Actually, that jet is Ukranian. Copy of the MiG 1.44 anyway

The US can't compete since they already won and russia lost this particular race.

Ultimate close quarters home defense weapon would be a fully automatic suppressed box mag belt fed .22 magnum pistol.

Incorrect.

Or, you know, a shotgun.
Or it would be a society where dindu scum won't leave their hovels after dark, nor would they leave their part of town. You know 1950. We already had the best weapon and lost it through generations of giving ground and screwing our children over with a more pc world.

Glad I'm not the only one who got the reference.
I would like a full size, single stack, .45 ACP 1911 with a rail. I also prefer single-sided safeties and a non-extended mag release but neither is a deal breaker. I don't own any 1911s currently. I would prefer to spend less than like $1200.
So far I'm like at a Sig (either a Nitron Rail or Traditional Tac Ops) and a Colt Rail Gun because those seem to be the most reliable (reliability is my chief concern). Does anyone have experience with these? Obviously the main difference between the two is the internal vs. external extractor.
Just wondering if anyone...

I own this gun.
It is a good gun.
Buy this gun.
Shit thread OP
If you had 1,911 rail guns just lying around what would you do with them?
I own a Sig Scorpion 1911, and I would highly recommend it. Multiple different finishes to suit your preference (I personally like the Scorpion and Emperor Scorpion), and overall a great gun within your price range.
You guys like my gun?
You need to learn how to weld better

What catapults/trebuchets/ballistas does /k/ recommend for home defense

Jesus Christ...
No one NEEDS a siege weapon for home defense, OK? Get yourself a stout hound and a good strong poleaxe if you're that insecure!
Sup /k/, was thinking about replicating pic related because fuck you Murica, does anyone make mini14 barrels that would be lone enough for it to work and also threaded so I can throw the M60 flash hider on?
Also Starship troopers thread
I would also plan to try and get some sights on the bitch using all that space in the carry handle

don't care for milsurp really.
I want the old hunting guns from the 30s through 80s before everyone cheapened out and you could get quality bolts with irons, nice sxs shotguns and great pre hillary hole and colt bluing that they lost the formula on revolvers.
>>30137392
Yes. It's not always about practicality. Sometimes it's just about fun.
Help me /k/. My police buddy brought his police issue benelli M4/M1014 to the range. It is by far the best shotgun i've ever shot and from what i've seen its really reliable. Is it worth 2k to buy one as a home defense and range fun? I just need a second opinion before I get one so I don't waste two grand. I'm not looking for alternatives, just yes or no
bump, I'm curious as well. Seems to be the gold standard of semiauto defensive shotgats.
>>30162562
Yes.
>I'm not looking for alternatives, just yes or no
Alright asshole, then no. The M4 is indeed an exquisitely fine shotgun, but it sure as fuck aint worth the asking price when there are other options that do the same thing for half the price, or in the case of the VEPR12, do even more, for 1/3 the price.

B8. But no seriously, I own one and love it. A little heavy, but they are great rifles. Just make sure that the one you get has the gen 2 gas system.
Pic related, my setup. Shoots 1.5 moa
Does anyone here have any experience with Lax Ammo's factory NEW rounds? I've heard mixed reviews of their reloads but never heard anything regarding their brand new stuff. I'm looking to pick up 1000rds of 9mm (pic almost related) and Lax has one of the best deals on Ammoseek, but I'm specifically interested because they have an offer of free shipping for your first purchase of their name brand stuff specifically, so no shipping costs would make their stuff the best deal.
Normally I just shoot Blazer Brass for practice but I wanted to know if any...

Got some FMJ 357 and 44 special from them at a show.
Nice cool ammo plastic can too for convenience.

I heard their quality control is pretty lax.

I've heard the same about their reloads, but do you know if it's the same for their new ammo?
