This wont pull them out of bankruptcy, but it's good to see colt doing something different. Now all the y need to do is make the python again...

Honestly amazed they were able to recognize the widespread demand for retro ARs considering how absolutely inept they've been in keeping up with the wants and needs of the civilian market
>looking at you, 1908 Hammerless 'reproduction'
We'll see how close they keep to the original.
>>30030212
Looks like they're doing a good job so far.
>>30030225
It's usually the little things, like the firing selector and dust cover. The FH appears to be a three-prong (maybe it's just the meh-quality pic), which should be a cage hider, but it's not like that isn't hard to replace. Again, we'll see.
Is a bayonet a good idea for a home defend?
Yes, you can stab and shoot from a difference
>>30029769
Distance
No, makes the weapon longer then it would have to be.
Right.
Lets face it, every one of us got something we can't afford. Be it a gun, mortgage or hit on THE president.
So dream on. what would you get or do if you had unlimited funds/ power.
If you have gained your dreams, please do post them and feel no shame.
Whatever you post, there will be some massively jelly person wishing he could have your papermache shiv in order to escape the reality.
>>30029747
as op, if you missed the obvious I kinda want few boxes of 9×39mm merely to see if there is any magic on the caliber.
>>30029747
>what would you get or do if you had unlimited funds/ power
>set up a micronation devoted to small arms production
>churn out slavshit clones until the market implodes

>have the Ruskies and Chinese funnel their arms to us so we can rebrand and sell them, effectively circumventing the...

You missed chechenia by a decade or so, but if you get some funding, we shall have fun.
Why?
>>30029738
its a gator navy carrier. they have those onboard. besides its normal cause the gunners need practice.
>>30029738

What kind of knife do you carry, /k/?
I've been really looking into what I want to take with me on a daily basis, but I've found that I'm quite picky. I don't want anything too thick to be in my pocket all the time, otherwise I've been looking at the Skeletool CX or the Swiss Trekker knife.
Recently I've taken to looking at the Buck Vantage, seems like a nice looking knife for an affordable price.
You guys got any opinions?
>Tfw I fell for the al Mar meme
Still a good knife
Samefagging yes but vantage is fine, watch nutnfancys video on it if you've got a high autism tolerance and 45 minutes to spare
I carry a Gerber Suspension multi-tool
Done great by me for 10 years
How are you going to defend against gun confiscation, /k/? What's your plan. The government has JETS and TANKS. What are you going to do against a JET or a TANK when they come to take your guns?
shit in my hand and throw it at the intake while screaming shall not be etc
>>30029501
But they have TANKS
>>30029532
climb inside the TANK and smear feces on all the controls, thus grossing out everyone inside, preventing them from operating the TANK.
How?
>>30029407
Basically to use theses, you had to get into point blank range.
Still makes me wonder why they weren't developed into rocket artillery.
>>30029407
its basically a mortar/siege type weapon
>>30029407
Humans make everything vaguely reminiscent of faces. I'm not sure why or how either.
ITT improvised weapons.
>>30029398
what are you gonna do with that
smack a spider
>>30029400
you can sting your opponents hand and make them drop their knife or gun
>>30029400
if it's rolled really tight it becomes pretty hard, and if you use it to 'stab' and not swat, it can be really useful - think of it as someone 'stabbing' you with dull end of a stick. It won't break the skin, but it will hurt as hell.
alternatively this https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Millwall_brick similar concept, different execution
Just look at 'em and masturbate furiously with a pitot heater in your ass. Plane video/gif/webm/appreciation thread!

I don't really frequent /k/. Do ya mind explaining the issue with this?
>>30029129
They misspelled .30-30 Winchester as '.30.30'
So, In we stopped building battleships because it was unpractical because of their size and such and how a cruiser or destroyer could destroy it.
Now destroyers are the same size as battleships.
>>30029098
>So, In we stopped building battleships because it was unpractical
Battleships stopped being practical because of air superiority.
There are carriers larger than most battleships long before destroyers were.
>>30029795
Ok, sauce this please.
>>30030466
Battleship Yamato or something like that.
How well rounded of a /k/ommando are you? Do you work out, dress well, cook right, etc. Do your hobbies and interests correlate with weapons or are they just a facet of the gemstone of your life.
>>30029073
>work out, dress well, cook right
Naw,
>dress well
I like to think so
>Cook Right
As well as a college student can, I can follow directions we wall as the next guy.
Weapons became my hobby after my hobby became my degree program (picrelated)
>gemstone of your life
Do you realize where you are?
>>30029073
>muh vanity
Literally for virgins trying to be bf material kys
>don't really work out but i do laps every morning
>dress average. jeans, dull plain shirts and boots
>only have /k/ related hobbies because that's all that interests me.
>diet is varied to keep away vitamin deficiency above all else
sure, a tortoise may fall asleep in my company but i'm fine being boring.
Basically this dumbass shot himself while he was cleaning his "loaded 22lr", he said he didn't notice for a couple of days.
He said that he pulled his gun above his chest (pointing towards himself) because his dog came and jumped up at him and most likely shot himself.
I think it's bullshit and he either did a ND or something else happened. What do you guys think? Also 22lr meme thread/

>all of these gear queers playing pretend Navy SEAL
pic related, the guys in normal clothes are Delta Force operators, the most professional and secretive guys that anyone
knows of, who aren't even acknowledged by the US Government to actually exist, and who SEALs commonly say they couldn't cut Delta recruitment. They're commonly recruited by the CIA for their extremely clandestine Special Operations Group, who the US Government also may deny all knowledge of any mission because the shit is so fucking legit and important. They...

Who cares. You're just a bunch of kids.
In Arizona I used to ride around on a broom handle with a horse head on it. I was as much of an old Western cowboy as you children are at Operating.
