Hey /k/ anyone want to #boycottCalifornia? Right now a couple of antigun bills are going to Cali legislature:

i suppose you should a mail to the federal court and tell them the issue about california laws and how it step on the 2nd ammendment to everyone living in that state
i suppose this is how you should do it
As a fellow califag I'm with you. So long as I'm capable of voting I will live in CA and play my part. Nothing in this state will change if people keep leaving, and it will only get worse until some landmark case or supreme court ruling finally declares all this bullshit rightfully unconstitutional.

Lmao, Cali sucks.
Vice has made yet again another brilliant piece of """journalism""" pertaining to firearms again.

>>29987165
Why do liberals feel so endangered by people empowering themselves against the government, spending good time with other likeminded people and God forbid, having guns?
Vice should stick to showing how the Israelis are illegally settling the West Bank and oppressing the Palestinian Muslims.
>>29987165
Militias are pretty shit though desu.
>play dress up with pretend military friends
>every other person is an alphabet agency member
>waste time preparing for something that will never happen
>be cringeworthy af in general
Why is the 40 considered the worst of both worlds? I get that it has the limited round capacity of the 45, but what is the downside it shares with 9mm?
well yeah
.40 is a bit snappier so people step down to the 9mm. It also has more firearm options than the .40. Bulk ammo buys are another consideration.
A benefit is in most cases you can buy a barrel and if it needs it a mag swap and your .40 can fire 357 sig... But that is a bit of a range toy aspect than defensive carry.
>>29987153
Many people think the 45's benefits in how big a hole it makes someone is negligible compared to the 9mm. When you take magazine capacity and recoil into account these people choose the 9mm every time.
The difference between the 40 and the 9 in hole size is even less and you have to deal with more recoil and less capacity again (though not as dramatic a difference).
If you have to have more power (hate using that word), you wont really notice it until you get to 10mm/357 when compared to the 9mm
Are there any left wing militias in the U.S.? Anarchists or libertarian socialists of some kind like the Zapatistas in Mexico? Why does the militia movement seem to be dominated by the right?
They all got V& in the 70's
US government has been pillaging alternative sects for years.
>>29987099
because left-wing in america means hipster liberal faggots who oppose guns and the military
Hi /k/, I'm writing a short story and I need your help with a premise. Is there any conceivable reason that three enlisted privates in any branch of the US military would be dicking around in the sand dunes of some Middle Eastern shithole with no backup or base in sight? Would they have been sent out on patrol? Would they be scouting for mines or IEDs, or do robots and shit do that already? The reason itself doesn't really matter, I just need a plausible, non-Hollywood justification for three privates to be out there by themselves.
Much obliged, lads.
>>29987080
No, those three private's would absolutely not be alone out in the desert together.
>>29987080
Maybe they're into gay stuff.
Inb4 all military does gay stuff...
>>29987080
They got drunk and walked off base, but ended up trapped behind their own mine field with no radio and no idea how to get back without getting blowed up.

Alright you cis white male scum, what would you carry around for self defense if it could be anything besides conventional weapons such as guns, blades, and clubs?

I'd carry around bombs. Truth bombs.

In September I'll have a 25 hour layover in Amsterdam.
Honestly, I don't give a fuck about smoking weed, buying a whore, or visiting the house of jew. I just want to go explore some WW2 sites, bunkers and shit.
Where do I go? There has to be things like this not far from the city right? Anyone?

Hilarious video though. I wonder if there are VR training sims that use controllers with realistic weight and recoil? Imaging all the money you'd save by just picking up a virtual CZ75 and training in your living room!

I'm not sure if the UK owns any Ospreys, I do know however there is a USAF base over there in the UK that has CV-22's stationed.

Hey /k/ Califag here. I'm looking to buy a 10/22 and throw a bullpup stock on it but my question is does it require a bullet button? I couldn't find an up to date answer that satisfied me and from what I understand rim fire guns are exempt from the Bb laws but I just want to be sure.
No you don't.

Sweet. Bullpup here I come.

... I don't hate this. Who makes it?
I've heard stories about tanks being disabled in the middle of a combat zone, and they heard RPGs hitting them like "thud.... thud" and I recall hearing about one tank crew in a disabled tank taking over 50 RPG and missile hits.
Something ridiculous.
Firstly... is this true?
Secondly, does this mean the only way to kill the crew of a disabled tank is to pile wood under and around the tank, and burn them out?
How horrifying.
>>29986237
If you are crazy enough to try and siege a disabled tank I don't think starting a bonfire around it is going to help.
You know that a tank crew can still move the turret and fire both the coax machinegun and the main gun without power?
Sure loading the main gun is a bitch in manual mode but it can be done.
The Abrams can take an amazing amount of punishment. But most of the stories you hear of one taking dozens of RPG's is from the stupid Haji's not removing the arming pins from...

>is this true?
It could be but probably isnt. If the armor is heavy enogh to withstand a RPG then more RPGs wont do anything if they dont hit the exact same spot.
>Secondly, does this mean the only way to kill the crew of a disabled tank is to pile wood under and around the tank, and burn them out?
First of all, most tanks are well protected against fire and can even take a direct hit from a napalm bomb. So that would be stupid. If...

So, as I've learned, basically everything the general population believes about a modern nuclear war is wrong. It will not end the world, it would not cause a nuclear winter or firestorms, civilian losses would not be much bigger than in WWII, and so on.
So, if massive employment of strategic nuclear weapons is actually entirely feasible and workable strategy that will not end the world, and nuclear deterrence is a sham essentially, why haven't anyone resorted to its use yet?
>>29986154
Because the leaders of the nation's like being leaders.
Nuclear war isn't a fucking cakewalk. It'll destroy loads of infrastructure , etc. We all lose, that's why.
OPPENHEIMER , I summon you!
Because the political leadershit comes from what you call the general population and usually is not educated enough to understand neither the physics of nookular combat any further than "oh shit thats scary", nor the stragegems that would play into something like a global thermonuclear war. This results a general "nukes are bad mkay" attitude, supported by ignorance, misunderstandings and 50's memes (>fallout) which stops them from ordering nuclear forces to deploy.
>>29986154
Because thermonuclear warfare isn't something you can just shrug off just because things wouldn't actually end up like Fallout or On the Beach.
