The DP-12?
Germanon here: My neighborhood is getting shittier everyday and burglaries are on the rise.
Weapon laws are pretty cucked so i am not allowed to own firearm apart from muskets developed before 1871.
What are decent weapons to use against the usually badly armed intruders (they don't usually have firearms and are instead equipped with crowbars or in rare cases a baton)?

Can't go wrong with a baseball bat.
What are your self defense laws like?
In Oklahoma I can defend myself with deadly force and may not even go before a court but if you go to jail in Germany for hitting someone with a club that effects your best options.

Use a sword or Axe of national cultural/historic significance. Send them Sandkips back to Allah, one chunk at a time.
Why do we still use these old things, and why don't they have proper countermeasures?
>>29854240
They're sufficient for troop transport, and US doctrine involves having total control of any airspace in an area of operations.

manpads
>>29854285
US hasn't fought anyone who had manpads yet
So they can get away with using helicopters
Social Security just posted their plan to start reporting certain people to NICS.
The comment period is open for sixty days, make sure you drop buy and tell them this is a bad idea.
https://www.federalregister.gov/articles/2016/05/05/2016-10424/implementation-of-the-nics-improvement-amendments-act-of-2007
How is this a bad idea?
The only way to reduce gun violence in America is keeping all guns out of the hands of some people, which this ncis thing will do. We currently have a bunch of bullshit keeping some guns out of the hands of everybody because retarded liberals.

it's a pretty broad brush to paint with when everybody who "lacks the mental capacity to manage his or her own affairs" is determined by social security or the fbi to be of “marked subnormal intelligence, or mental illness, incompetency, condition, or disease.” and therefore unfit to have firearm rights.
health care providers are already required by law to report any person who clearly shows signs of violent behavior, (i.e. james eagan holmes) or people who have been adjucated as mentally...

If you can't keep your shit together and manage your affairs to the point the government needs to help house, clothe, feed, and medicate you then you don't fucking get guns. That's a shining example of mentally defective.
Greatest war movie of all time?

Where Eagle's Dare.
Watching that with my dad pretty much sealed my love of guns and history.
Swat has no eta. Cops not moving.

Can any /k/ommando identify my granddad's flintlock for me? Only have 3 pics so bare with me
>>29852062
That's not a flintlock. That pistol uses percussion caps.
>>29852062
Going to start off by saying that isn't a flint lock.
>>29852062
let's see them /k/! show your MAGA swag + guns.
ps: hot chicks are a bonus and not required.

What gun could theoretically kill or seriously injure an 8 foot tall 500 pound ayy lamao from outer space?
>>29851306
12 gauge works pretty well
Shameless self bump
>>29851314
That would be at least 6 slugs to kill it
I was at the dentist with my kid, in Florida. They ripped me off, so I wasn't very happy, and eager to get out, which would have been fine. If... There weren't another dad there who was sitting in the waiting room across from me WHILE OPENLY FUCKING PRINTING INSIDE OF A PEDIATRIC DENTISTRY.
So /k/, what are your thoughts on this sort of thing. I am waiting on my CC to be approved, and from what i've been told, if you can't conceal correctly, then you are open carrying, which is illegal in this situation here.
>i-is that illegal?
Stay sheep, friendo
We mom's demand now
Did you call the cops like the good goy that you are? :^)
No watch thread? Tacticool or simple, both are fine
Looking for suggestions for a watch for my girlfriend who is leaving for Coast Guard boot camp in July.
My requirements are as follows:
Must be waterproof to 100m (Yes this is excessive, but I've found 50m fails even with swimming casually for extended periods)
Must have a band that either is metal and won't rust, or is nylon and will dry naturally
Must be analog (Digital watches are ugly, and seem cheap)
Must be $100-$200
Must not be G-Shock
Must be from a well known watch company (ex. Seiko)
Pic...

Would like to clarify, this watch is intended to last several years, not just for boot

What about Quartz vs. Auto?
I really like my Seiko SKX173, which is a legit dive watch, won't look giant on a girl, and is very rugged and reliable. It's an automatic and not a quartz, though, which means it's not the most accurate thing in the world and it will run out of power and have to be reset if it's not worn for a day or two.
>>29851149
>Must not be G-Shock
Why for no G-Shock? I dropped $60 on one about a year and half ago and it's the only watch that's ever survived that long for me.
Looking for a home defense gun here in CO. I would've liked to get a handgun, but since I'm not a CO resident, can't change for other reasons, and don't want to drive to the east coast just to pick up a gun, my options are limited to long guns here.
I'm considering an AR-15 because of its popularity and the fact that it's just a well-loved gun, but I really have no experience with long guns. Budget ~$700. Any recommendations, /k/?
>>29850389
What are your restrictions on ar15's? 15rd magazines only right? That's more than enough for home defense.
>aero/spike's/anderson lower
>bcm upper
>arisaka defense light
>primary arms micro dot
>sling
Should cost you ~800 but you'll be set pretty well
>>29851126
>>aero/spike's/anderson lower
>>bcm upper
What are things to consider when mixing upper/lower parts as opposed to the full thing? And why would you recommend doing that in this case?
700 for the gun or total?
There will be at least $50 in additional costs.
If $700 total I would recommend a Hipoint carbine in your preferred caliber (9, 40 or 45).
It seems like you're on a budget so I would suggest 9mm because it's cheaper than the other calibers.
The rifle may be ugly as hell but they'll work.
Hey /k/
I know you guys have an eye for detail so I come to you with this picture/clip.

Do any of you recognise the uniform that this soldier is wearing or what era it is from? The high collar thing looks a bit like an officers uniform or maybe it looks like a floatation device.
Can anyone tell what it is?
>>29850227
It's an ad for a game that will inevitably be shit.
>>29850227
Look at the last few frames, there is a soviet looking cap.
And look at the color of the uniform
looks like a soviet conscript to me
>>29850311
0:02 you can see what looks like a gap line in the dust on his face which could mean an old timey gas mask
