What advantage does a flail have over a Mace?
I always see flails and think to myself, why? Its just a limp, un-erect mace.
[pic unrelated]
>>30365313
Im guessing with a good swing much more momentum but that's it.
Plus bad ass.
>>30365313
The flail has the advantage that it's much more difficult to defend against. It's main drawback is that you cannot parry and, like all articulated weapons, is rather difficult if not dangerous to use.
>>30365313
Pro-tip. Flails, with the exception of the rare peasant flail, were historically not used.
Ever.
There were a few made, but not as pieces for war. More as a "look what I did, mom!", which a lot of blacksmiths did. People only believe they existed because of the shitty Victorian-era Renaissance, which was more about making shit up than actual history.
tl;dr, you're right, they suck, and everyone knew it back then too.
Do you think that North Korea would ever actually start a war? Or will they always bluff like they do now? I'd find it hard to believe that top North Klorleajanan officials aren't already aware of the fact that any all out conflict would be a disaster due to their outdated military hardware and lack of any ability to manufacture hardware in any meaningful way.
Maybe as a last ditch effort if things were going badly for the government.
>>30365069
Nork officials are painfully aware of their tenuous position on the world stage, but they're caught between a rock and a hard place. If they warm to the west, China (who like having them there as a buffer to the west) will shit on them from a great height and their own population (who have been told for half a century that the west is Satan) will probably revolt and depose them. On the other hand, if they are too aggressive to the west, they get holocausted.
What's the difference between the USMC and the US Army anyway?
Marines are a quick reaction force that can be deployed rapidly world-wide. Marines are sent in to secure the literal or figurative beachhead, the Army then comes in larger numbers to occupy.
>>30364962
The Army is the US main ground force. While the Marines are the Navy's fighting force and are responsible for amphibious missions as well as being tasked with land and air missions.
Basically Marines go in and secure a beachhead, Army comes in and maintains control/fights while Marines move up.

How's the s&w m&p9? I hear good things about it
s&w mp9c was my first gun and i love it. It's striker fire so the pull of the trigger takes some getting used to. The size is good especially if you get a mag with an extender on it. The only real "problem" i have is in order to have 10+1 loaded, you have to cock it, remove the mag, and then load another round in the mag. Not a big deal but tedious.

So I bought a KSG a year ago. Long story short I hate it. Literally the worst gun I've ever owned. Spent the entire year up till now trying to fix it and at this point I don't trust it for anything.
I love the ergonomics and size though. The dual tubes are great when they work. But they seldom do.
I'm thinking about getting a Bullpup Unlimited Kit for my Mossberg 500.

What about the Maverick Bullpup? I've heard they've fixed the problems with the UTS 15 as well.
Teenage recruits were raped by staff and forced to rape each other as part of initiation practices in the Australian military going back to 1960, a public inquiry heard on Tuesday.
The Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse is hearing evidence from men and women who say they were sexually abused when they were as young as 15, in certain divisions of the Australian defense force.
This commission is focusing on alleged abuse at the naval training center HMAS Leeuwin in Western Australia and the army apprentice school Balcombe in Victoria...

The inquiry also will hear evidence from former and current staff members, and examine the handling of complaints and the responses to claims for compensation.
The inquiry is part of a long-running investigation into sexual abuse in the Australian military.
A spokesperson for Australia's defense ministry told CNN that it is "cooperating with the Royal Commission and supports its objectives to safeguard children. We recognize and commend the courage of those who will tell their own stories of personal suffering throughout the hearings. It is not appropriate...

This is incorrect, this is the Royal Commission into Institutional Responses to Child Sex Abuse.
They said this at the start then get it mixed up?
There has been a previous internal military inquiry into sexual abuse.
>navy
Well there's a surprise. Bunch of fags. I've heard in the us navy there used to be a hazing ritual called 'oiling' that involving shoving a grease gun up someone's arse and squirting grease into the rectum.
So if I wanted a CZ 75 as close as possible to the one in Gunsmith Cats, where's a good place to start?

At the bank, getting a loan for one. They're almost always stupid-expensive because of collectors now.

>So if I wanted a CZ 75 as close as possible to the one in Gunsmith Cats, where's a good place to start?
The toilet. Grab a turd from it, squeeze it in your hand and watch it develop cracks. It's just like a real CZ.
Congratulations. You are now armed with a piece of shit that can only be considered decent thanks to the limited knowledge on firearms of a no-guns Japanese mango artist.
What does /k/ think of recon trucks? I think it is the battleship of our generation, it's dead compared to drones and CAS planes.
http://www.armyrecognition.com/kadex_2016_official_online_show_daily_news/the_new_4x4_reconnaissance_vehicle_from_the_russian_defense_company_strela_at_kadex_2016_10406162.html
Russian truck left by the times. lol
>>30364661
Is this the first time you have heard of battlefield observation radar? Its not even the first one to be fitted to a truck.
>I think it is the battleship of our generation
I'm not sure how to respond to this. Or what ot means.
>it's dead compared to drones and CAS planes.
>drones
You might want to re-read the article.
>>30364661
how are you going to pilot those drones?
you need people to pilot drones, sometimes within the ao. not everything can be piloted via satellite link
>>30364661
How would they be out of date? Mobile radar is nice and laser detection is especially nice in the world of modern stealth jets that radar cant detect.
Also, theyre probably a lot cheaper than fueling drones for sorties all day. Just park it wherever and have 4 russians blow each other while they play with the drone. Think of all the countries with aging air forces too, that rely more on AA than air superiority. Russia loves selling outdated tech.
Sup /k/, in the market for a gun and I was wondering if the "DERSERT EAGLE" is a good choice?
Get one in .357 magnum or .44 magnum so it's the semi auto equivalent of a revolver instead of the meme tier .50 African Eliminator.
>>30364694
Or you could not be a pussy and get .50 African Eliminator, so you can justify having something with the muzzle energy of an intermediate rifle instead of a lot of 9mm, and not a compromise between the two.
>>30364610
OP just be honest with yourself. Do you want something that you can take out to the range all the time? or are you having a mid life crisis and want to tell all your friends you have the DESERT BABY KILLING 50 AFRICAN ELIMINATOR? Don't kid yourself - 50ae WILL be more expensive in the long run.
