Fucking UK laws m8s
What is this gun called, /k/?
So I picked up a keltec p3at to pocket carry when I ride my bicycle. This is the first .380 I've ever carried and it seems like it would be powerful enough to stop some pavement ape from robbing me of my life and/or property. I'm worried about it not penetrating enough so I carry FMJs like pic related. What does /k/ think?
I'm not /k/, but I think you're a damn moron.
You see this shit? Go buy a box.
Post yer hi powers
is it a new fad to wait until an old thread dies and then immediately start the same thread with the same picture again?
it's all right to just bump the old thread you know.
What is the optimal food for a food fight?
I figure it is something that would be messy and basically explode sticky gooey bits on impact but maintain its integrity in-flight as a projectile.
For instance an apple or orange would be good for accuracy and distance but pretty low impact as far as destructive force. On the opposite end of the spectrum something like noodles in sauce or soup would have a pretty limited range and accuracy, but would be pretty high impact.
But there has to be something in the middle that combines the best of both worlds
The humble Cream Pie surely is the best, if not the most iconic food fight ammunition
Will we ever see smart guns that are not about gun control?
What does /k/ think of my Savage .308 build? Glass is coming soon: an SWFA HD SS, Sightron SSIII, or Viper PST.
All my reviews I've seen on each generally have something to the effect of "I switched from [SWFA, Viper, Sightron] to [insert one of three listed again ]" so clarity and features are all on par. Anyone have any other recommendations on good glass that goes up to 20x, is mil-mil and is FFP?
Here you go, OP.
I would do the PST if for nothing but their customer service. Not to say the glass isn't good; I think they're all great. I was in your boat a bit ago and was also looking at the XRS and XTRII as well. I got pissed off and just bought the Razor Gen II 4.5-27.
Hey thanks man.
I looked at the Razor and it's my #1 choice, but my budget is < $1,500 for glass. I've been around enough coolguys who have done some 'real shit' shooting and F Class back at home, and I've heard more than once from two of them that spending anymore in the hopes of better glass is simply not necessary.
> not that the Razor isn't worth the price
> I know it is, just won't be paying that much
well, I´m in for a new rifle
and I really want one of those VZ58s, so here am I
my prefered version is the super short (compact) version, see pic related
the problem is, should I get in in .223 or 7,62x39?
the .223 would use standard ar mags, so things like BETA-C mags would work too
also, ammo is more common around here and mags are dirt cheap, like 10 bucks a piece
problem is the low muzzle velocity out of that short barrel
compared to the 7,62 version, the x39 version
> uses cheaper surplus ammo

x39 is great out of a short barrel
Knock yourself out and buy it. I haven't known anyone to regret it, and you'll have a cool piece
With that out of the way
AR FAGS AND AK TARDS I SUMMON YOU
Compact rifle choices
Pros: Sturdy, good design, cheap ammo, OK cost
Cons: no aftermarket, goofy mags
Pros: cheap-ish ammo, mags relatively easy to find, OK cost
Cons:limited aftermarket but still better than VZ, CYKA BLYAT
Pros: multiple chambering options available, mags plentiful, aftermarket huge, A E S T H E T I C

/k/, what is the best 3.4x reticle style?
I'm trying to recreate some / make my own
Personally, I love a simple dot in the middle of the scope, but it does miss out on drop/range estimation
But the problem with adding that to the reticle is it clutters up your view.
So what kind of design has the best overall combination?
Recommend me some good hunting rifles, /k/omrades.
What is your favourite firearm?
Mine is the FAL.
/k/ I really need your help right now guys I'm struggling out here
I bought my first gun a few months ago. Ever since I did, I've been thinking about killing myself again. It's been over 5 years since I felt suicidal and I could mostly chalk that up to hormones, but I'm older now and my life is by literally any metric great: decent job, doing well in university, healthy relationship, good friends. But ever since I got a firearm, I'll get this urge...this itch, almost, to just take it and blow my goddamn head off. The itch isn't that bad or...

It's just part of being human. Sometimes you look at situations like that and think huh wonder what it would feel like if... Like you have never seen a jogger while driving a thought "wonder what it would feel like to just run that guy over"?
I wouldn't sweat it. If you start to be concerned you might act on it, let someone you trust keep the fun for a while.
>Like you have never seen a jogger while driving a thought "wonder what it would feel like to just run that guy over"?
All the damn time. Also I sometimes think of chopping off one of my fingers if I'm cutting vegetables. I don't cook much.
I might do but I might just be overreacting to something normal.
Let's take the time to appreciate a great mind in a sea of armchair generals.
PS: Oppenheimer what happened with the whole doxxing thing?
Oppen is great and all, but he doesn't need his own thread. We appreciate him when he shares his knowledge with us
although I will admit that I am curious about the doxxing debacle
How do you feel about ekranoplanes?
i feel sadness about all this cool stuff that was invented and built in my country, and nowadays it's just abandoned piece of rusted metal.
