'sup /k/,
I work in R&D for a firearms manufacturer and we're having a brainstorming today about possible future products we could make in the field of electronics surrounding infantry weapons (pistols, assault rifles and machine guns). It can be inside the weapon, accessories or even armoury stuff.
So /k/, if you have any idea for some cool stuff you'd like to see on the market in a few years, now is the time to speak up.
lol such lies out of your massive lying mouth

Make a portable railgun.
>>29973899
Bayonet mounted vibrators.
>READ MANUAL BEFORE USE
I bet you didn't even read the booklet for games in the back seat on the way home from the store
fucking plebs, man.
>>29973662
>back seat
>not reading booklet while driving

>mfw none of my guns have this autistic bullshit printed on them
Reporting from behind enemy lines, /k/. The battle is nearly lost, and our funds run low as the middle class die out and the white republicans leave California. Currently feeding myself with half my daily budget(after expenses) of 27 dollars.
I'm going to try and make some more revenue by renting out the drill in my shop for completing 80% lowers and such. I have a drill press, and maybe 10k worth of tools used for horology, and i'm wondering if anyone can give me some advise me as to what i will need to make this a legit source of income. Please help by answering...

An actual mill is preferable to just a press. Hit up YouTube or something for tips.
Legality? 0%. If you build it, it's for your use only.
You would need a manufacturing license to sell completed lowers.
Uppers are fine to sell, they're just a "component" rather than a "firearm"
Trawl the net, it's not difficult to find info on 80% builds.
So, they're giving old M60s uprated engines, replacing hydraulic turret actuators with electric servos, installing electronic targeting systems and mounting a 120mm gun.
Thoughts?

>>29972777
why?
>>29972777
The philli[ines, taiwan, or some other country have been wanting some american tanks for a while but cant afford Abrams. This will be great for them.
>>29972827
Because M60s are sexy.
Does /k/ approve of World of Warships?
Does it actually matter?
what is important is if the game is fun to play, the people who fuss over the smallest details even when it's not a simulator will always find shit to complain about so who cares
>>29972650
I was an Alpha tester and I loved it. Then they added the US Battleships and I dont know why I couldnt get into it. I think it was because I couldnt play the US BBs like the Jap BBs

When you go hunting deep innawoods how many rounds do you take with you?
I've never gone, but want to go this fall. Got a 308. Should I just bring 2-3 mags full? (9-15 rounds total)
If you take more you will be inclined to shoot more so you may take poor shots. That is just my opinion, I may be wrong.
>>29972542
Yeah, but what about for bears, cougar, and moose? Got to have a reload too, right?
>>29972518
Usually 200 rounds. Besides hunting, I tend to do some general target practice...Plus need extra ammo for democracy skin walkers.
New idea for maximum keks:
Why don't we just get a bigass bomber, but instead of bombs we'll drop guns.
IE, carpet bomb kebabs with nuggets, and bayonet them. Would the rifles still work after being dropped? Could they be used by the enemy?
If we use SKS's but modified to take 75 round drum mags and with stuck firing pins so they slamfire on full auto, how long would they fire and what would the spread be like?
Could we just drop bullets? That might actually work, and it would cost less than bombs maybe?
Could we just drop bullets? That might actually work, and it would cost less than bombs maybe?
No, because the bullets would never exceed terminal velocity and would be like getting pelted with pebbles
>>29972438
Seriously take your shit thread and kill yourself.
You are why /k/ is so terrible
>>29972455
How high would we need to drop them from to be fatal?
Niggers around here love shooting into the air on New Year's and plenty of people die from falling rounds.
Do the rounds go higher into the air than what a plane can reach?
is there a helicopter that can drop bombs?
>>29972181
How old are you?
Yes.
All of them.
>>29972279
>All of them.
the Apache and Blackhawk can drop bombs?
lmfao
tell me why i shouldnt buy a px4 storm?
Ive only read good reviews about it.
also, hangun thread
If you like the m9 and want something a bit lighter, go for it.
One person who carries one and shoots competitively is Ernest Langdon. This guy is ridiculous with beretta pistols and he wrote a pretty good article on it.
http://www.gunnuts.net/2015/08/17/ernest-langdon-and-the-beretta-px4/
Apparently, it's extremely underrated and overlooked compared to most pistols out in the market. If you're going to get one, get a G Conversion.

