Pretty clever.

Fuck, work blocks that link.
Can you tl;dr this?
PTSD thread. Drinking to kill the feels while installing XCOM 2. TFW you want to shoot yourself but can't because your antifun family will blame guns because they don't get how fucked your head really is.
>>30079693
Wanna work through some stuff buddy? /k/ is actually pretty good at working through shit together
>>30079699
Not much to work through honestly. I've come to terms with the shit that happened to me in my childhood. I still can't sleep for shit, and since I quit weed my gf (who is now back in another state) started getting bruises all over her legs from me kicking in my sleep. Alcohol helps me fall asleep, but I feel exhausted as fuck when I wake up.
>>30079693
>TFW you want to shoot yourself
That is super fucked and I hope you can work through it before you hurt yourself man. I am at a pretty bleak point as well but ending myself seems I can't really put it into words. It seems appealing a times but ultimately not worth the cost both to myself and the people I care about.
Anyone carry appendix with a job that involves sitting most of the day? I just don't see how, especially with a Glock 19 which people say is "totally doable" appendix style. Hell I've even got a holster meant for appendix carry, and a proper gun belt.
bump
Help me /k/, I want to be able to rock with the cool kids and all the appendix carry benefits I've heard about. I've been carrying this "appendix holster" at 5 o'clock because it's much more comfortable there, even though it's still not near as comfy as my other gun's holster that has a loop at each side rather than the two close together.
stop carrying a glock 19
SKS thread: Bubba is evolving edition.
We've seen it, we've talked to the guy that owns, his dad built it and it's fucking fantastic.
That doesn't fit the definition of Bubba btw. Its not a hack job by any means
>>30079000
That's actually a pretty cool SKS. It's not all fucked up, it seems like an improved rifle.
What's the cringiest thing you've seen? I'll start.

he does not look happy.
I wouldn't either.
I know how he could've made that video better..

>I know how he could've made that video better
Sharpie in the pooper?
>>30078839
whats cringy here?
is it just the camo or am i missing something?
why didn't they just make anti air flak rockets, instead of anti air cannons?
you won't need that expensive and time consuming to build cannon. Just simple rails.
the whole mass of the rocket becomes shrapnel.
you can mass or ripple fire the rockets with a single triggering action.
>unguided rockets
>fired over long distances
>getting anywhere near the target
Pick 2.
>>30079214
You don't need to get close. You are just filling the sky with shrapnel. So you can hit tight formations of bombers.
>>30078795
Rockets have too much ballistic drop

Neat... but why?
>>30078865
To swarm radar defenses. Other companies claim that a tiny UAV has the same signature as an "F-15".
Now imagine what a cluster fuck that is going to be for the person watching that screen.
>>30078888
fairly sure this already exists as MALD, except this can be launched from the ground
I think World War 1 is the most interesting war. Probably the most terrifyingly awesome as well.
>Trench Warfare
>Biplanes with Machinegunners on the back zipping over the battlefield
>No man's land
>Bolt action wood & steel
>Huge empires fighting to the death
>Insane battles across desert jungle and forest

I have a question.
I've just read of the Austrian offensive in Italy (1917-18), and Italian counter-attack that rebuked the Austrians.
Austrians invaded with roughly 60 divisions. Italians had some 54-57 divisions.
Roughly 800,000 men per side.
Austrians manage to line up some 6,000 cannons and shoot shells weighing up to 720 Kg.
Now, from this site:

>Got carried away and forgot the question
Question is: is the 6,000 figure even thinkable?
And I'm asking not just in terms of deployment, but also in terms of economic capability of a country (Austria+Hungary).
What were they thinking when they decided to produce all that shit?
Who is the maker of the armor plates in this picture?
>>30078386
>pack attached directly to PC
>no hydration
garbage.
>>30078418
There quite a few reasons to attach a pack directly. but no hydration. agreed.
>>30078418
Whats wrong with the pack?
>sliding a bullet into a well greased chamber
>>30078379
I'll slide my bullet into your well greased chamber
Well lubed case maybe, unless you're doing some really specific black powder shit.
You just hose the entire inside of your gun with remoil don't you
>>30078379
Ocelot pls
What's your range's name, /k/?
public land.
>>30078347
Swan Falls Desert.
Can't stand being surrounded by fudds at the range.
Swan Creek
What factors determine an aircraft's "sortie rate"?
>>30078288
How many missions the aircraft and crew are fit to fly, and the logistics involving refueling and rearming the airframe...
>>30078288
Largely the amount of maintenance needed.
It's shocking how much downtime many modern aircraft require, to the point that they literally have to spend most of their time on the ground even under ideal circumstances.
>>30078316
Don't forget maintenance! Aircraft need a lot of that.
Can you silence black powder weapons?
It's a really stupid question but I'm curious.
Black powder is more explosive in nature... it burns much faster than smokeless.
As long as the projectile itself is subsonic, it should probably work.
The cleanup would be a bitch though.
thats the smallest hand I've ever seen.
Must be Trump.
>>30078285
Yeah, that can would get dirty in a hurry.
Hello /k/ I just got another handgun(G19) and I'm going to be getting my CC permit this summer. I'm looking for holsters and was seeing what people thought about the Incog Eclipse. I stumbled on this and I like the minimalist look, yet appears comfy/secure. Any other brands I should look at? Plan on carrying traditional IWB. Think I'll be buying the holster for my G26 but I also own a 19 which I'll have to buy one for also eventually. In school atm so can only afford one decent holster.
>>30078089
Look into Supertuck holsters. I'm also looking for a holster and I'm probably gonna grab me one of those.
>>30078089
I own one, it's pretty good for appendix carry if you want to carry a G19. I don't use it much anymore since I got a G43 but I stuck with Gcode
>>30078089
Not a bad holster.
Because I know people will recommend them, I would avoid the crossbreed type hybrid holsters, they have chintzy clips that I don't trust. I would recommend something with soft loops or at least a clip that is known for staying put.
Buying my first Mosin Nagant tomorrow, any better alternatives?
>>30078077
Buying 2
How much are you paying for it? If it's over $300, you have other options.
Only a few. Not being a perpetual virgin is at the top of the list
