>Are edc lasers a good idea?
>Below is why I say maybe, but what does /k/ think?
Pain in the ass people use their phones in the movie theaters and fuck up the movie. It would be nice to stop them discreetly without shouting down from all the way back or being completely autistic and shining a flashlight at them (which fucks the movie for everyone). You can also fuck someone's vision at extreme distance if necessary, even in full daylight. Powerful ones can signal aircraft for rescue. Fun to point out constellations...

Definately, you can keep one up your ass when not in use. You're most likely used to doing this already.

would it hurt to be hit by a buckler? would it actually make you buckle?
>>29835841
From personal experience - shields, no matter how small, make for really good bashing weapons, especially when used skillfully. Buckler would function much like a 0.5 kg brass knuckle, so I imagine that being hit in the (unarmored) head with the rim could cause a skull to crumple. So yeah, it would make one buckle.
>Would it hurt
Yeah
>>29835965
It would be extremely painful.
Hey /k/. In a few hours I'll be headed to MEPS. Besides waiting a lot and being rushed, what am I to expect?

Lel I love my lil badger. I put a foregrip and eotech on it for shits and giggles once and brought it to the range. Got some good laughs. But yea deffinitley agree they are useless.
Never heard of lights, lasers, or foregrips huh?
As far as I know there aren't any chemical weapons used like tear gas and your character gets along fine without them in the zone. Why are all the characters on the cover art wearing gas masks?
>>29835505
A shit ton of irradiated materials were ejected from the explosion at reactor 4. The mutants in the game would technically be a biohazard. And gas masks are fucking cool.
>>29835531
then why does your character never have to wear a gas mask? Those things obstruct vision and constantly having to replace filters is a burden
ingesting α-emitters is generally not recommended family

They were well trained and well armed, backed up by the largest Navy at the time and basically the most technologically advanced military the world knew.
They fought a bunch of guerrilla fighters and got their shit wrecked, which should sound pretty familiar to a lot of us.

What are the main issues with short shotguns like this ?
Recoil ?
lack of accuracy ?
(sorry for bad english mates)
Also, would this be legal in USA ?
>>29835069
Looks like shit, aims like shit. What is it's purpose?
Excessive recoil, no stock, no choke, severely limited capacity. Only advantage they have is concealability and stowability.
Newgunz checking in,

why is there generally only one dude with a M203?
i have no real operating experience and my question comes from watching movies/shows
Because they make a light gun heavier and if you had more than a couple of guys with them, everyone would have to carry a boatload more grenades to feed them. Fuck that.
>>29834899
The standard infantry units (but believe me this can vary for a lot of reasons), is that in a fire team of 4, one man will have the M203 or M320
The downside to an M203 is that it makes your rifle heavier and more awkward, and of course you have to carry a bunch of grenades somehow on your person. In a firefight, you are usually more concerned with launching grenades than laying traditional suppression. Grenades are a good multiplier for suppression, but suppression still needs a stream of bullets. Combined...

Depends on what is available and the number of guys willing to add an extra 4 lbs to their rifle.
are bolt actions left-handed by default?
they feel and look like so.

Nah it's just that lefties like me learn to adapt to a right handed world so we get good at doing shit either way.
Lefty master race!
>>29834709
Have you ever fired a bolt action rifle before? They're intended to work best for the majority of people, i.e. right handed people. Racking the bolt with your right hand allows you keep your sights in line more effectively.
>>29834709
Notice how all the left handed guys shooting unsupported have to break their whole form to rack the bolt, the ones firing supported have a free right hand and have learned how to use it.
Sup /k/... So I'm looking for a specific video. IIRC it was an american reporter who was doing one of those 'wear a cops shoes' type scenarios. Basically the cop gave both him and another cop (aggressor) a paintball handgun gun. The aggressor had the gun down at his side, while the reporter was holding the aggressor at gunpoint. The reporter was told that when the aggressor raised his weapon, he needs to shoot him before he gets shot himself. This exercise repeated like 10 times, each time the reporter was never able to shoot the aggressor center mass before he...

No it is similar in that someone took police training. But the guy that did it was a white reporter. The exercise they did was in a room. I believe it was a Facebook video but I can't find it on YouTube.

If Australia's military is purely a defense force then why don't we have dedicated Interceptors as well as the Hornets?
>>29834489
Because dedicated interceptors are fucking asinine and retarded, its not the 50's anymore.
Because the Hornets are dedicated interceptors. They intercept Aussie Lebbos in Syria and turn them into burnt kebab. Simples.