No reason why you should ever "not buy a gun"
Here are the reasons you should buy one.
>Rotating bolt (reduced recoil)
>Basically an upgraded and underrated cheetah
>They don't make them anymore, so while there is a huge stock pile once they are out they are out.
>Did I mention underrated? Their asking price is fucking rock bottom. I still see NIB ones going for...

They do dude. They just announced a compact carry model at shotshow 2016. You scared me for a second.
>$400
probably undersirables like .40's and DAO
double barrels will always have a place in my heart, even though I know there's more practical options out there.
Anyone else fallen in love with outdated and mostly unpractical firearms?
dumping pics of my CZ
I just came back from the gun shop and looking at guns seriously for the first time, I am going to give my impressions of what I tried. Everything is in 9mm unless noted otherwise.
>Walther CCP
grip was amazing. all controls were easy to reach and actuate, really no problems with it. slide could have been easier to grip and apparently it has had manufacturing issues, though. I enjoyed trying this one.
>Walther PPS
very similar to the CCP. felt a bit off, though. I don't remember why.Comment too long. Click here to view the full text.
>Beretta 92FS
easily my favorite from the whole visit. fit like a glove, just perfect grip. everything was easy to reach and actuate. slide felt great to pull back. slide release was perfect and easy. magazine release felt good enough. trigger felt great. too fucking big to carry but I might buy it anyway, no joke.
>some Kimber 1911's that were $1,000-$1,500, this is basically for all of the 1911's I tried
slide release is very far up, very much disliked that on all of the 1911's. everything...

>Desert Eagle in .50 AE
tried it for giggles, like everyone does. feels very, very good. the slide is probably the nicest to grab from its ridiculous size, very easy to pull back. thick grip felt great. obviously not taken seriously, but left thinking positively of it.
>Ruger LCP
two fingers on the grip. it felt okay. being extremely small is its only memorable trait. a very forgettable pistol.
>Ruger LC9
it felt better than the Shield, but it felt worse than the XD-S. I don't remember this one very much. it was just an LCP in 9mm.
if I remember anything else, I'll post it. if I was to choose between all of these, it'd be between the following with no order
>Heckler & Koch VP9
>Beretta 92FS
>one of the Sig Sauers, would have to try them all again.
>Glock 19
>S&W Airweight(or maybe another revolver that is even better)
>Walther CCP if the manufacturing issues are all old news and taken care of
>MAYBE the XD-M
VP9 and 92FS were practically PERFECT. The PPK/S felt perfect, barring the magazine release, but is dumb for what it is in 2016. The CCP and Glock 19 felt very middle-ground. The XD-M is close to being very good, but the need for an extended magazine is very annoying.
You should try a cz 75. If you really liked how the Beretta feels youd probably like that a little more.
Aside from the standard warnings do they ever communicate with one another on a more casual level? Strike up a conversation or something?
What do you think they would even say to each other if they could?

there are stories of american pilots holding up playboys to the glass of the cockpit for the russian tail-gunners to see.
too bad the russian probably had a hotter girlfriend/wife than the american 90% of the time that exchange happened.

ITT: Guns that you have no real use for, but seem really fun anyways

The ammo is way too expensive for this to be fun for me, but I do like the concept.
.22wmr is my main coyote hunting caliber. Very under rated

Where can I find evidence to disprove my friend?
Here is what hapenned.
I went to my friend's home to get back my Callf Of Duty PS4 bluray.
While he was searching the disk, I was looking on his desk and there was a CZ gun, I guess it was the CZ52 or CZ25, I don't remember what he told me.
I checked and it was empty, I'm sure it was empty, no bullets loaded or in the mag. And I gave some empty shoots like pew pew pew. He saw me playing with his gun and went all mad.
After I went home he called me saying that I broke his gun.
I...

For one, you're a fucking asshole.
Second, dry-firing CAN damage a firearm.
>>29971445
kys u dry firing son of a bitch
>>29971445
Dry firing can damage the firing pin in the long term but it wouldn't break from you doing it just a few times, so if the firing pin actually broke in the brief time you had your hands on it that means it was fucked by someone else well beforehand.
If you like pistols with thin grips, that's simply because you're sub-consciously thinking about masturbating your pencil-dick and you're remembering how good it feels. Thick, long cock master race reporting in.
