Hi /k/,
I was wondering, how does your family react to you owning firearms/weapons? I live on my own, but my mother refuses to come see me unless I "get rid of the guns". Almost everyone on my mother's side unanimously agrees that I'm not to be allowed to family events... and I was disinvited from my grandnother's funeral last week. I showed up anyways, but the fact that they're trying to push me away from my cousins and my (now deceased) grandmother is disgusting. Is this abnormal? I thought America was supposed to be land of the free, not...

you family is a bunch of cunts, they should love you and accept you no matter what. especially something as common as owning guns.

I still live with my parents, I am 20 and I wanted to get a gun, my parents are okay with it, but my older brother is anti gun and he has tried to kill himself before so I am not sure if I want a gun. Like if somebody broke into the house and I had a gun it would be locked behind 2 doors so its futile anyways.
>>29864286
My family is kinda fudd-lite. They're all for deregulation of full autos and supressors, but all they really like are hunting rifles.
They're all extremely pro-gun
Show your family k the revolver was my last purchase

Yes, I own 5, I just bought 7 more. No mods necessary.
Tested in both a 3rd gen and a 4th gen 19.
Also, they have extra freedom capacity for $10.30 per mag
>Do they work?
Yes, I own 8. You do need to dremel out the mag catch a bit in order for it to stay locked in when you fire, but other than that it works fine. Great for the range or any rifle that takes...

Ya, gonna have to agree with the first post. My Glock 19 cam with an old LEO mag, and two KCIs. They work, but only if I load about 13 max. They are the only mags to ever make my glock hiccup. Thanks for trying to look out though.

WHAT TO BRING:
Food and water to sustain yourself for as long as you intend to stay. Food for the group also -deeply- appreciated.
Sleeping bag, pad, or cot. Tent for those who don't wish to utilize the buildings, most of which are safe. (Some are sketchy, but most are solid.)
Clothing appropriate for late-June in the northern Sierras, warm during the day and cool in the evening. Canteen and backpack suggested.
TARGETS, we're gonna need tons, and they can be made from nearly anything.
TRASH...

Is the scar as great as everyone seems to think? I've been looking for ages to fingerfuck one but have had no luck.

Unfortunately for FN SOCOM dropped the transition program. Its still a good gun but it's far too overpriced for little gained over the AR platform.
>>29858374
Brutal. So if I'm wanting to get into 308 it's better to stick with AR-10?
It's a good gun and will be better in 5 years when the price comes down on used ones.
What theatre of WW2 did one of your ancestors fight in and on which side?
Great Grandpa in the Pacific.
Then a few distant relatives fought for Ze Germans.

None. Grandpa did "peacekeeping" in France after the war.

It’s time for another episode of /k/ Planes! This time, we’ll be looking at the bombers of the United States Air Force.
Soon after the Second World War came to an end, the Army Air Forces broke off completely from the Army, forming an entirely new branch known as the Air Force. As Cold War tensions rapidly ramped up, the Air Force soon found itself on the forefront of this standoff, using their nuclear-armed bombers to serve as a deterrent. With the bombers of the Strategic Air Command being the only way of delivering nukes in the early years of the Cold War, bomber...

In 1940, the USAAF issued requirements for a new light bomber to succeed the A-20. Douglas, capitalizing on their success with the bomber, designed a new machine along the same lines as the A-20 making use of various major advances in technology. The new bomber used the same three-man crew and general layout, but a new laminar-flow wing was developed and more powerful Pratt & Whitney Double Wasps were mounted, allowing for vastly improved armament. Two remotely operated twin-.50 turrets were installed in dorsal...

While the latter two prototypes would not enter production, the original design was a smashing success. Carrying double the payload specified, it still managed to come in 700lb under the projected weight. The bomber was ordered into production as the A-26B, with the first production variant replacing the glazed nose with a solid nose fitted with six machineguns. Production of the A-26B began in 1943. With an emphasis placed on ground-attack, the bomber was soon fitted with four underwing blisters each holding two...

The A-26 was first deployed to the 5th Air Force in the Pacific, making its debut in July 1944 over New Guinea. Unfortunately, operational evaluations found the cockpit to be poorly designed, so the A-20 persisted with frontline units. Only after major changes to the canopy and armament took effect in early 1945 did pilots in the Pacific really start to accept the bomber. The 7th Air Force began receiving the bomber in March 1945, opening up operations from Okinawa into China and Japan. Unfortunately, the delays...

Is it possible to defeat insurgency? Any stories from /k/ommandos that served overseas?
They haven't been in power since they were ousted in December 2001. That's not a win.
>>29856416
>implying the insurgency itself won
>spent the first one using CIA weapons and cash
>spent the second one using left behind slavshit
Nuclear or chemical is the best way to guarantee everyone within a certain radius is dead, but we never used them in Afghanistan.
How does /k/ feel about reloading? Money saver or life ender?
Why would you think there's anything wrong with reloading?
Just focus and don't be an idiot.
>Spend 0.07 for a 7.62x39 round and shoot it
OR
>Spend 2 hours reloading a 0.06 round
I really want to get into high volume shooting and have a reason to reload.
