a fair price on a Llama .45 ACP 1911 assuming it's in good condition?

Why both?
>>29773771
Sexual lubricant and smoke grenade is a Psilocybin aerosol device.
Should women be put in separate units like with Boy Scouts and Girl Scouts?
>>29769462
No, they should be integrated into the same units. You know, like how it is going to happen.
>>29769462
Naw. That's just silly.
>>29769462
Only if they lower the bar for women. If they keep the same requirements for both men and women, there shouldn't be any problems. Besides, they're grown adults, not kids.
Mainly interested in the Schofields. Opinions? Thoughts?

So this is what its come to, they did some training where they allowed the EMTs to carry weapons and defend themselves alongside Law Enforcement officers and they did some solo training for situations where they would not have law enforcement back up.
EMTs going to be walking around with glocks on their hips soon.

No.
