The picture here is an airshit, but I wonder, Is there an actual ammo converter kit similiar to this for p90(s), or is it just something airshitters made up.
>also general caliber conversion thread
Is the mag supposed to be a spare mag or is that the one it draws ammo from?
>>30647402
It's supposedly an ammo conversion kit, so that the p90 fires 5.45x45(?)
>>30647402
>>30647429
I didn't answer you question cuz I'm a dummy
>that is the mag it draws from
So /k/ recently I've gotten the oppurtunity to go shooting with my old grandfather, and what intrigued me the most about our trip was the gun that he brought with us on the trip. Its a semi automatic Remington Nylon 66 chambered in .22 and in all black and I was wondering if any of you could figure out how much it costs.
pic is of gun and more pics will be posted

What's the best holster for a glock 19?
What type anon?
>>30647089
What part of, "what's the best holster for a glock 19" don't you seem to understand?
>>30647098
You realize there are different types of holsters, right?
I'm thinking about buying a cheap shotgun.
I am mainly considering the Remington 870 since it has a proven history with military and police forces, and since I can walk into any Wal-Mart in the country and find one. What's the consensus on /k/? What's the best shotgun for the least money?
>>30646926
An older 870 will keep the autists at bay because muh Freedom Group quality control derp. A mossberg 500A or 590 is also a great choice. 500A is cheaper and easier to find but the 590 has a metal trigger guard/housing.
>>30646946
One of my friends did say something about the newer 870s being of lesser quality compared to the older ones but didn't elaborate. Couldn't tell if it was bullshit or not.
The Remington 870 Express is Remington massively fucking up quality control in order to put out shotguns at the same price bracket as Chinese slave labor factories do for their 870 clones.
The guns that Remington actually give a shit about are the 870 Police models that are delivered to police agencies and the base for the Modular Combat Shotgun delivered to the military. Those are in the $600 and up range. If you have the cash to order a Police model then do so.
If you're lucky you can find a used Wingmaster, used Police, or an older Express model from the...

I finally got this thing and I couldn't be happier, post your new guns, gear , or even things you really want
I'm not sure why people diss the stocks shape, it doesn't hinder optics at all really
the comb of those are typically made for ironsights, though with a cheek riser from a stock pad (case holder), you can bring it up with your scope.
>>30646340
Nice CZ bruh. Terra s bottom tier so save for a better scope, also I would own one but as
>>30646618
said, the comb is wrong.
I always wanted to buy an m1a from Springfield Armory, however after seeing 2 explode at the range today. I think I will keep to my L1A1
I hope the guys at SA make this right. Exact same failure in both guns. One was using surplus, the other was using reloads, but no evidence of pressure issues in either prior to this....
>>30645888
What specific models were they?
Standard? Oversized stock?
Any damage to the metal parts, or did the magazine blow out and damage the stock?
>>30645888
Trips, lel
You know it's true now
>cast receivers
ok /k/ im out and about id like your opinion. this 92FS was indoor range used for a year, is it worth 475? first time poster here
>>30645676
Nope.
>>30645689
can i ask why kind sir? just curious
>>30645676
Inspect it first anon
Make sure the frame doesn't have any cracks
The barrel is still rifled
Ask the employee to disassemble it for you
Why do modern tanks still use cupolas as the driver's main line of sight? It seems like it would make a lot more sense to have a 15 inch LCD with cameras positioned around the tank to see instead of direct sight. Of course, you could still have the cupola as a backup, but still; why not use cameras? Or... do we already and I missed the memo?
>>30645658
Cameras are more prone to failure and are more expensive then glass. The "new" Abrams has a remote .50cal turret, but that's about it.
>>30645695
Why not have both?
I believe the Armata uses multiple cameras in addition to the traditional cupola/periscopes for the driver
>>30645729
Well cost is one. People want the military budget down.
Are blades still deadly in the modern world?
>>30645406
Nope
>>30645406
No, after 1980 people just stopped dying from being stabbed.
What the fuck kind of question are you asking?
>>30645406
Y...yes, obviously. That being said my chair leg is deadly if I need it to be what kind of broken English are you speaking op. Please elucidate...
Thinking about hunting whitetail /k/.
Never done anything related to hunting. Know nothing about hunting.
Where do I start?
>pic unrelated
Take a hunter-safety course.
It will basically go over alot of fundamentals of firearm safety in the woods.
It will basically have to hunting strategy's but it could seriously save a life.
>>30645251
I was expecting some tips/tricks from experienced freezer-fillers
>>30645264
No, go get some safety lessons before you go in the woods.
Knowing what we know now about the difficulties encountered in the development of the JSF/F-35 program, should the U.S. have pursued two fighter programs instead? One to develop a single-engine, stealth, multirole fighter with two variants - one each for the USAF and USN, and a second stand-alone program to develop a STOVL fighter replace the Harrier for the USMC and RAF.
Possibly. The Marine Cooters would be all yeasty about it.
Here are my choices:
A) underfolder, wood forearm, parkerized finish. Seller says its made in USA
B)CAI/Zastava new in box, underfolder
C)Romanian with full wood.
All are same price.
If none of these are good, where can I buy a good AK? Which mfg?
>>30645038
pick the zastava or the cigur romanian
throw the usa made in the trash
Pick the Zastava, the Romanian AK is not as reliable.
Source: spoke to an actual Kebab remover.
>>30645038
Can a wood or plastic stocked AK be converted to an underfolder?
Hey guys, I'm looking to buy some kind of rifle. Bolt action. What's best for hunting deer? I've shot guns before just never owned one.
>>30644984
>What's best for hunting deer?
This is a very broad question, which really should be broken down into smaller, more easily-answered queries. But first, how much money are you willing to spend? At what range do you think you'll be hunting? Do you intend to buy any more weapons besides this one?
>Bolt action
Goddamn near anything ever made in .30 cal / 7.62mm and up will do. Seriously a German Mauser from 1898 works as well as a brand new gun.
>>30644984
>hunting deer
What region?
What type of areas are you going to hunt in?
Have you started caliber selection?
Planning on using a scope?
What distance do you think you will have to shoot?
Hey /k, I am new to this board, and wqs wondering on what everyones opinion on the Beretta CX4 storm would be? I live in Canada and i found out despite it being semi auto with a 10 round mag its non-restricted. I think this would be a fun range gun. Opinions?
>>30644822
They're pretty neat. Especially if you have a PX4 to share mags with it.
Ain't any better gun for killing toasters
>>30644838
The PX4 Is the pistol that the rifle is built around right?
>>30644860
Really just the magazine and a few pieces in the trigger.
Which is a downside, because as much as I love the PX4 and CX4, the trigger is kinda shit on both.
The rest of the carbine is a pretty basic blowback design.
I now understand the anti gun control argument of: "Citizens need guns so they can potentially fight against a tyranical government in the US". After seeing the news in Turkey this makes sense.
>>30644673
Well look on the bright side.
A bunch of pissed off civies did citizen arrests all over the place of soldiers and took their guns and even a couple tanks over. Meaning their military didn't have the balls to keep up the civilian massacres.
Which bodes well here.
>>30644673
You were too fucking stupid to understand that beforehand?
>>30644708
Liberals aren't known for being particularly smart.
