>As we advance, the enemy retreats
oh the irony
also what /k think about the golden division? are they operator enough?
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R6axTxU30yo
>>30200610
They're better regular Iraqi army, but they still are shit at reacting to ambushes and they still abandon quite a bit of equipment. They're also in danger of being rendered combat ineffective as a unit since they're losing more guys than they can train replacements for
>Golden division
Sounds like the people at Brazzers in charge of Piss-play vids.

Why is everyone so gay for this gun ? I jsut don't see the appeal ?
is it because of MGS ?
>>30200609
Are you referring to the Colt Commando or the AR-15 in general?
>>30200661
the Commando
It's your best friend in a tunnel
Not your ear's best friend though
what is this, /k/?

I have been looking for a quality 1918 pattern Trench Knife Repro but I cant find one.
They are either 20$ and made from pot metal or they are 400-600$(and i cant afford to spend that on a knife).
Does anyone know where i can buy a functional Reproduction.
daily reminder that your stabby stabby is just a pointy piece of metal and the "brand" and "model name" are just meaningless words attached to it to make you give them money
the type of steel doesn't even matter because even with a good knife you're going to have to sharpen it and oil it under use anyway
>>30200751
also there's basically zero chance that you're actually going to stab anyone with it, or multiple people with it
Daily reminder that he can spend his money on whatever the fuck he wants at whatever price point and quality level for whatever reason.
How does one determine the best bullet grain for its gun?
I have a Colt M4 14,5" and I am about to buy some bulk 55 grains Sellier & Bellot because it's cheap AF but before I buy in bulk I am wondering if I shouldn't experiment with grains and such...
Can you enlighten me /k/ ?
>>30200513
Based on barrel twist rate.
>>30200513
W/ 55 grain shouldn't it be a 1/7th twist?
>>30200527
Is there a conversion table per twist rates and caliber ? or somethign similar ?
Why aren't Hot Air Balloons used as /k/
They're quiet and can be painted blue to camo against the sky. If it's shot down you can just parachute out. They're also way less expensive than a helicopter and essentially do the same thing for recon
Are we watching the evolution of Gliderfag's insanity here, folks? Gliderfag 2: Hot Air Redux?
don't know if you've ever been around a hot air balloon, but they're not quiet when the burner is on. and you have to fire the burner fairly regularly to maintain altitude.
You become a slow moving target
Well?
You've created a monster

Two of my leftist friends posted this to FB today. Needless to say they're both white women.
You think they'd make this same picture if the rapist was black?
>>30200210
This is now a varg thread
Is it dangerous to fire a 22 LR into the air? I have a bunch of birds that sit outside my bedroom window chirping their fucking brains out at 4 am every day.
I know that firing larger calibers into the air is dangerous because they maintain enough energy to kill someone when falling.
But the 22lr has less propellant and also a smaller projectile, could it also harm someone on its way down?
second question, would subsonic 22 be loud enough to wake my neighbors up? (I live in a rural area so not densely populated)
>>30200190
a 22lr bullet/projectile only weighs like half of a penny
>>30200190
Use birdshot for birds you idjit.
Also that image is retarded, why would the CIA go through the trouble of greenscreening a desert when they could literally go to any proper desert (because who would stop them) to film it there, at a fraction of the cost?
It was New Years, and I had only a few shots of whiskey, not enough to get myself drunk.
I decided to bring my ruger 22lr revolver out to do a little bit of celebratory shooting. It was all very safe, I fired it into the air so no one was hurt. But then when I was fanning the gun cowboy style, my stupid glove got caught in between the hammer. The fucking gun went off when I was trying to get the glove out of there and a round into one of my neighbor's house. The bitch got mad and called the cops on me. Was charged with endangerment and discharging a firearm within city...

Hey /k/ommandos,
I recently picked up a shotgun as my first gun and now am wanting a rifle but I'm saving for school so I'm pretty poor.
Guy posted an ad at my gun club for a Mosin 91/30 for 150 bucks.
Are they OK for under 100 yards or are they really that shit? I only do bush hunting so I don't need alot of range.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_Pbquj-6MVc
Don't blame the gun for your shitty shooting skills.
They were cheap and ammo was cheap... The quality to dollar ratio keeps spreading to the point it would be better to get a polymer hunting rifle in a common caliber now. $150 isn't bad if it isn't too beat up...
>>30199996
Make sure the barrel isn't fucked
Why get the p226 over the p2022? It's several hundred cheaper and they are both 9mm.
seriously?
Dat frame... The grip on the 22X ones are a little more comfy, I think the trigger on my 2022 was a little better than my buddies 228 though... I'd only buy a trade in 2 series personally since they seem a little overpriced.
Actual Quote from instructor of this course: “Yes I mean I can tell you those stories, but like I say for legal reasons I cannot. Uh but I will tell you I have been on both sides of the gun where I have not only been the good guy but I’ve been the bad guy too. You know? So that’s a lot of times I grow from a lot of that bringing to the training what it’s like to actualy be the bad guy. You see what I’m saying? And what it’s like to be a good guy with the firearm so I look forward to merging those two so the shooter can actually understand what it’s like to be under...

What were they THINKING?
In reality At what ranges would it be effective to dual wield 2 high cap pistols? Has this ever been applies to close quarters situations in real life?
I have a feeling there are people out there that have tested this and though ridiculed by other shooters have somehow made some progress in this bullshit
>>30199661
applied*
>>30199661
Well, there's the American old West. Though, 8 was high capacity back then. Still IIRC some shootists used two pistols, alternating shots, or guns once one ran dry.
>>30199856
Pretty sure they just alternated guns. Single actions ruled the day and two hands makes maintaining a sight picture while cocking a lot easier.
Also fuck this thread is summer as hell.
I told a story about one of mine from when I was a kid in the sniper thread, figured I'd make a thread dedicated to it.
So /k/. For better worse, or until your cried for mommy, how did you operate as a child? I'll start with another story. I'll post as many as I remember. This one is very similar to my last story, in case anyone read it.

Magpul MBUS Back Up Rear Sight Gen 2 as back-up sights ?
Are they /k/ approved or not good enough for armchair operations ?
They're good, but for around the same amount you can get a surplus KAC 200m sight that's better.
http://www.ebay.com/itm/Knights-Armament-KAC-200m-600m-Rear-Sight-/122003485672?hash=item1c67f973e8:g:XukAAOSwnNBXT1pG
>>30199555
They get the job done. If you're going to be using ONLY iron sights I would highly reccomend MBUS Pros
>>30199571
I take that back.
Get a KAC rear instead like >>30199563 said. They're pretty good.
