Cabots is selling a matching pair of 1911s made from a meteorite - get on their level /k/ - and what do you think these will sell for?
>Even that we couldn’t settle for; so we built two, a matched left and right – serial numbers individualized to reflect the geographic earthly coordinates where the Gibeon meteor came to rest on our planet. The pistols are fully-functional – and resultant of their National Match barrels, accurate; verified both on the rest and in off-hand shooting. Leaving nothing to chance in terms of functionality, our engineers used electron beam technology to meticulously add bimetal support only to the frame/slide rails, hammer, guide rod and extractor of the...

Best Pistol caliber carbines? I know nutnfaggy said the hi point was good but I'm looking for a great 9mil carbine to suppress
Really anon? The Hipoint carbines are fun, but they aren't great for much.
I like all of the Sub 2000s I've been able to fondle, but the hard part for me has been finding one that isn't in .40
I don't know if .45 is super sonic out of a carbine barrel (probably is but I'm no expert) but I would get one in .45 for the simple fact that .45 is easily suppressed

I have recently hit a pay level that isn't quite fuck-you money for a single guy in his 20s, but I can smell it from here. I need a new wheel gun. What's the most ridiculous 6" .357 revolver still in production?
Chiappa Rhino. If you want to take it a step further and get something out of production, go for the Meatball.
So im turning 21 soon, looking to get a reasonably priced .38 handgun for CC. Let it be known im in the great peoples republic of cuckifornia so keep that in mind. Any info is appreciated. Thx guise
hey /k/, what constitutes a gun in the legal sense?
if i wanted to make mechanically functioning mockups of stuff from video games, what parts CAN'T it have? some of the guys around my shop say it has to have a plugged barrel and no firing pin, while other guys say it can't have an upper receiver at all. the ATF website talks about it just not being able to shoot bullets. whats the deal?
pic related is what i have access to. that and a pretty rad 3D printing shop.
Where do you live, anon?
Aside from a couple communist states that require gun registration, if you're in America you can build yourself a 100% real gun without going through any legal red tape as long as you don't intend to sell it for commercial purposes.
>if you're in America you can build yourself a 100% real gun without going through any legal red tape as long as you don't intend to sell it for commercial purposes.
thats the thing. i know a bunch of whales who would pay top dollar for this stuff. especially if all the parts move the way it does in the video game.
i wouldn't be mass producing. just doing one offs on commission.
Welp, you have a problem. In the U.S. the receiver is technically the firearm. That's the "frame" which holds all if the moving parts together. If you have the moving parts and they are working together, the frame you have it in is legally a firearm. Eben if the barrel is fake or obstructed.
was thinking about getting one because sharks, but it costs a huge amount more than a bangstick. are they actually cool enough to warrant the price?
I'm considering getting pic related, but can't decide on a full length arginine Mauser or a carbine length. Anyone have experiences or preference?
Leaning toward the carbine right now.
I have the full length rifle OP, it's actually quite nice. I have a carbine sized mauser also and frankly the longer sight radius does wonders for the notch and post sights. In addition to that, it's just a really nice and quality made rifle, mine still has 100+ year old firebluing. Get a DWM made example and you have the best mauser out there. Shame ammo is hard to get. Pic related. Last rifle in the row.
OP here. I agree mausers are cool, and I like my swede. Maybe I'll just get both
Wrong pic. This can now be a Milsurp / arsenal thread if you guys want
LGS has one of the newer models (g3 or g4) of UTS-15 for $650. Apparently nobody wants to buy it because the gen 1 was such a piece of shit, but I've heard the issues people complained about have been fixed now. Should I pick it up?
Why not? If it's really not a gen 1, it's a steal at that price. It seems like a neat novelty gun that, at the very least, you can flip for a profit during the next inevitable panic buy if you don't like it.
Greetings gentlesirs, what is the POU of a shotgun in this configuration, and what modifications would you enjoy?
It doesn't have a POU as it's just a POS.
Pistol grip only shotguns are retarded, have always been retarded, and will always be retarded. They have little defensive use, are not fun range toys after 100-200 rounds, and are useless for all but the most desperate sporting use.
No, pistol grips are still a problem, just more of a problem without a stock.
Shotguns are low rate of fire, high impulse. A grip that adds control at high rate of fire at the expense of transmitting recoil into the shooter's hand is silly. A traditional stock will transmit much more recoil energy into the shooter's shoulder than hand.
I live in central PA and is flecktarn a good camo to have all season long?
Also a Central Pa fag. Flecktarn is good, not quite green enough for summer though.
Didn't I just respond to you yesterday?
Anyway, fleck is good even if it's a bit too dark for spring/early summer.
I think I suggested some Soviet offerings which you may or may not have poo pood.
What is /k/ listening to?
