whalecum, newfag.
Why does Germany make the best guns? The P320 and H&K VP9 are hans down the best German guns in the market atm
Korth makes some nice guns. I would love a Korth Combat and a PRS.

How is it that Germany has been cucked so consistently by Austria throughout its entire history?
Belgium better
So yesterday was just looking at pictures in google images. It was then i saw this picture of two soldiers. Other one of them had a supressed PKM. That got me thinking, aren't machineguns primaly a loud weapon that is used to supress enemies. More I thinked about it I came up with few options: A) Suppressor is so that the enemy would have a harder time locating the shots. B) Its there so that the gunners ears wont explode. C) It's the special forces, everything needs to be cool and special. D) Just no reason, just looks kinda cool. Give your thoughts /K/.
some people enjoy their hearing, just let it be
>>30603958
With unsupressed machine guns you basically have to change the barrel after so and so many shot because it gets too hot. I imagine if you used a supressed machine gun like a machine gun is intended it would get hotter even faster. Unless we're talking about a water cooled machine gun.
have webm of silenced dshk, but 4chan too shitty poor to upload more than 4mb...
hey /k/ I've been looking at buying some smoke grenades for emergencies and signalling, also just to generally have. but I keep finding that military smoke grenades maybe considered destructive devices but can't get a clear answer. it seems to be a very grey area. so does anyone here own any smoke grenades or know the actual laws on them? I'am thinking it may be illegal to use but not to buy. anyways any input would be great.
Depends
If they have a .mil fuse with some primary explosive that could be removed and used on another explosive, then they're probably illegal
I'm sure there's legal smoke "grenades" that you can buy, though
>>30604063
I thought about that but there are guys selling old new stock military grenades on gunbroker here is one of them and it doesn't say that I need a background check or a ffl or any licensing to purchase. http://www.gunbroker.com/item/570503381
>>30604108
I'm sure it'd be fine then
What are the chances of UK Bros getting some regulations removed and I can finally shoot a desert eagle one handed like in a movie?
>>30603900
Never happen. As far as Britain is concerned the gun argument is settled. If anything they'll make it hate speech to talk about relaxing gun regulations.
Get rid of those dress wearing idiots and you may
Curious as to what the general opinion of /k/ is on homemade armaments. Let's assume a scenario in which there is a substantial lack of arms (Red Dawn, NWO, whatever you mongloids want) and one would have to create one. What is /k/'s favorite homemade weapon?
Bleach based explosives are always fun but they have a shit shelf life.

Then again there's nothing wrong with filling a wine bottle with petrol/Styrofoam napalm.
Australian Pattern Luty and Gel Ignite for when stuff needs to go boom.
Hi /k/ so a tonight I got some motivation and decided to make my own camo, can you tell me what I should change
>>30603265
shit wrong one
Did you just draw lines in paint then fill it in with the bucket tool?
>>30603286
Pretty much
P90! P90! P90!
>>30603260
Can I have some of whatever you are on?
>>30603272
I'd like some too. Also what the fuck is that in the upper left of the picture?
>>30603319
Thats the early concept of the p90 I believe
I have a gorgeous M96 Swedish for sale and I found a buyer quickly for the asking price but the fucker blurted out that he is about to sporterize this all matching walnut beauty.
>No way Jose you're not getting it
Do you guys feel that it's our duty to guard fine surplus against wanton destruction and fudding? Before you call me autist think about it for a fucking second. There are plenty of modern options out there, but Swedish arsenals are depleted, Swiss arsenals are prohibited to export to the US, and most other choice arsenals...

I don't think that it's as much as /k/ hating sporterized milsurp, we just hate shitty sporterizing jobs, irreversable bubbaing to pristine collectors firearms, and bubba putting $200 worth of shit on his $300 Norinco SKS and selling it on armslist for $600
>>30603120
It doesn't bother you that the artifacts of the days long gone are irreversibly changed? Cmon man
What I don't get is why anyone in this day and age would choose to sporterized an intact milsurp rifle, rather than working on one of the thousands and thousands of already bubba'ed 'surps out there, and making something good out of them. Would be cheaper, too.
Hey /k/, I was saving up for a SCAR but when I was looking through Simpson Ltd's catalog I saw this:
http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_info.php?products_id=43578
It's an SSG 82. I had never heard of them before and from what I could find they were sharpshooter rifles made for East German anti-terror units. It's chambered for 5.45x39mm, which seems odd for a sharpshooters rifle.
I have enough to buy it, but should I? These seem really rare because the description mentions that Century imported only 600 out of a total of 2,000 manufactured,...

I'll bump for you anon
Do you want to operate or shoot a precision rifle?
>>30602983
I do wanna operate and it'd be nice to have one because I don't own an AR, but I'm a sucker for milsurp and interesting pieces of firearms history too.
I'd like to get a kalashnikov and I have plenty of experience, but I have almost no clue as to all the different manufacturers and models and their individual quality.
Suggestions, guys? I could go as high as $2,000
DDI. American-made, superb quality for the price (around 600), fantastic guns.
>>30604413
this guy is an idiot
>>30602815
you want a russian made one if you can get your hands on one
What are some things you constantly see be parroted on /k/ that are total utter bullshit?
>double strike capability
>high bore axis
>ar500 plates
>"gucci"
>Exetershit
>Rust xDD
>Meme caliber
>Glock 19 is be all, end all CCW
>Glocknade
But for real tho, how do you mean by "Gucci"? Gucci gun/caliber? We Gucci? Gucci Mane?
>>30602409
>how do you mean by "Gucci"?
People buying shit for their ar15's without knowing what it does because herd mentality. See: /arg/ buying geissele 2 stage triggers not knowing the purpose of a 2 stage over a single stage
Bore axis isn't a meme. It's physics.
Maybe I'm misunderstanding what you're saying though.
Has the ATF come out with a new form 1 yet? My friend is looking to fill out some stamps after 41f and he wants to fill out the forms now but I wasn't sure if it would be possible to send off the pre 41f forms after July 13th. I'm also interested in doing the same but I can't seem to find any new forms yet. Also QTDDTOT
If I can't find a small enough set screw for the rear sights of my pistol could I just put red or blue locktite inbetween the cracks and call it a day? I used a hammer and punch to get the rear sights in so it's pretty snug in there right now.
>>30552822
No, but yes. Don't expect it to last on a big gun.
>>30552822
Pretty much this >>30552832
I would recommend blue locktite so its not as permanent as red and can be removed with enough heat.
The Mini-14 is inferior in every way to the AR-15. Discuss.
What if I've got a problem that no one else can help?
>>30602349
Dat Damascus tho.....
So why are revolvers popular among criminals and thugs ? Is it because of the whole "no shells on the ground" thing ? Also, would the bullet it self be traceable ?
>Also, would the bullet it self be traceable ?
CSI is horseshit and ballistic fingerprinting is voodoo. It has never been a contributing factor in any conviction.
They're small, cheap, and common. It's the same reason every other common crime gun is so common.
Shell casings really don't mean anything as "ballistic fingerprinting" is CSI bullshit and not a real life thing. At most you might find a useable fingerprint on a casing, but I don't think the average criminal worries about that.

is a firing pin's primer strike matchable to a given struck primer?
