Why weren't the police able to kill the truck driver with their hand guns?
Would you be able to stop a truck with your everyday concealed carry?
>>30630228
Because they didnt want to and never intended to
>>30630245
They tried, I guess 9mm can't into trucks
Judging by the windshield, they were trying to get the passenger.
Pls can anybody identify model?
So they really made him a nigger?

Last night I had a nightmare where I was driving down a highway and hundreds of flak guns were firing non-stop all around me. Aircraft were getting hit and they would fall down and hit the highway while me and the other drivers would try to dodge them. Helicopters, Fighter jets. Weird things that looked like obscure prototype aircraft. The last thing that I remember from the dream was a 747 getting its wings torn off and falling on the highway right in front of me.
The question is: could this really happen?
>>30629891
No. Most jets go over 500 mph. I'd like to see someone try to lead an aircraft that's literally a blur in the sky in order to hit it with exploding rounds that might not even reach the area around the damn aircraft in the first place.
There's a reason why you see missiles being used to take down jets now instead of AA guns.
Flak guns weren't even effective back then, especially if we're talking bombers. IIRC something like only 3% of allied planes downed were downed by flak.
I don't have an answer, but that's a pretty metal dream.
What was the throw weight of I-70?
Hey guys, noguns here, just wondering, if I saw a truck bearing down on a crowded street, and just happened to have a pig hunting rifle like a .303, what should I, noguns, aim for?
Lets say the guy was about 1/4 a mile away, doing 60 mph
>>30629648
The driver side windshield, just like the frogs did.
How was this a question that you needed to crowdsource?
Fuck i hate summer.
>>30629668
Ok, lets say I was on the passenger side
cheap guns, price range from $600 to lower.

Bushy complete lower, Stag upper. $580. But no BUIS or optics.
Hi Point
Glock, absolutely the best pistols in that price range.

Hey /k/. So I'm going to starting my fourth year of university this fall, working on my degree in computer engineering. However, I still don't have any real plans or ideas of where I want to work or what I even want to do once I'm out. I've been wondering, are there any guys here who have joined either navy or airforce after university to get a sort of near guaranteed internship? Is it worth it? I've still got a while to decide, but I want to know all my options. Anybody willing to share their stories? Hopefully some computer or electrical engineers...

I don't have an answer to your question but here's some food for thought. Is /k/ the most underage board there is? Every 4th thread is either a weak troll or a /soc/-tier blog thread.
>>30629567
Are you insinuating this is soc tier? I just want to hear people's experiences with the military to see if its right for me. Not trying to brag or get contacts.
Sup /k/. What do you think about the Taurus Curve or other dedicated CC guns?
Good idea? Potentially fatal idiocy? Decent but unrefined? Stupid toy?
Discuss.
>>30629327
Other dedicated CC gun? Fine.
Taurus Curve? Gimmick.
>>30629453
>Taurus Curve? Gimmick.
How so?
>>30629509
Its most prominent features don't have anything to do with the function of the gun and are meant to draw in newfags.

According to the Criminal Code, a restricted firearm is:
a handgun that is not a prohibited firearm,
a firearm that
is not a prohibited firearm,
has a barrel less than 470 mm in length, and
is capable of discharging centre-fire ammunition in a semi-automatic manner,
a firearm that is designed or adapted to be fired when reduced to a length of less than 660 mm by folding, telescoping or otherwise, or
a firearm of any other kind that is prescribed to be a restricted firearm

Was he right, /k/?
>>30629167
Its better than a bolt action but it wasn't even the best combat rifle of WW2 as a whole.
Intermediate cartridge assault rifles are simply better weapons for the majority of combat situations.

For the time maybe.

The British are research 'chemputer's that could possibly build bespoke aircraft in the future.
How would fucking cool would that be, if it proves feasible.

Morning K
I'm a Bong and a few weeks away from getting my full firearm certificate so am looking at my first rifle.
Budget is around £500-600 (already have two Hawke 3-9x56 scopes too so that will save me a few quid). What do you kommandos suggest?
Semi autos are restricted to .22LR here so bolt action will be the way to go. Found some nice nuggets for £300-325 but worried some cheeky copper will tell me bin my bayonet.
Enfield's pretty cheap other there?
OP I would get semi auto .22lr to start with since it's cheap to shoot, by UK standards, and with shit going on in the EU they are probably the next thing on the ban list. Although there is NO sign of that in the UK at the moment. For that much you can get a new 10-22 or Sig 522.
If not you're looking at milsurp or second hand bolt actions of the hunting variety in that price range. Unless you can somehow sleep at night knowing you've got neutered guns I wouldn't bother buying 'straight pull' rifles since they're expensive and basically...

Thanks lads, I did think about a .22 AR15 or MP5 copy. I think a semi would be more fun but less useful. Probably better in the event of a happening though.
what is this pistol?
i bought it in some antique shop for 50$
there's no serial number on it or any writings
