Do any American companies make .308 diameter FMJ bullets with an air pocket like pic related?
Why was there such a substantial difference of treatment of POWs between the Axis and the Western Allies? Obviously the Soviet Union is an exception to the rule, but the point still stands. Japan hadn't signed the Geneva conventions at that time, but Austria and Germany certainly had. It just seems strange that there was such a large disparity between the conditions of each nation; didn't the Germans fear that their own POWs in other countries would be treated poorly if they didn't have reasonable standards in their prisons?
Back in the 1990s, I had a neighbor who was a POW. He was an infantryman and was captured by German infantry. He said they treated him very well. They gave him lots of food and water - even cigarettes. They were friendly. I suppose it was an infantry thing. They knew what he had been through as they were going through the same shit.
I was impressed by that story. Thankfully, he escaped before being transferred to the rear where the true evil occurred.
POWs in germany wasnt treated to bad, atleast not in the early stages of the war.
This ofcourse excludes poles and others that the germans considered "subhuman".
The Japs however treated everyone like shit.
Help me /k/.
Gun noob here. I want an ar15. Yes because of the shit that went down in orlando. Saw this on armslist. Would you buy it for $1100?
I want a .223. I live in Connecticut. I have 1500 American dollars.
What's my best option?
>At the airport i was there.
>and had a chance to be with the kids.
>I was in Pisky about a km away from the airport and that was sort of their staging area.
>Had a chance to talk to the kids who went in
>And ending up being the last. None of them got out
>It is a very intense combat.

Hi /k/, I've been looking to buy a decent Karambit. I've noticed a shitload of Chinese sellers on eBay selling truckloads of random karambits, usually modeled after CS GO Vidya. Pakistani sellers also sell Damascus ones, but they don't look like they even have an edge.
Are the cheap Karambits actually worth a try or should I stick to the higher end ones like from Fox or Benchmade?
I've got a cold steel one that I tho k I paid 75$ for. It's more for show really I don't use it for anything
And at 49 years of age, she's old as fuck.
What should she be replaced with? Can something like a frigate do her job?
Is there any way to do an enlisted job but with an officer rank in the USAF?
Pic related my gun
>aimpoint with teh 20 inch build
I always thought those were neato.
Did you carry it in the serivice/ why that combo and not the carry handle, aimpoint mount that pushes it more foward?
How easy is it to shoot 130 different people using an AR-15?
you're not running when firing so it's very hard to get more than just a couple, idiots stay in one spot
its impossible to be absolutely quiet when scared, involuntary movements cause noise everywhere
Alright, /k/. We get at least one "How can we make Germany win WW 2" thread per week.
Now let's do something different:
how can we make Japan win WW 2.
Here are the conditions:
it's 1939, the US oil embargo is already in effect.Their only condition on lifting it is complete withdrawl from China, which is unacceptable. At this point war is pretty much inevitable. You have two years to prepare.
Here are the conditions that qualify "winning":
destroy the US Pacific Fleet
Hold your conquests by 1945
Just curious, because some people are claiming that they are old weapons that wouldn't last two days in a real conflict.
Are carriers obsolete? Or are they still relevant?
As long as planes exist and are relevant, then an aircraft carrier is relevant. Why would it not be? Planes are still the premier means of killing things. They provide standoff and sustained fighting capabilities unmatched by anything.
So /k/ I have 5k to get funs figured now the time before everyone starts panic buying.
I'm want to get the following 308 semi auto
357 hand handgun
9mm "pistol" thinking the mpx
AR 15 rifle or akm rifle.
So is this doable with 5k? Also what does recommend is the best quality for the money for each of these.
Why don't conventional shotguns have dual tubes like the KSG?
better yet. why don't they have 2 barrels like the dp 12
