Ive got pic related.
UK here and real guns are somewhat hard to come by, a lot of hoops to jump through to do it legit and Id rather not even attempt to buy a gun illegally.
Anyway, my air pistol when fired at a paper back book tore 37 pages and the cover which was a little thicker, and left a visible mark on another 20 or....how much damage could this do to a person?? Pretty sure if i shot someone in the eye then that eye is fucked for life and it would definately break skin but i doubt it would be lethal.
Its most definitely not a toy and i dont use it for self defense, I go target shooting from time to time, im just wondering how much damage this can do to a person....im fairly accurate with it, i can hit a cigarette at 30 feet....but beyond that wind and drop become factors....point being...if i shot all 6 bbs at someones face at close range do you think it would incapacitate them at all or just piss them off?
Are we any closer to having a single uniform across all services /k/? Or are the Joint Chiefs somehow resisting this change?
>that ranger tab
It won't happen anytime soon at least, I can see the marines keeping their current camo for another 10 or so years at least, all other branches are sometimes allowed to use a multicam derivative when working with the army, that's about as close as we'll see for a while.
/k/ filename thread: we should have these more often edition.
Chinese surplus /k/,
Will it try to kill me ?
Just found very cheap chink 7,62. Just have no idea how it behaves
I m in europe fyi
It probably won't kill you. As long as you're not using a shit shovel AK or khyber pass copy, you should be ok.
ITT we decide what's the best DMR
which one do you think is best and why?
By process of elimination, we can discard the M14 (never properly bedded), M14 EBR (frontheavy POS) and VSS (arguably not a DMR).
That just leaves 2 SVDs, 2 AR10s and a SCAR. At that point, its just personal preference and mission profile desu.
What's the current equivalent to what mosin nagant was 5/10 years ago? Aka cheapest available actually decent rifle to elevate me from noguns to hasguns
Ruger 10/22: affordable, decent, plenty of parts/customisable, good intro platform for beginner.
I need a semi-auto pistol with a hammer that you do not have to rack the slide on to cock and works similarly to a double action revolver
what guns do this?
You know what you must do. Legion or bust.
>We will need this new Gripen E to compensate for the fact that we will have a lot fewer aircraft in the future.
Only in Sweden can they cut the air force in half and call it an improvement.
>Bren gun > MG34-42
Is he right?
his argument goes boils around to
bern is better because they country that produced it won the war and subsequently it promoted and developed it's military tech and promoted it's arms abroad
germany did not
>Bren gun > MG34-42
it's a cringe worthy video from it's begging to end
Full auto is meant for suppression but would it also be viable in a self defense situation?
id use a beretta 93r for home defense
I did it again. I changed my mind about which MOS to join.
MEPS is Monday and I need to choose soon.
Yes, I know I will be dying for Israel, yes I know Cav Scouts basically do Infantry's job.
Other than those reasons, which should I do. Help me out /k/. Experiences? Thoughts?
>Russian Airborne will be testing the Typhoon at the end of 2016
Probably as option if Bumerang ends up as shit.
when were you when MRAP flies?
Your pic is wrong, m8.
The VDV testing 'mini-typhoon'.
>Wildlife authorities in Zimbabwe may kill up to 200 lions due to a drop in the number of trophy hunters venturing to the country following Cecil the Lion's death last year.
>Walter Palmer, the American dentist who paid to kill the 13-year-old beast, was heavily condemned for his actions, which has driven trophy hunters - and their cash - away from the southern African state, claim conservationists.
Serious question. The wierd kid came into class with a NATURAL SELECTION t-shirt. PIC unrelated I don't have anything on my phone
A very wise man once said
But seriously why are there overnight 5 brands of lever action shotguns for Australia? Its an alternate reality where the pump action was never invented now
